Fantastic giant lunch deal every weekday from 12-3. Look at this galbi lunch box for $20! Even comes with banchan, a dumpling, rice, japchae. Delicious.

Looking for an authentic feeling Korean BBQ? Miega's your spot!! We went for lunch on a rainy Saturday and ordered the Set 1, which includes Miega Set 1 - LA galbi, beef bulgogi, shrimp ($69.95). So much food, definitely could be for 3 people! The LA galbi was a bit tough, but the flavor was great! Lettuce wrapped the meat made me feel not as heavy, which is a great idea. Our server was so sweet and took care of us! Remember, the banchan (sides) are usually unlimited, so if you like a side, feel free to ask for more!

I visited for the first time in April 2023 with a friend who had previously visited. We came for dinner and I remember that I was so hungry before arriving. FOOD -- In April 2023, I ordered the S9 on the menu which is the Bulgogi Dol Sot Bi Bim Bob. This is a Rice and Beef dish with Vegetables ($14.95). It had lots of good flavour because of the mixture of seasoned meat and vegetables. My friend and I shared the A1 on the menu which is the Gun Man Du (deep fried pork dumplings) -- $8.95 for 6 pieces. I don't eat pork often yet I enjoyed the dumplings because it was crispy and tasty. We dipped it into soy sauce. Our main course meal came with a bunch of side dishes (called banchan) that are meant to be shared. This is typical in Korean restaurants. All the 6 side dishes were served cold as they often are but this wasn't a problem because I ate them with my warm rice bowl. I enjoyed the side dishes. My favourites were the little potatoes and kimchi. I can definitely see myself returning back to try other food options on the menu. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 29/365 total reviews in 2025 - 810 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 16 January 2025

Still one of the best place in town for KBBQ. While it's on the pricier side, it's worth the splurge. This place is located on the second floor of the building, right next to the dance studio. Food is good and the service was decent for a 1 server. Food portion were very generous with free refills of banchan (side dishes) upon request. The table ordered the combo 2 meat set and requested to swap one of the meat to LA Galbi. We also didn't mind the extra charge for the change. Server was very friendly and helpful. He even made recommendations to pair some of the meat with certain banchan for a more robust flavor. In terms of the deco, it doesn't really change even after 7-8 years.

Miega is one of the best Korean bbqs in the US that we have tried. You are hit with the smell of delicious grilled meat once you walk in, and it feels like you've been transported to Korea itself. Only half the restaurant is set for kbbq (so reservation is recommended). The other half are regular tables that serve their 'regular' entrees. We tried honey garlic wings to start and loved everything about them. Also the fact that they give you gloves to eat the wings is a plus. For the bbq, we tried LA Galbi, Pork belly (Sam gyeop sal), thin sliced spicy pork and beef boneless ribeye. You can tell that they serve high quality meat. LA galbi and ribeye were my favorite. Our server was exceptional. He cooked the meat for us and suggested the best way to enjoy each cut of meat. Their soft tofu soup and steamed egg go well with the bbq, along with the extensive banchan side dishes they provided. Beware that you will have that strong kbbq odor on your clothes afterwards though. Very impressed with our visit. Can't wait to go back

I come here more often than I feel comfortable admitting but I promise the service, quality, quantity and taste are consistently superior. For sure my favorite place for KBBQ!

It's upstairs at the Asia market. The Asia market has a food market on the lower floor and furniture strewn on the main floor as well. Doesn't open until after 12:30PM today. Will try back later. Some kimbap sounds good this morning.

This is a great place for Korean BBQ. The food was excellent. We had bulgogi, kalbi and another meat and there was plenty of meat for 5 people. Plus kimbap and tteokbeoki. Both were delicious. For dessert we also had the Miega and Mango bingsus which were such a wonderful treat at the end. The service was also fantastic. They were constantly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed (enough water, sides, lettuce) and asked if we had any questions. Also our grill wasn't heating up all the way so they brought out another one. They were wondeful. Highly recommend!

The ladies cooking are from Korea and the young man who served us could not have been more patient or wonderful. Difficult place to find .. second floor in what looks almost like a warehouse. Off 38th Street inside a fenced area and above a Korean market. Worth the search!!!

So I just went with my family to this restaurant this past weekend. I had to post a review because the service was HORRIBLE. The food was delicious however our waitress Christie was not attentive, professional or kind. We had to constantly ask for napkins and refill of the water jars. At one point, all of our meals came out except one person's food. He waited for nearly 30 minutes for his food and he was still eating when we were finished. We asked for the owner but was told that she's 70 years old and doesn't speak English. No one ever apologized for the food coming out late or even gave a reason why until asked. The reason given was that the "old woman" is slow and she cooked the food. This was so disturbing. So with that being said, we will not return again. Two stars given for the good only which was delicious.

This meant that I was able to eat the traditional Korean New Year's Soup for good luck, health, and happiness. I had always ordered other soups, but what I love about this place is the consistency of always having the soups come out exactly the same. I stopped by again this New Year, and the gentleman who served us is always focused to ensure everything was aligned and served well. The banchan (side dishes) were always filled when needed. The calm but filled restaurant shows that this is truly a staple in the Parma area, and it was such a pleasant "taste of home" for someone who is half Korean. You know it slaps when the parking lot is filled, and their phones are ringing non-stop. The culture the restaurant brings also invites locals who are trying Korean food for the first time. I truly admire how the place represents that it's owned by hard working people who extend the value of our community.

When I opened the menu, I was sad to see the galbi lunch box - my former go-to - was no longer an option. So I had to settle for one of the other lunch boxes - spicy pork bulgogi. Though the spicy pork bulgogi wasn't as delicious as the galbi (I LOVE Ha Ahn's galbi), it was still a delight to my taste-buds. Regular bulgogi can sometimes be a little too sweet for me, but the spice offered a nice contrast and balance to the sweetness of the meat, which was tender and juicy. In addition to a sizeable portion of pork, my lunch box came with a salad, a crispy mandu, kimchi, seaweed salad, and a scoop of steamed white rice. It was more than enough food to leave me satisfied, especially when combined with the fresh banchan, which included some greens, more kimchi, some sort of steamed egg dish, spicy daikon, and sliced fish cakes. Along with great food, the restaurant provided great service. Our server kept the refills of hot tea (complimentary!) coming. But please bring back the galbi lunch box!!

Because of that experience, we came in with high expectations and were really excited. At first, I liked this restaurant for its cleanliness and cute decor. The overall ambiance gave a very pleasant first impression. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. I was not satisfied with the service or the food quality. When the server brought us to our table, she seated us at the front near the entrance by the snack corner. We asked if we could move to a table in the back, but she told us those tables were for non-bbq guests. We were okay with that and stayed. However, shortly after, we saw other parties being seated in the back and eating KBBQ. That felt inconsistent and honestly disappointing. We ordered the yookhwe (beef tartare) bibimbap ($20.95), the Korean beef BBQ combo for two ($119.99), prime rib ($44.95), and makgeolli. Honestly, the portions were lot smaller than I expected for the price. Brisket only came with 6 thick pieces and galbi came with 9 to 12 pieces depending on how you cut them. The last straw was just seeing 10 small pieces of prime rib. As for the taste, it was decent but not the best. The banchan, doenjang jjigae, and steamed egg were good, but the beef was tough and hard to chew. The sauce on the marinated galbi actually hardened like candy after grilling and stuck to my teeth and the plate. We cooked most of our meat ourselves, which we didn't mind, but it seemed like our server was busy with other tables. Overall, I was disappointed and probably won't be back. If you've never had KBBQ, it might still be worth (?) a try considering for the authentic experience, but I don't think the service, portions or quality make it worth the price.
