Miso Soup

If you need a mini-escape and delicious food, this is the place! The lights are dim, there's great background music, and it's got a calming vibe. The waitstaff are very friendly. I sat at the counter, since I dined alone. I had come in thinking I would try their lunch, chicken teriyaki bento box, but instead I opted for a two entree platter that came with a house salad (spring mix and ginger dressing) and miso soup (So good!). Whatever they marinate their beef bulgogi in, it is absolutely delicious! Loved the variety of vegetables, too! I also chose a shrimp tempura roll. My plate looked so good that another customer asked what I had ordered. Will definitely go back!

Cutest little sushi spot in Johns Creek! Every single dish we tried at Sushi Momo was absolutely delicious and made with so much care. The presentation, the flavors, everything was on point. The servers were super attentive and kind, and the food came out pretty quickly too. We even got to chat briefly with the owner, Jacob, and he was such a warm, genuine person with a real passion for sushi and an inspiring story behind the restaurant. You can truly feel how much he cares about every guest who walks in. I really hope Sushi Momo thrives. It was such a heartwarming and memorable experience. We'll definitely be back!

New menu has combo plates at an excellent value: $19-22. Pick two or three items. Plus miso soup and salad.

This is my second time here and the food is pretty consistently good. They have a lot of variety which is great and a lot of interesting vegetarian options. This time we got the chicken katsu, avocado roll, veggie teriyaki, udon with shrimp tempura, miso soup, and salad. I would definitely go back for the sushi and udon! The service is also great and our server was super nice! The place itself is relatively small but was really cute. Would definitely recommend!

What a great find! We came here for my husband's birthday on a Monday evening (chosen because it was a sushi spot that is actually open on Mondays!). We sat at the sushi bar and Jacob was the sushi chef (and as I log on to Yelp to do this review, I see he is the owner too!). We came right at opening and I think he was the only one there, because he got us our drinks and menus. He is the friendliest guy!! Soon after, a server came along...I think her name was Jenny? (I know it started with a J!) Everything was fantastic, from the food to the service. Even the bathroom was nice and clean! We ordered a variety of sushi and rolls, including salmon sushi, octopus sushi, Pepper Punch Tuna (both roll and sushi), Charming Creamy, Hawaiian Roll, Gochjung Butter Salmon, and Spicy Scallop Handrolls. The fish is fresh and the little touches that Jacob added were fantastic! While we were there, two other parties came in and I was impressed that he was able to keep up with the orders as he was working the sushi bar alone, with support from the back of the house. After we paid, Jacob was so kind to give my husband a slice of their Biscoff Cheesecake for his birthday, which they make in house and was out of this world!! It's a 30 minute drive for us to go here, but definitely worth it!! We will absolutely be back!! (The only thing on my wish list is that I wish they had some Soju options...I love a good Lychee Soju with sushi!! But it's definitely not a deal breaker!)

Great new sushi spot in Johns Creek! Restaurant is small but decent sized. Sushi chef was very nice & kept checking in with us on how the food was. A lot of the rolls had tempura in them, which is not my favorite, but I was able to find a salmon roll that was good. I got the fire salmon roll & it was good. Fish was fresh & the taste was good. Spicy, so be warned. Overall, a good spot.

Great restaurant! The menu is creative and fun. I also loved that they have pictures of what the rolls look like so it's not a surprise. Everything that we ordered was so delicious and fresh. Would gladly come again! Thank you for the wonderful food and service!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Sushi Momo! My family visited for dinner, and we were welcomed by cozy decor and friendly service. Important things first, their fish quality is top-notch - it is the freshest I've had in the area. For appetizers, we got Yuzu Ponzu Hamachi and Spicy Salmon Crudo, and we were blown away. For sushi, we got the sea bream, which was fantastic. There is a wide selection of specialty rolls. We loved Baked Paradise, Fire Salmon (my favorite), and Ruby Snow. We also got some noodles to go with our sushi. Miso Ramen was delicious - the meat was flavorful and the soup was delightfully umami. We got level 2 spicy and more spicy sauce on the side. Udon was great, with the noodles with perfectly chewy texture and clean broth. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back!

Mango Crunch Roll

This is my third visit here and I came because I heard the new menu items were delicious. and they were amazing! The salmon was seared with a torch which made it taste even better. Although I don't have a photo but curry was Osaka-style rich and hearty, yet packed with umami making it incredibly flavorful. And My all-time favorite is the mango crunch!

This place is fantastic! Cozy atmosphere, great service and delicious food. The Truffle Wonderful roll is an absolute MUST TRY. I got the chicken teriyaki bento and my husband got their lunch roll special. Everything was super tasty and very affordable. Highly recommend checking this spot out, such a hidden gem!

This is a great place to go if you enjoy sushi or other Japanese food! The restaurant is clean and the staff were really nice and welcoming. There were a lot of variety to choose from - we ordered sushi/sashimi combo, fire salmon roll, and black dragon roll and everything were delicious! Nigiri and sashimi were fresh. Tempura Ice cream is a MUST if you like dessert! Overall experience was awesome and we will definitely come back.

Happy hour price is $2.79 per plate. I liked it because of its freshness, variety of choice, quick, and reasonable price. I also noticed there are some hibachi choices as well so I would like to try them next time. The service was minimal but enough to cover all client needs, inner decor was pleasant. The name Koi comes from special bred colorful carp.

She absolutely loved it and is already talking about coming back after the baby arrives so she can try some of the other sushi options they offer. And when they say "revolving," they're not kidding. The sushi continuously moves throughout the restaurant, and you simply grab what you want and pay based on the plates you select. It was a fun experience, especially since it was our first time visiting. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and we arrived just before the dinner rush, which worked out perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was very helpful. Our waitress took the time to explain how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable throughout the visit. Overall, this was a great experience. More importantly, my wife enjoyed herself, which was the whole reason for the visit. We have nothing negative to say about this location and will definitely be back in the future.

Tucked in a small plaza sandwiched between a orthodontists office and a salon is this little tiny joint off Webb Bridge road off Kimball Bridge in Alpharetta. So when you walk into the place, it's got the vibe of a night market where you're sitting in the street of Hong Kong or Beijing eating local fare. The decor reflects that the art of the place gives it that night market feeling. There isn't much in terms of service as it's a small operation but that's all you really need is a front of house greeter/host and someone to deliver the food and someone to cook it and Haochi has it! Now let's talk food... I had gotten their char sui pork bao (they named it chashu like the Japanese pork used in Tonkatsu ramen), Taiwanese fried chicken, and the HongKong wonton noodle soup... and let me tell you! It's all great! The Taiwanese fried chicken is crispy yet the chicken is so juicy and flavorful. Seasoned beautifully with a hint of that Chinese 5 spice in the batter recipe and served popcorn style with a sweet and sour dipping sauce makes for a very good starter The bao bun is light. Not much of a fan of the char sui pork as it was cut bologne thin yet held almost no flavor and the cucumber used was a bit off putting so wasn't a fan of the bao, at least not the chashu version. The HongKong wonton Noodle soup is amazing!!! The broth was savory, rich, yet seeing that the base of the broth is wonton soup broth, it was also light and super clean and deeply flavorful. Maybe it's the MSG but that's an Asian staple seasoning. They did give large chunks of roast pork and about 4 shumai dumplings in the broth. The noodles were thin and cooked to perfection. What set this right even more so was the addition of chili oil. Bummed they didn't have Chinese black vinegar but I think that's just me being snobby. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experience at Haochi and it's definitely fusion but not in the way that it satisfies the western taste as there is still a prominent nod to the Chinese and South East Asian flavors. Worth hitting up for a lunch spot or a hang with friends.
