    Tuna hand roll
    Eddie K.

It was my 1st time here today. Service was pretty fast. Food came out pretty quickly as well. Ambiance is very cool. I ordered the miso soup, tuna handroll, spicy tuna roll and spicy yellowtail roll. I felt the miso soup was pretty good as well as the tuna handroll. But, I felt the spicy tuna roll and spicy yellowtail roll was a bit salty. But, I think I'll come back to try there speciality rolls next time.

Been here a handful of times and absolutely love the rolls here. Service is great and the atmosphere is warm. If you're looking for a quiet place, I highly recommend. Also a good place for lunch, dinner, date night or even family night. You can call ahead and pick up your order if you just want to enjoy at home. I'm pretty picky with places I go eat at. As you may not know, I grew up in the food industry business as well as having a hospitality degree. I can tell Sushi Cafe uses fresh and top quality ingredients, which you can taste in their rolls. The price is reasonable. Spacious parking and easy to find and access. Took my 3 kids there with me and they loved it.

Stopped by this location due to an appointment in the area. Located in the French Quarters, this sushi restaurant was pretty empty at 1:30pm. I was greeted immediately by the sushi chef + seated by the main waiter. SERVICE: very attentive. I joked that the main server could pass as a Korean Air Stewardess because of how hospitable and accommodating she was. LOCATION: each booth had a little bit of privacy with the curtains + had wonderful view. FOOD: I got the sushi combo 3 and it was not the most filling for $18 but was okay. The shrimp tempura roll was crispy and satisfying. The nigiri was also okay except for the shrimp. It had an odd texture/flavor. Overall very good! It would be interesting to try some of the larger sushi combos when I am in the area.

Great place to get sushi in Duluth. I ordered mine for delivery. I've eaten here before as well. I got the Cucumber Roll, Big Vegetable Roll, and the California roll. Usually I don't get veggie rolls but I wanted to try it. It was a bit dry but that's vegetables for you. The California Roll was so good. Parking isn't bad here either for the times I have gone. Great prices for sushi. Highly recommend if you're craving sushi. Side note for delivery orders: I do wish they would separate the sushi into different boxes so I know which one I'm grabbing for. At a glance, I couldn't separate the Vegetable from the California Roll until I ate it.

This place is a gem! I'm not sure what's better the sushi or the customer service. I was feeling sushi one day while in the area and found them right here on yelp. When i arrived the restaurant wasn't busy and i was seating right away in one of there privacy booths which was perfect as i had a working lunch ( adulting *sigh). The hostess provided suggestions of their most popular items and best sellers. I chose a a roll with spicy tuna and one with salmon. Can't recall the names but They were both delicious and oh so fresh! I highly recommend trying them out to satisfy your satisfy your sushi cravings. The also have ramen which I'll be back to try.

Lovely, quaint little restaurant. Love the private table spaces. Very nice wait staff. Food is delicious. The dancing shrimp roll might just be my new favorite sushi roll. The bulgogi flavor is mouthwateringly good. We'll be back, and we'll bring people with us. A+

    Spicy tuna roll, spider roll

This is an unassuming restaurant off the side of Peachtree Industrial, but the interior is cozy and the food is satisfying and affordable. I believe they are Korean owned as our server spoke mainly Korean with my friend. The regular rolls were $6-8 and special rolls around $11-12. The lady who took care of us was also super sweet and gave me a complimentary miso soup even though I only ordered rolls and not the entree that included the soup. The food was decent, not amazing - my miso soup was salty, and the rice was packed too hard and a little mushy on my rolls. However, the quantity of my spicy tuna roll and spider roll really surprised me as I was expecting the tiny 6-pc basic rolls that you get at other places for $6. The flavors were really good as well. My friend got the poke which looked a little non-traditional - the sauce for the fish was definitely based on korean sweet/spicy sauce, and there were large chunks of pineapple in it. The fish seemed fresh though. Don't expect the highest quality sushi here, but I would recommend this as a cheap and filling local spot to stop for lunch.

The taste of the sushi was not bad. The temperature of the raw fish was way too warm. The Korean fried chicken was so dry and hard. The cost of the sushi was a decent price.

Sushi combo 3 (5 pcs nigiri) and shrimp tempura roll

This place is seriously phenomenal. It's super convenient for me as it's close to my parents house. But I'll comment on the food. I ordered the sushi combo 3 for pickup. Food is delicious. The nigiri was melt in your mouth creamy. I didn't stay there, but the ambiance seemed welcoming. They had private booths available for seating too. It looked cute inside. The lady was quick with her service and nice. Also how cute is the way they still present the sushi and nigiri in the to go packages. The package they gave me included everything except for a spoon(which I had at home) so just make sure they put that in if you order soup like me:) Will return for sushi if im back in town!

Tried this place for the first time & I'm glad we did. We got the Hell, Godzilla & Victoria Secret Roll. They were all tasty but I liked the Victoria Roll the best. The seating was also pretty cool. This would be a great place for a business lunch for up to 4. Service was also great & the Chef friendly & social.

This cafe is located in quiet plaza. Entering, I was greeted and seated promptly. Was also given menu promptly. Interior is cozy, spacious, clean. I tried king kong sushi roll and Alaskan sushi roll. Both were excellent. Will recommend and return myself.

I learned about the place from Instagram - not sure if they still have the $10 lunch specials but that was the lure that got us to check it out. They are located in the same shopping as the Medlock Regal Cinema. CHICKEN KARAAGE COMBO - $10 The karaage was good. Came w/ a mayo-like sauce for dipping. Cabbage salad served as a starter - learned later that you can opt for the potato salad instead which we'll try next time. Combo also came w/ a miso soup which was delicious ... one of the best miso soups I've had! MINCED KATSU COMBO - $10 This was the highlight dish for sure. The katsu coating was perfection, and the pork inside was not at all what I expected ... it was minced and interesting tasting ... we loved it! Served w/ two sauces, and pickles. Also came w/ the cabbage salad as a starter, and the miso soup. Next time I'd like to try the Croquette Combo w/ the potato salad - and eventually try all their dishes. The menu looked really good!

I will say i liked the chicken thigh katsu more. It didn't feel too tiring when eating it. Compared to the pork katsu but that's just my preference. Both dishes were about $19-20 a plate and it came with the choice of a cabbage salad or potato salad. We tried both and I liked the potato salad more. The sauce one the cabbage salad was a sesame dressing it was on the creamer side. On the table you're served with matcha salt, Japanese chili oil, and a spicy seasoning for curry. I would definitely recommend trying the matcha salt as well as the curry seasoning if you want a small kick!! The service was great! They checked on you regularly and there's also a button to call for service. And all the workers (even the ones in the kitchen) greet you when you walk in! Inside had tables and booths. The booths definitely felt more secluded! Overall the food was delicious and definitely filling. I'll be back but this is a once and awhile spot for me!

With so many other boba shops around I would not order those again. But the food once it came out was fresh, very flavorful and served with a smile. We really enjoyed out bento boxes and did not mind the wait. If I had one suggestion, it would be to invest in better seating options as they were not supporting the larger members of our party. Yet, there is something special about Flying Roll. Anything from it's cozy, quiet atmosphere to the flavor-forward rolls, I'd go so far as to say, there's nothing that would disappoint. The Shumai was very tasty, but the Rangoon had with more crab than cream cheese - a first, much to our pleasure. For the rolls, each was enough for one person. The standout was the Lobster Lover, followed very closely by the Triple X. The snow mountain roll was a bit heavy with the tempura flakes ( the Snow? ) but decent overall. Recapping, the service, flavors and vibe all warrant future visits for certain, if for no other reason than to try their other offerings, which are plentiful! Aji Katsu in Suwanee, GA Japanese Tonkatsu & Ramen Spot…read more I am just not a big fan of the sweet flavor in Japanese cuisine. Aji Katsu does have some similar flavors in Japan. Shrimp Curry Udon - Classic Japanese curry: slightly sweet, super rich, and bold. Sauce coats every udon perfectly. Shrimp tempura a bit over-fried, slightly chewy, but tonkatsu-style breadcrumbs gave it a nice crunch. 8.5/10 Yakisoba - Generous portion for the price! Sauce has that tangy, fruity flavor I remember from Tokyo. Beef lightly seasoned. Personally, tangy noodles aren't my favorite, but Tokyo street-style lovers will enjoy. 8/10 Hibachi (Hambāgu) - Grilled Japanese hamburger steak, fried rice, sautéed veggies. Meat tender, veggies had a hint of truffle seasoning. Sweet teriyaki glaze not my favorite. 7/10 Bingsu - Red beans + condensed milk. Small size perfect for 2. Sweet, creamy, refreshing. 9/10

Initially, entering the store was a bit off. The hostess didn't speak to me for about two minutes; she'd made the assumption I was with another party getting a pick up order. But after that was resolved, I was seated quickly. The store layout was nice; big booths with tall sides for privacy. I'm not sure if I liked how all their chopsticks were in a container you pulled from the table but overall a small detail. I did really like getting ice cold water and the metal carafe they provided kept the ice out of the drink. I went for their Aji Ramen and got the $10 3 handroll add on. My choices were unagi, toro, and spicy tuna. Shockingly they didn't have any spicy tuna do I chose a salmon instead. The hand rolls came out first and a pair of scissors were also provided if I wanted to cut them myself. Here are my thoughts: Toro - surprisingly bland. There wasn't the feeling of rich fatness that I expect with it though to be fair I am comparing this to a far higher end omakase experience. Needless to say, I wouldn't chose this again. Salmon - surprisingly good. This ended up being my favorite of the three. The salmon was nice and fresh and the soy sauce and wasabi made for tasty savor bites. Unagi - also good. I'm a sucker for eel. Because of the ponzu sauce, there's no need for soy sauce. I made a mistake of dipping a piece that I cut from the handroll and it was way too salty. Eaten as is, it was just what I expected Aji Ramen - a solid bowl of ramen. I was very pleased with the full egg and also the chashu pork. I don't know if I recall the bean sprouts but at $14, this was kind of a steal in terms of bang for buck. Plenty of food even by itself. All in all, I liked Aji-Katsu. I don't think I'd travel for it but if I was in the area and in the mood I would stop in again.

Outstanding ramen, incredible fresh noodles, and excellent service from Aaliyah…read more Okiboru Ramen Takumen in Duluth was absolutely worth the visit, and honestly, I'm just mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I started with the Okiboru buns (chicken and pork) the crispy gyoza, and the garlic nori fries. All three were a great start to the meal. The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork bun worked really well with the garlic aioli, soy glaze, and pickled cucumber. The chicken one was good too but the pork one beats it on flavor. The gyoza had a nice crisp to them and came with a shoyu dipping sauce that tied everything together well. The garlic nori fries were also really good, crispy and well seasoned, and a fun side to snack on between everything else along with the garlic sauce to dip your fries in. For my main dish, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which comes with rich pork broth, pork chashu, half a soft boiled egg, scallions, and thin Hakata noodles. I also added the thick noodle refill on the side, and I'm glad I did because both noodles were excellent in different ways. The biggest standout here was the noodle quality. You can tell immediately that these are fresh noodles because the texture is just on another level. The thin noodles were fantastic and worked perfectly with the tonkotsu broth, but the thick noodles were incredible too. It's one of those meals where after the first bite you immediately understand why people talk about fresh noodles the way they do. The broth itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and the pork in the ramen was very good too. Service was also a big part of why this visit stood out. Aaliyah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she did a great job making the whole experience feel comfortable from the start. Good food is one thing, but good service is a huge part of what makes people want to come back, and she absolutely deserves a shoutout. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was dining solo, so I sat at a smaller table, but they also have booths and larger middle tables that look like they'd work well for bigger groups. Food came out pretty quickly, and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. And of course, everything got washed down with a Coke Zero. Not fountain, just canned, but it still hit the spot. This was an excellent meal from start to finish. Great appetizers, outstanding ramen, truly impressive noodles, and service that made the whole visit even better. I'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend ordered the truffle shoyu ramen and also found it to be underwhelming. The ambiance has also changed since my last visit. They've replaced the middle bar area with more tables and painted over the previously drawn-on walls. The space feels noticeably darker now and lacks some of the character it once had.
