I love spice and was surprised on how spicy the fresh jalapeños were. 10/10. I ordered the shogun speciality roll. It was soooo big and was delicious. The rolls are huge in general and basically hard to eat in one bite. I ended up taking some of my roll home to eat later. My date got the the salmon crispy roll. Not impressed, ordered the river and got standard salmon, tuna, and some white fish nigiri and sashimi along with a no real crab California roll. The river should have salmon, trout, bass, crappie, steelhead, perch.... You know, from the river. read more

Excellent sushi roll called a Fancy. One kind I've never had and it turned out to the best one I've ever had in my entire life. So much tangy mango and mango salsa or dressing. Very small non-conveying Sushi restaurant. Showed up with only one other Table occupied. We were greeted when we walked in. Open seating, so I grabbed a Table then was asked before I could even glance the Menu, if I wanted to order an Appetizer. I said no thanks & the waitress/server then went MIA. I was about to walk out, then she returned. Once our order was placed, it took about 25 minutes before our food arrived. :-( Once again, service went non existent until a young Girl took over as the Waitress. She was good, I wish we would of had her as our waitress the whole time.. Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't very good. The salmon nigiri was like 2 or so scraps of salmon put onto a sloppy pile of rice. The tataki was blackened over a gas flame and tasted like the gas. Can't recommend this place. The workers should visit a higher end sushi restaurant to see what it should at least look like. read more

I've tried many of the rolls on their menu and my favorites are the Sushi Bomb roll, Vegas roll (they put spicy crab on top! ), Sea of Love roll and Celebration roll. The two lobster rolls they have are also really good when I want to get one of the more expensive rolls. The flavor combinations they've created with their rolls are the best I've had, the fish tastes fresh and clean, and the rice is a good flavor and texture. This is my favorite sushi spot and I've tried many over the years. I usually get my orders to go but during the warm months it's nice to sit outside and enjoy the selection of sake they have. They serve a nice sweet sparkling sake that I recommend. read more

The best sushi spot in West Linn. I love the spicy tuna lover and the salmon crisp. The shrimp and vegetable tempura is a must order appetizer. Service is always amazing and efficient. So we got a whole bunch of take out sushi from rolls to sashimi.. all were very good. We had almost a $200.00 order of sushi and once the food was there it seemed a little on the expensive side. My main issue was the poke. They only gave the smallest amount and filled a whole Togo box full of lettuce. And when I say small like maybe 2 table spoons for like $12.99 I think. But all in all a pretty good place. And I would totally eat there again. Just maybe skip the poke. The rest had good flavor, no fishy ness at all. And the wasabi was good as well. Pretty slow service and super dissatisfied with the wait considering we were the only customers in there. We didn't get our waters we ordered until our meals were almost finished. We were told they had a lot of to go orders and sorry for the wait. Ok, I get that you're busy but we were the ONLY people in the restaurant; you can't muster up enough time to bring water? We went for an early dinner on a Thurs night. Good decision as I could see this place filling up due to COVID occupancy restrictions. We started with their garlic edamame- highly recommend. For dinner we ordered shrimp yakisoba, the French roll (wrapped in a crepe!), spicy tuna roll, an unagi hand roll, daimyo roll, and salmon nigiri. Our dinners came out just as we were finishing our edamame. The yakisoba was excellent. The French roll (definitely a different experience) and the nigiri were very good. The other rolls, all made with seaweed paper, tasted good but the paper was tough and chewy. We will probably try again and I'll update if warranted. read more

I had to find a new sushi place because the one I went to, some of the employees didn't wear gloves or masks when around the food. So I went on a quest to find a new one. I came across Sushi Bomb and I'm glad I did, this small little place has the best sushi I have had in a long time. They have a great selection, and everything I had tasted fresh. The only gripe I have is that it is a little spendy, about twice the price of a normal conveyor plate sushi place. But well worth it, if you want top-shelf sushi. read more

Sushi Bomb is the best! I've been bringing my daughter here for over a year now and Tom, Kaelen, and the whole family team never disappoint. We feel like family when we are there, and the assorted rolls and dishes are always fresh and delicious. We have tried a few other sushi places in the area and there is no comparison. Our favorite dishes are the Cube Tower and JB Roll. Plus they have my favorite G-Joy Sake. Parking can sometimes be challenging, so just account for a little extra time if you're picking up an order. My husband children and I came here for a late lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is clean and nice with outdoor seating. I appreciated most was the items they had for kids. And I still have a funny taste in my mouth from the tempura, where at least 1/2 of the pieces were inedible due to clumps of some white substance, which the server, whom I believe is the owner, called "starch", presumably used to glue the batter to the vegetable.
