This business i family owned which adds a lot of warmth. The fish was extremely fresh and soft! I am from Brooklyn and this fish is wayyyy better than there! The family is EXTREMELY SWEET, generous and friendly and always made sure we were satisfied with their service. They were kind enough to let me use their bathroom behind the counter as well! Highly, HIGHLY recommend to visit and try their food!

Maybe had an off night, first time trying Sushi Corner in Melrose. They had decent reviews so had to try it out. Got a basic, Shrimp Tempura roll and it was bleh. From the color to the taste, I had two pieces and had to throw the rest away. That was unfortunate. I will say that the workers were so kind and friendly! I might try it out again, maybe not the sushi though.

The food is good and fresh but the burrito was wrong and I didn't notice until I was home. It was supposed to be salmon and baked scallop. I received salmon and crab stick....

I've been coming here for 7+ years and the food has remained consistent every single time I've gone. Always the freshest sushi, generous portions and prices have remained fair even after all of this time. Jackie (The Owner) is one of the nicest, if not the nicest person you'll ever meet and though their menu covers pretty much everything, if there's something you want that's possibly not on the menu he'll give it to you. He is a man of the people. My wife and I have eaten at some relatively high end restaurants and even still this little hole in the wall is hands down the best sushi money can buy. 10/10

This spot has online ordering where you order and pay in person once you arrive. Right now they are take out only. The sushi was good, but lots of cream cheese in the philly roll Got the crab Rangoon and you can tell there was actual crab in there! Most places just do straight cream cheese these days

The food speaks for itself; it's fresh, delicious, and prepared in a way that feels like the animal was respected from start to finish. The service is attentive and quick, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. The inside seating area is small, but when the weather is nice the outside seating is pleasant. I have yet to attend the omakase, but I cannot wait! This is the type of spot where you'd want to keep it for yourself because it's such a cozy and delicious experience, but you also want the business to thrive!

We did the omakase, which is best to make reservations so he can prepare. The omakase is served one piece at a time with time slots of 1:30.330 and 830. It's $110 per person and it's 15 courses. Our favorites were the Spanish mackerel, and the giant eye red snapper. Everything else was really good, but those two stood out as our favorites. You can also order the omakase à la carte, but best to give it some time to prepare because each piece is intricate. We look forward to trying if everything on the menu!

All fine in their own right, but not exactly the environment you think of when selecting a sushi restaurant. Then, just to enter, you need to find the entrance behind a support column and take an elevator up to the second floor. So right off the bat it's a bit strange. That being said, once we were seated for AYCE, everything was superb. The server would bring us a new order card immediately after we ordered each round of food and checked back often ensuring we never had to wait very long for the next round of food to come out. The entire menu was available...sushi, sashimi, rolls (including the special rolls), apps, soups, salads, and hibachi. The sushi wasn't elite, but absolutely fresh and tasty. And the wine is very reasonably priced. There is also a hibachi area of the restaurant that we didn't visit, but we could hear it. The menu is extensive ranging from sushi, hot pot, hibachi and even ramen. Since the goal for the day was hot pot, that was whah we opted for. I always like to try their watermelon slushes but was not a fan of theirs as it was partially real water the rest was artificial syrup. As much as I wanted to enjoy it I just couldn't get over the fake after taste that would be left in my mouth. Our broths were half Tom yum and beef tomato. Being a part of four, we ordered the beef lovers and seafood supreme plates along with the included two plates of veggies. The complementary veggies included corn, Napa cabbage, bok choy, daikon and tomatoes. I'm a huge fan of needing a crunch when eating, so we ordered extra sides of enoki mushroom and corn. Overall, I had a good experience. Because they were severely understaffed, it took an extra 30 minutes to leave to get the check and pay. They were still very nice when they were able to get back to us and completed each request for napkins, water refills, and extra drinks. Would come again!

Kowloon is perhaps the most famous parcel and relic of the so-called "Old New England Orient," something from the bygone years of French Indochina and the bloody colonies and before the massacre at Tiananmen Square changed the world as we knew it. It is said that Kowloon was designed to give the humble locals a taste of The Exotic, to flush their mouths with juices laden with new and exciting flavors. Here visitors bear witness to the strength of a groundbreaking architectural masterpiece: Kowloon is a palace that, in the words of Mark Twain, is "kin to Machu Picchu and the Taj Mahal." And yet unlike today's Taj Mahal, the innards of this architectural masterpiece house nearly every type of legal excess: food, alcohol, and gambling. It has been asked not twice but thrice: why would I go to the Great Wall of China when I could go to Kowloon? On my inaugural visit to Kowloon I only partook of the first legal excess. A large plate of tangerine chicken accompanied by something with a name along the lines of "triple delight." The chicken was well-starched and sweetened and moist like the lips of a baby lamb. It was the most unhealthy thing I consumed all week. Triple delight (or whatever it was called) was good but delight may be a stretch for anyone who does not consider salt to be this earth's greatest delight. The hostess is a businesswoman.
