Found this quaint, hole in the wall sushi spot on Gravois! Went on a Saturday for lunch to pick up/carryout. I placed my order online through platform listed on website and it was super easy to use. There is minimal parking at the front of the store and is by the street so will have to be careful when reversing car in case of traffic. There were no customers when I got there to pick up order but they had only been opened for 30 min and it was very gloomy/rainy outside. Loved the cherry blossom roll but the TNT roll was ok, the rice was slightly dry for that one and didn't taste that special but decent. Overall, would go back if I want something quick/close to home!

I've only ever ordered from here for pickup, but I keep coming back for the lunch special, and it's been awesome every time! The crab Rangoon is definitely on the savory side but still delicious, and I love that they include sweet-and-sour sauce with it. The sushi is always fresh and tasty, and the highlight of my visits has to be the staff. They are super friendly and welcoming every time I pick up my order. I really appreciate the little touches, like the smiley faces they leave on the receipts and boxes--it just adds to the overall experience. If you're looking for great sushi and a friendly atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out!

We went here again with the kids during early evening hours on a snow day yesterday. The service this time was great. We got our food including sushi in a very reasonable amount of time. This place by far has the most consistency for sushi, therefore became our go to place for sushi. The sushi tastes fresh for our area. The shrimp udon was for one of the kids per her request, which she likes along with the sushi.

My daughter was in town visiting and we decided to try a new to us sushi spot for a late lunch. We arrived 30 mins before their midday closure. However, the waitress was very nice and accommodating. She didnt rush us at all. The space was quiet and had traditional decor. The food was AMAZING. All of the fish were super fresh. The hand roll was OVERSTUFFED and delectable. We'd DEFINITELY go back.

Quiet little place you could easily pass by but don't! Justin always kills it at Sushi Hana. Came tonight for dinner around 6 the place was packed! For obvious reasons! Food took some time but this place is worth the wait.

First time here! Just a Tuesday afternoon, walked in and was transported to another nation. The smells and scenery made me feel like I was somewhere else. The miso soup was very flavorful & hit the spot. Then I had to get the yummy roll as suggested by my server. He was very attentive & checked in on me, to make sure I was happy. The dragon roll is one of my faves, that eel on top & the sauce. And of course I had to get a fried philly roll! Everything was fresh and the place is inviting. Even the bathroom was nice.

I have no idea why it took us years to come back to this sushi joint. We've been here before, had a nice experience and enjoyed the food but haven't been back since! Well, last night we fixed that. Parking is at the front of the restaurant. Last night was busy so most of their limited spots were taken by the time we left. But at 6 o'clock, there were about 5 spots left. We were immediately seated, unfortunately by some loud group. The place isn't too big so even if you're seated farther away from a certain crowd, unless you're outside, you're bound to hear them. Our waiter brought us some water immediately and we placed our order consisting of 4 rolls: yummy, rainbow, cherry blossom, and one with cream cheese and tuna. I can't remember what it was called but my husband picked it and it was actually very good. We started with a seaweed salad for me and a miso soup for hubby. I had originally wanted some squid salad but they were out. About 2 minutes after our starters were delivered, came the sushi rolls! Impressively quick especially since the place was busy. We enjoyed all the rolls we selected and ate every last one of them. The fish pieces on top of the rainbow roll were plentiful. Service was nice. They were able to keep up despite the number of patrons versus 2 wait staff. The only time we waited was for our check to come. More people started coming in and between seating people, bringing orders to tables, etc. it did end up causing a bit of a delay. If you haven't yet, check out this place! Their sushi is good and their prices are reasonable.

Very cute place! If you were looking for somewhere new to try sushi definitely make your way to this little spot. The staff is super friendly and the decorations inside of the restaurant make for a wonderful atmosphere for a sushi date! I ordered take out here and the sushi was fresh and made quickly, I got their veggie roll and their fried Philly for a great price and had a wonderful experience ordering and meeting a few members of the staff. I'm just bummed I never knew about this place sooner! Once more- I would definitely recommend visiting if you want a soothing atmosphere and fresh sushi!

First sushi restaurant near me. Very small space and not that much parking out front but definitely worth it. We were greeted by everyone once we walked in got sat down right away. Justin was our server he was awesome helped us pick out what we were looking for. Also he was super nice didn't rush us and made sure we were good the whole time we were there. The restaurant looked very clean and the food was great!

So much food for an amazing price & it was delicious. I would Forsure go back! The inside is super cute & intimate, the waitress was super helpful given that I am gluten free.

The BEST sushi experience I have had in STL??? Thanks to the fantastic service. Actually learned some new things about Japanese food and culture, which is something that hasn't happened to me eating out in ages. The waiter was so cool and willing to share knowledge and things to taste, which elevated the entire meal. Truly a special find (which, just think, I only stumbled into because the other place I planned to eat is closed Wednesdays!). Definitely hope to be back sooner rather than later!

This is my go to for sure! Anytime I want awesome sushi, selection and customer service, Sushi Hana is hands down the best in St. Louis! Don't let the unassuming outside facade fool you - inside it's cute, quaint and the staff is top notch! They have some great specials and easily accommodate special requests. All it takes is once and I think you'll be hooked like me!

This place is literally a hole-in-the-wall. Very cozy and warm! My friend and I got the lunch specials which are only $12. I got 4 nigiri sushi and a roll. The fish was fresh and the rice to fish portion was good unlike other places where they put mostly rice. The salmon skin hand roll was so good! It's crunchy, savory topped with sweet eel sauce is just the right balance. Our server was super sweet and very attentive to our food. It was a good experience and will come back again!

While I stood at the bar to peruse the lengthy menu the lady walked near me several times in haste with a notepad prompting my order. It wasn't busy but I felt rushed. I placed the order and watched the order be prepared within a few minutes. When the lady brought the receipt I noticed 15% gratuity was added. Appalling, especially since I wasn't offered water, a seat while I waited, nor was I greeted with a hello, a smile or thanked for coming in. Maybe the automatic gratuity is the very reason for the lack of hospitality here. The lack of hostility is the very reason I will never return. P.S. the sushi was decent. Ours was amazing, she said "we don't fork shame here" I fork shame, but she refused. Good for her! I also ordered a cocktail. I would arrive to Sado just for this cocktail, it had a coconut pillow top, that was reminiscent of a marshmallow. Delightful compliment to my savory dinner.
