Sushi Corner has the best happy hour (Mon-Fri, 5-6:30PM) in Glendale! In addition to their happy hour, they have an extensive menu for everything from sushi to appetizers to hot food. The staff are always very nice and welcoming, and my husband loves getting beer during the happy hour and otoro nigiri. I like ordering the rolls at Sushi Corner, and a pretty yummy one that's on the happy hour menu is the Glendy Roll. Very cute and cozy inside, and you can sit at a table or at the bar. Highly recommend their happy hour or dropping by for a quick lunch/dinner!

This is officially my new favorite sushi spot! Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You can really taste the quality. I highly recommend trying it--you won't be disappointed!"

    Premium Chirashi

Went to enjoy a pre-Mother's Day dinner at Sushi Corner tonight, and it turned out to be such an amazing experience. Chef Bar surprised me with a beautiful premium chirashi bowl loaded with bluefin tuna, uni, yellowtail, salmon, squid, octopus, sweet shrimp, and fresh scallops. Every piece was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the quality of the fish in every bite. The service here is always amazing as well. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the dinner even more enjoyable. Thank you Chef Bar and the Sushi Corner team for such a wonderful dinner and experience. Definitely one of the best sushi meals I've had in a long time!

Super fresh sushi at room temperature, perfect!

August 2025....Sushi Corner....OMG so good. Plenty of parking & perfect for a Sunday dinner since most of the other businesses are closed in the plaza. Totally love: -Lemon Yellow tail roll -Calamari , yes it's the real thing w/ entire parts of the squid -Vegetable tempura with my favorite sweet potato, pumpkin & other veggies -Tam-ago sushi, sweet with a hint of Dashi -Unagi roll with avocado, eel was perfectly seared -grilled yellowtail collar ...awesome - deep fried green tempura ice cream Service an awesome 5 star The only recommendations I have would be to add tofu to the menu especially authentic Agedashi tofu Great place, definitely returning.

Super yummy sushi spot! They have a pretty decent lunch combo. Their service is fast. My food came out within 15 minutes. The ambiance is nice with plenty of tables to choose from. I really like coming here to eat because the food tastes fresh as well. There's plenty of parking in their lot.

Loved the former place so we decided to give the new owner a shot. Very good, great service and we will definitely be going back. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive

I was really impressed with this place. The fish quality exceeded my expectations for a place of this size and honestly, you wouldn't expect such top-notch quality from a small spot like this. Service was exceptional too. Our waitress, nicknamed "Milk," was super friendly and gave us great service from start to finish. The yellowtail jalapeño and toro sashimi are absolute must-tries; fresh, flavorful, and perfect in every way. They also had something I've never heard of before called a mango roll, which is essentially mango slices on top of rolls, and this was awesome (interesting blend of flavors). We also had the Yuzu-flavored soju, which had a great citrus/lemony kick. The plum wine was a little on the sweet side for me, but still tasty overall. Definitely give this spot a try, it deserves way more recognition!

I was greeted with warm hospitality as soon as I walked in. I started with the spicy tuna on crispy rice, which was delicious. The main dish was simple yet impressive, with very fresh fish. Overall, I had a wonderful time during my lunch break. Thank you again for the great service!

Still our fave sushi place! I think my favorite thing about Sushi Corner is their consistency. Whether we dine in or pick up, the food is always just as good, packaged well, and the udon is HOT. Faves: Lemon roll, salmon sushi, full moon, dark angel, dynamite appetizer, spicy tuna, fresh wasabi (yes they have the real deal you can order on the side), shrimp tempura, udon. Their lunch specials are a fantastic deal, too, and the thai iced tea is darn good. The inside is cute, bathrooms are clean, and my son loves watching the TV they have youtube baking videos playing. The other TV almost always has sports on. They play music at a nice soft volume too; loud enough to hear the lyrics, but not so loud you can't have a good conversation with your table. The wait staff is always friendly, food is out quickly, and my husband has never had an issue with his food allergy in the dozens of orders we've eaten here since they opened. I wish more places took as much care and pride in their work as they do at Sushi Corner.

With all the sushi places in this area, I'd say by far Sushi Corner is one of the best! Me and my friends love it here, it has a homey ambiance, but a really good spot for Fancied up sushi rolls, and great appetizers. They have a lot of variety on their menu. They now have photos of all the rolls on the menu so you can see what they look like and it's pretty impressive! The quality and consistency is always there as I've been coming for years. The service is always lovely and they're very nice. It's definitely a treat to come here, and you won't be disappointed! Come check out our local Sushi corner! Some of my favorite rolls are: Baby roll, sexy gal roll, midnight Fernando, 911, Glenday, cheesie ebi, avocado and California rolls, and still have more to try that look new!

    Salmon belly and yellowtail belly

this place is phenomenal. They have a really good quality, fish and amazing sushi, sashimi, hand rolls and more.. The service was great from the beginning as you entered the door they greet you well they guide you to your preferred table, I personally said at the bar because I love to be at the bar and talk with the chefs. overall ambience is great very welcoming very warm and you could even come here with your family.

I know it's a franchise, but I've had other ramen franchises just fine, but it might just be the broth and flavor profile for me. I like that this location is much bigger than the others and is a bit nicer as a result and even during the dinner rush there really wasn't a wait and our food came out decently quickly. Service was friendly and fast too. Ambiance is fancier than the other locations with the dark wood and the dimmer fancy lighting. With every visit, I try to get my ramen super spicy since a lot of, not only ramen places, but Japanese restaurants, spicy means not bland (no offense). And this is the same. I got the super spicy and it just tasted like slightly chili flavored ramen. Imagine someone did cook something spicy in the bowl of ramen and then rinsed the bowl quickly twice. I got the tonkotsu ramen with chashu (2 pieces), seasoned egg, green onions, corn and no bean sprout. Pretty oily and a bit salty and again, not a hint of spiciness. Noodles had a nice chew to it at least. Just alright if anything.

Susuru Ramen Bar is a real neighborhood spot for ramen, and worth the walk and the drive! The Chicken Karaage is the perfect blend of moist and crispiness, and didn't feel heavy or oily. Some places serve chicken karaage over-breaded or drenched in oil, but not Susuru! The Mayu Ramen is really where it's at though. This pork-broth base ramen with black garlic oil surprisingly uses egg noodles, so it's a richer, different taste that certainly stands out. At the same time, no singular taste overwhelms the rest of the dish, and everything from the seasoned soft boiled egg to the perfectly charred chiashu work together in one harmonious feast. Saw the high reviews so had to check it out. Susuru Ramen Bar is located on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and N Kingsley Dr. The lot is small sharing spaces with other restaurants so your best bet is street parking, which can also be tricky especially later in the day. The restaurant is small, with the register counter as the first thing you see walking through the door. There's bar seating against the wall, and 2-3 tables for groups of maybe 4-6 people. The lady manning the front counter as well as taking orders and serving was fantastic. Very friendly and checked up on all tables through out the night. For ramen, my bf got the Tonkotsu ($1 extra for spicy), and I got the Mayu. I see why it has such high reviews, both were delicious. The roasted garlic oil was amazing and complimented the pork broth. The seasoned soft-boiled egg was our favorite part, not just lightly seasons either. It was sweet and savory with each bite, and the creaminess from the jammy yolk was fantastic. The charred cha siu slices had a slight sweetness too, and the fat through the slices gave it this wonderful melt in your mouth, mouth feel. The tonkostu spicy used the same broth just added the chili oil to it and gave it a good bite. The noodles had a nice chew to it. It was just the perfect bowl on a chilly May evening. Definitely worth checking out for a great bowl of ramen.

The yuzu shio ramen was definitely lighter and more citrusy because of the yuzu, which I can appreciate, though it wasn't necessarily my preferred ramen flavor profile. I ordered it with chicken instead of pork, and I really appreciated that the karaage chicken came on the side so it stayed crispy and didn't get soggy in the broth. My partner really enjoyed the karaage chicken curry rice bowl. We also tried the tamagoyaki appetizer for the first time. Interesting flavor profile, but honestly it didn't really pair well with the rest of what we ordered, so we ended up taking most of it home and never really finishing it. Typical order for me is a Bold Ramen, Non-Gluten free, Go Green, Garlic's Best Friend, Give it a kick, with a flavored egg. If I'm extra hungry I will add extra noodles but their other appetizers such as their fried rice have never really wowed me, but hey, not for me. One thing that I do not get even though I am rating five stars is why they serve extra noodles immediately with your bowl of ramen. By the time you're done with your first portion of noodles, the second portion is a noodle brick that you have to pry apart in your bowl with your chopsticks. Ramen Tatsunoya handles "kaedama" wayyyyy better in the respect that it's to order and they bring it out almost instantly after you order it with extra green onions, wood ear mushrooms, etc. Tatsu definitely has the ability to pump out a bowl of ramen fast - so I know they could do this too with just a little extra care between front of house and back of house staff. Please consider it. Your customers ordering extra noodles will immediately notice a quality difference getting to eat fresh noodles!
