This place had the highest quality bento box items. The cuts of meat were cooked well, tender, tasty. The fried rice was flavorful and good. The best part was that they included a seaweed and squid salad which is my go-to appetizer at an Asian place and they did it right. The variety and quality of everything was great. However, menu items were quite pricey and the portions were small. Kitchen messed up my BF's yakisoba noodles by serving him yakiudon without even offering us a discount or comped dish. There weren't that many people there but his dish took so long to come out (only to come out wrong...). It was also not great to have a family with multiple loud children be seated in the adjacent booth that shares the same seat row back. They could have spaced us out just a little... Nice space though with tasteful decor and a nice entrance and location. I would come back here but only for their deals. read more

I have high expectations so I'm giving this place 2 stars! Almost every roll has shrimp tempura- not a ton of purely raw fish rolls- and everyone roll we got was super dry!! Please add 1. more sauce to the rolls that have sauces on them! 2. Cilantro to the top of rolls I realize we are in twinsburg (just moved here from San Diego) so I'm trying to have an open mind with sushi spots... The sushi has gone way downhill since sushi chef Steve left. My soft shell crab roll looked like imitation crab. The other rolls barely had any fish and they fell apart when we tried to pick them up. Ad hoc family gathering. We didn't have reservations but the restaurant made rooms for nearly a dozen of us that showed up. Service was really good. We had our waitress running around but she did a great job of keeping drinks filled and bringing out our various food choices. We were sat at a hightop table. We ordered in using DoorDash and were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I each ordered a hibachi bowl - I had the bulgogi and he had the Korean steak. He also ordered a spicy tuna roll. My mother in law ordered the chicken hibachi dinner. The restaurant complied with all our modifications - no egg in the fried rice, subbing extra veggies for noodles, cooking the meat to the right temp, etc. I didn't enjoy the ginger dressing on the salad or the clear soup as much as some other local hibachi places but it wasn't bad - just a little different. I really liked the flavor of the bulgogi and all the goodness delivered fast - we were quoted an hour but it arrived in under 30 minutes. I would definitely consider ordering from here again. It had been a while since we were inside Sushi En, and we were not disappointed!! We were greeted as we approached the host stand. The portions were quite sizable. The steak was cooked to my liking, as was the chicken. Very tender pieces of meat. Javone was our server and she was great. Very attentive and had answers for our questions and was able to follow up with management and the kitchen on some of our dietary needs. The restaurant had a few other people in it when we arrived for a Sunday dinner. Maybe folks were more into football and basketball; or maybe the only beer on Sunday rule they have in place. As we left the restaurant, the sushi chefs, the waitresses all thanked us for coming in and hoped to us again soon! Crazy, people want more things besides Mexican restaurants, and they don't go to them! This place is great! The food is wonderful, the service is great, it's a unique spot. The rolls were so tiny I thought they were appetizers for my appetizers, and the fish tasted like it took the scenic route to the restaurant. Honestly, I've had fresher sushi from a grocery store... and I'm not talking about the fancy kind. My husband ordered the hibachi steak and scallops--$30 for what looked like a toddler's portion. Two scallops, a few lonely bites of steak, and a sad little bowl of rice that couldn't even drown my disappointment. Final verdict? If you are looking for "pre Covid" service, this is the place to be! We went at lunch and it was pretty busy, but we were seated right away, drinks were brought almost immediately after sitting down, appetizers, entrees etc came out all as they should have and QUICK! The wait staff is tentative and the place is immaculately clean... Onto the food! We each had a sushi roll and the bento boxes. Both of which were fantastic. I love that you got a Little of everything , mine was the chicken hibachi. I also got the kani salad which is the only thing I don't recommend, it wasn't good at all, In fact I didn't even eat it! If you are looking to satisfy a craving for Asian food, this location is convenient if you live in the area. However, the soups and ramen are very bland. I've had the seafood udon and the meats were not very seasoned, as wasn't the broth. With that being said, I have yet to try the actual sushi here! This place just opened in Twinsburg in the old Bob Evans. Completely redone. Looks good both inside and outside. Called in my lunch order got the S2. Which was California, tuna, and cucumber rolls with soup or salad. I got salad. I typically Love the ginger dressing. Note they were on it and said 10 mins to pick up my order. Wow not bad. It was a large order of 6 rolls of each. Salad was in a little to go container but was fresh and crunchy. Dressing good. I was not disappointed at all. Ate it all! Now let me say this. It was good. Taste, presentation was fine. Was it extraordinary- no not really. I actually thought the California roll was the best because the avocado was so good and creamy in it. But otherwise the taste was no different than Giant Eagle sushi. Would I go back. Yes. Would I try more, yes definitely. Maybe my expectations were too much. It was good. Okay for what you get. I was hoping for extraordinary. They are new. Maybe the next one. I didn't want to give them less stars but they might move up or down on the next try. Let's see how it goes. What I personally didn't care for, but which other customers may not mind, were the many TVs that even some staff wouldn't stop watching, the very bad smelling restrooms, the hostess who didn't speak English and didn't know what to do with a customer arriving; and the staff I saw playing with their hair and not washing their hands before making sushi. I have to say, I truly don't understand how they're opening a second location in Cleveland. The Twinsburg location is NEVER busy. I've eaten inside once and ordered carry out three times. Before mentioning negatives, I'll hit the positives... - food is promptly ready for carry out orders - the sushi of good size and appropriate pricing, and presentation is excellent, as is the taste Negatives: - the one time dining in...the hibachi served to our table of three was totally flavorless and considering there were only two other tables in the entire restaurant, it should not have taken the 30 minutes to get to our table - as well, we had no silverware and it took three chances just to get out waters - the three times with carry out orders have always been the same... - great sushi - extremely rude and awkward staff I can only assume that the reason the food is so prompt for pickup is, sadly, due to the lack of occupancy in the dining area. I'm shocked that they've lasted this long and even more so that they're investing in a second location. That said, however, the second location being in Playhouse Square will surely be much more appropriate and assuredly lucrative. read more

We enjoyed our stop here the other night. The service was exceptional- everyone was kind and prompt with everything. We sat down with 5 minutes until the end of happy hour and our server told us about the specials and let us put in a quick partial order to take advantage of the awesome specials.
