The appetizer came very fast, maybe within 5-7 minutes of ordering. The sushi took about 45 minutes and we couldn't figure out why. We were 1 of 5 total tables, and were seated and ordered before 3 of them. The sushi was good. The spicy mayo was delicious and had a nice kick. The Highlander roll was my favorite; the tempura batter was crispy and flavorful and the inside was the perfect texture. Our server was wonderful. Even though our sushi took a while, she was attentive and very genuine with her service and communication. It was strange that during the "lunch rush", the manager (possibly?) would decide to hammer and install something at the drink station, which is in the middle of the dining area. We ordered our classic favorites of spicy tuna and eel/avocado, which were comparable to other local sushi places! We also tried two premium rolls, the bulgogi roll and VIP roll. Both were great! Great little sushi gem. I highly recommend the "House Soup" something so simple, but the flavor hits your tongue like . I had a few pieces of nigiri, some regular rolls, and some special rolls. They were out of toro which made me sad, and the maguro was not quite as tender as toro, but it was good. The unagi was pretty darn good: tasty, big, tender. The rolls were good. I had a yellowtail scallion roll, subtle and pleasant; and a yamyam roll, which has spicy crab, also good. Also an AAC- asparagus avocado cucumber. Crunchy and sweet and healthy. Then the biggies: first a Red Bull roll, essentially surf and turf with lobster inside and marinated grilled steak on top. Yum. Then a monster roll: over the top decadent with crawfish and a ton of other stuff, mixing textures and flavors. Messy and amazing. My friend ordered a chicken bento box and it was full of goodness, including, chicken, rice, some California Roll, salad, soup and gyoza! We also tried a Sunday Morning roll. Very good! I had never heard of this place and I love sushi so when my daughter suggested it, I was on. It's located in the Polaris shopping area. The place is not fancy; it looks like one of those buildings that was once another kind of business that was conver into a restaurant-high ceiling with exposed duct pipes ( is that what they are called?! a cement floor and wide open spacing for tables. There is no ambience as I would describe that, but the sushi is really good!! There is a lot to choose from; the menu is like 8 pages. You can get sushi or hibachi. There are appetizers as well. I got calamari, which I did not care for, but my sushi choices were wonderful! My favorite was one of their "fire" sushi selections. They actually bring it to your table in flames and it burns until the fire runs out of fuel but when I tell you it was good, I'm not even close to sharing or communicating how good it actually was. I wandered into the Sushi Factory on the first snowy day in November. I was promptly seated at a spacious booth and given a menu to view. I ordered the large hot sake which came out right away and was the perfect temp. I then ordered the sushi sampler and a spicy tuna roll. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I loved the portions for the roll. It was the perfect amount of food for me. The prices were spectacular. I was surprised at the great value I received. The restaurant is spacious and conscientious of social distancing. The service was excellent and I had a really good time. They even had large TVs so I was able to catch the game! I didn't believe that a restaurant would give you half off sushi, as sushi is notoriously expensive, but Sushi Factory actually does give this discount when you dine-in, which I think is a great deal. I ordered crab Rangoon (very good), and three different sushi rolls, the spider roll (soft shell crab), lobster roll (deep fried lobster tail), and the mom roll (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado, lobster salad). In addition to being expensive, sushi is not very filling to me, but with the 50% discount, my three rolls totaled $27 and were very filling. Win-win in my book. Even though the Moon Roll is on the raw menu, it comes with all the fish inside cooked. A couple of years ago I ordered this same lovely-sounding roll, and when it came to me cooked, I asked the server about it, but she insisted that the fish was supposed to be cooked. I ate it but was verrrry disappointed. This time I read the menu more carefully and hoped it would actually be raw, like the menu says. It's not. So sad! Thankfully I asked the server before I ate it. She sent the sushi chef to my table, and he insisted it was supposed to be cooked and, after some back and forth, finally said the menu was a misprint. Hmm. Anyway, they let me choose a different roll, so I picked the Avocado Spiral with salmon, which is beautiful and yummy and loaded with both avocado and salmon. I've been looking for a sushi place like this for years. Recently because of the pandemic, my favorite sushi place is closed and this place now has just replaced it as my favorite. My friends and I went to sushi factory last week because of the menu stating that there was half off rolls every day. I didn't expect that the roles would be as good as they are. The rolls are so fresh and made it to perfection, I was very impressed. There was four of us at our table and one of us did not want to share so he got his own. We ordered two orders of edamame and that was enough for four. Between the remaining three of us we ordered eight rolls which was the perfect amount. I highly recommend the following rolls as they were AMAZING! Super Mario Roll, Derby Roll and Sunday Morning original. We also got a roll on fire which was very cool but had a fiery taste to it that I would prefer not to have. Next time we come, i want to try the tower roll. Overall my experience was amazing. The restaurant is set up very modern and Instagram worthy. They have a sign outside the main doors that says I would trade you for sushi. Especially outside of the home. Everything was fresh. We had the pleasure of trying their miso soup, bulgogi steamed bun appetizer, steak and chicken hibachi, Philadelphia, mushroom, and California sushi roll. We had shared them of course and still had a lot to take home. They had a homemade Yum Yum sauce that went with the hibachi that was unbelievably tasty, it was sweet with a burst of flavor. Once our other friend arrived, Jasmine advised us that all of the sushi rolls are 50% off! My mouth literally dropped! "So you mean that I can get this $22 roll that you light on fire for $11?" We were craving sushi and decided to try this place for the first time and we were impressed! There's many places in the city for sushi, but this place is delicious and affordable! There is plenty of parking in the plaza and plenty of space inside for dining. The space is cozy and ambient, it was a good atmosphere for dinner. The menu is a bit overwhelming because there are so many choices! Did I mention that rolls are 50% every day for dine-in! We got a few rolls to share and an order of the tempura calamari, and the rolls were delicious. The calamari was lacking in flavor a bit but the breading was crispy for a bit and then got soggy if you let them sit. I'm sometimes picky with fish and having the too fishy taste, but everything seemed decently fresh and pretty delicious! Overall, we had a great dinner and we enjoyed it. I recommend the Red Bull roll if you want to try a nontraditional roll and like steak, the Spicy Trio if you like octopus, and the Diva roll for a bit of spice. We enjoyed the Moon roll, Spicy Salmon, and Dynamite roll however we didn't find them special to us, but still yummy. Again, everything we got was 50% off and we're excited to come back to try more! We spent about $60 after tip, for two for 6 rolls, which is pretty good for good we thought. I recommend this place for small group dinners, a casual date, yummy sushi, or just a good meal! The mixed reviews definitely had me skeptical but decided to give it a go with some friends. I'll start by saying that we all really enjoyed our food. The presentation was lovely and everything tasted fresh. The prices when dining in are great, half priced for all the sushi rolls. Personally I get a little panicky when there are so many choices, and this was no different. The combo of too many options and extremely slow service was just a bit overwhelming. We were seated right away but probably 45 minutes went by before we got drinks or placed an order then another long stretch before we received our food. I know a lot of places are understaffed right now and that's totally fine but this felt a little unacceptable considering it wasn't super packed.
