Service: 5 stars, food: 3.5 stars. I wanted sushi and found this place via yelp. I didn't read the reviews prior to coming here. The place is small and nice and the people are friendly. They have cheap bento boxes and since I didn't want a ton of food, I ordered the beef bento box. The beef bento box comes with 4 pieces of California roll, teriyaki beef, rice, 3 pieces of tempura which includes 1 shrimp tempura, and salad with your choice of dressing. The portions are a good size for 7.99. Salad was fine. The tempura was pretty good. I did eat it maybe 30-40 minutes after ordering, but it was still good. The teriyaki beef was a little too salty. The white rice helped balance the salty flavor somewhat. I also ordered a Philadelphia roll and that was pretty good as well. Food seemed fresh. Service was super fast. I would come back next time I'm in the mood for bento box type food. read more

I came here for lunch around 1 o'clock and it was never too busy. There was plenty of parking space in the lot. The customer service was always good. The asked me if I wanted any extra condiments and reminded me to grab some utensils. The bento boxes are so worth it! I got the teriyaki chicken plate which came with chicken rice, a side salad, 4 CA roll pieces, and some tempura. The chicken wasn't dry at all and you also got the option to choose which type of salad you wanted. I was also able to ask for all vegetable tempura. I love the CA rolls and the tempura as well. It tasted pretty fresh and not like it was sitting out. This place is definitely worth trying if you're looking for a cheap and quick lunch. :) read more

I give this place a very well earned 3.5 stars. I got the beef teriyaki lunch plate that came with salad, half a California roll, and tempura. The teriyaki was marinated well so if you like to add teriyaki sauce to your meat you won't need much if any. For the salad you get your choice of 3 plus a choice of around 5-6 salad dressings. The tempura was ok and had its own dipping sauce. Inside the place was clean and the service was pretty quick. I'm sure I'll be back again read more

They open at 10:00AM which was convenient for me because I was going to pick up food and have an early lunch with my friend who works down the street. I came here yesterday to pick up lunch to go. My friend wanted Beef Teriyaki ($6.50) and I decided to go with Chicken & Beef Teriyaki ($6.50). I added the 4-pieces of California Roll for an added $2.50 to our meals. It also came with a side salad and there were a few dressing to pick from. With tax, our total was $19.58. The man who took my order had a Korean accent so I asked him if they were Korean and immediately he seemed to warm up to me. My husband is half so I used a few of the Korean words I knew. LOL My to-go order was ready within 5 minutes. I thought both the beef and chicken teriyaki were pretty good. Next time I would ask for the sauce on the side though because there was too much for my liking. He did give me the option to put it on the side and I should have went with it! I used to come here pre-pandemic and their teriyaki sauce was spot on delicious. I loved ordering the chicken teriyaki plate with mandarin salad & sesame dressing. Just came back here for lunch after many many months, expecting the same great quality I experienced before but something changed. The chicken seemed bland. The teriyaki sauce was dull. It was slightly more gelatinous. It lacked the sweetness and pow it previously had. So sad because this was once one of my favorite places nearby. The most horrible place I've been in a while. The girls at the front SUCK. They need customer service improvement. Never going back. The cashier asked the customer before me if all the plates they made were his... customer obviously says YES. They change ladies and found out that the guy was getting an extra plate... MINE! The lady worker pulls it out of his bag after he already chose my salad type and dressing and packs it in a new bag! That's right ! The customer before me chose my items... what if i have sever allergies, the ladies didn't even ask me if I was ok with what was on my plate?!?! I'm on lunch so mind you the wait was so long that I'm already late back to work! I get to work to find out they didn't even Give me a damn fork and napkin!! I wanted to call and raise hell but the plate was 5$ and wasn't worth my time. Really good sushi at a reasonable price. They have lots of variety, from $9 bento boxes to $6 rolls and rice dishes. It's a great place for people to go during lunch break, especially on a nice day where people can sit outside. I've tried the spicy tuna, the crunch (tempura shrimp), and the salmon rolls, which are delicious. I've been coming here about once a month for the past year since it is close to my work and the food is good. I usually order one of their bento specials, which are great price and usually pretty tasty. Occasionally the meat and tempura are hit/miss on portion size and quality, but for the most part it is a good quality meal for a reasonable price. The sushi is good, not of authentic quality but better than what you would get in most grocery stores. The front staff are very friendly and the wait times are not bad. EDIT: They refuse to turn on the AC when it gets hot. This makes me nervous because they have raw fish out and it doesn't look like it is kept at temperature. They premake all of the California Roll and leave it on the counter until they need it. They changed the portions of the Salmon on the Teriyaki Bento and the quality seems to have changed. read more

I know right away what I'm getting when I taste the wasabi. The wasabi was chalky and flavorless. I got the #46 sushi and CA roll. The California roll was decent. The sushi was sub par. The slices are way too thin, especially for the amount of rice and the quality of the fish is low grade. The miso soup was good but for some reason it came after I got my meal. The wait time at noon seemed a little long considering there wasn't a big crowd. Not a place to come to if you have a short lunch period. I luckily was not on a short break this time but another later was upset as she was probably not going to get to actually eat her meal as she only had a 30 lunch break. Reading the bad reviews were really funny. People are such babies. There's obviously s culture divide but these employees are the NICEST people. I've seen him scold a new employee who he was training because she charged my card even though it was under the $5 minimum. And today I ordered a plate of orange chicken and a side of spring rolls. Well hey! This business must have just changed ownership, or at least it changed the name. It's basically the same incarnation of what it was before, which was the Wasabi grill I think? Not sure. Anyways, they have a sushi roll menu and teriyaki menu and roll combo's like the previous establishment. It's not cheap, but they do seem to try to advocate health. They have plenty of salads and options for salad on their menu. The place was clean. I really like it when I can watch the cooks and approve of their cleanliness in prepping the food. Very good menu with lots of selections of teriyaki, udon, seafood, and sushi. To top it all off, the girl taking the orders is hawt. Butterfly tat on the shoulder, young, good looking. I've only come here for lunch and ordered to go a few times. The price isn't that cheap for the quality of food they offer. Doesn't seem like the staff can handle the lunch crowd at times. Not sure if it's due to them being under staff or employees not being efficient. This isn't my fave place to eat but it's OK for what's in the area. read more

Love that you can get lunch specials here all day. Their plates and combos are really good. I like their yakisoba noodles. I'm not a big fan of spicy food but their noodles just have enough heat without being overpowering. I've also had a few of their sushi rolls. I'm no sushi expert but what I've had is pretty decent. I went with my mom yesterday to pick up food and thank goodness we stayed inside and were able to watch them make our food. An employee while making the sushi cut his finger and started bleeding and didn't even change his glove or clean the knife and still continued to cut and serve the sushi to us. I confronted the employee and asked for sushi, and he went to the back and I heard them argue and sound anger. Another person came out I'm assuming the manager/owner and he started making the new sushi and in the few words exchange we had he was EXTREMELY rude to me.
