The first thing we instinctually noticed was an odd, chemical smell (hopefully cleaning product / hence the knocked off star) and some of the walls looked to be under renovation and partially covered with incoherent children's scribble, but no big deal. Not a dealbreaker, just uncomfortable. The food was great though! I had a tempura shrimp roll and found it crispy and yummy. The vegetable udon was the star and it was packed with flavor. Will go again!
