    Delicious chicken fried rice
    Jessica A.

They have such a great selection of noodles and food dishes. They are always busy, but cook everything very fresh! Great atmosphere overall and the customer service is always great. They have a tight staff, but I'm always willing to be patient as i see them working hard to get all the food orders out! Food is delicious! Great little spot to enjoy a variety of dishes!

    Filet mignon with tomato rice.

Long overdue review. I ordered the filet mignon with tomato rice. Delicious. The portions are huge and in today's market the price is very reasonable. The service is great. The lady put little ice on my Thai tea as my request. The inside is clean.

Such a comforting meal and so quickly provided with a great attention to high quality! Lots of seating indoors and so many menu options to choose from, I recommend the beef noodle plate for sure

This noodle house has been around for a while and it's our go to when we are craving pho. I actually get the wonton noodle soup with egg noodle and my husband gets the pho with a side of egg rolls. My daughter is a picky eater and with Kaiju's wide selection, it's easy for her to find something to eat. This visit, she tried the seafood boil! Never ordered it until last night and we were surprised at how good it was. Will definitely order it again.

Regular size is plenty! This is the veggie pho w/ beef broth and was $11.99 as of 11/2/23

Ok, this'll be my final review from here as this will be my final time coming here. Good lord have the prices sky rocketed!! My latest pickup order was my usual #40 veggie pho and kimchi fried rice. It was $32 and the portions have gone way down! Why? There was no meat and it most likely cost about $4 to make everything in my order. It's so frustrating after coming here for years. Alas, it's time to move on!

Saddest, blandest beef chow fun I've ever had. No sauce, just oil.

I've been intrigued about trying this place since it opened a couple of years ago. Last time we peeked in to look at the menu when we were craving Cajun, it was abundantly clear they didn't serve any Cajun food at all despite their neon sign outside saying "Kaiju Noodle & Cajun." For that reason, we didnt come back or even intend to come back since I have dedicated Korean and Vietnamese places for kimchi fried rice and pho respectively. Fast forward to today and I decide on a whim to stop by and try the beef chow fun thanks in part to another picture of it that's posted here on Yelp. Needless to say, that other picture is extremely misleading. First, it did not come with bok choy as claimed and shown in the other picture. Second, it came almost utterly devoid of sauce and consequently had zero flavor other than the taste of plain beef, rice noodle, and copious amounts of oil. Last complaint which isn't exactly clear from the picture is the portion is extremely small for the money. This came up to $16.XX after tax and had to have weighed less than 1lb. Maybe the other food is better or maybe the cook was just having an off night, but I was not impressed.

It came with some glass noodles but we felt like adding the udon noodles was necessary. The broth tasted rich, spicy, and had an umami flavor to it. It was packed with fresh ingredients and they all complimented the hot pot. It came with a sweet and tangy sauce on the side which complimented the meat (brisket). 9.3/10 If you're in the area, give them a try. The happy hour menu is good value, having different tier items ranging from $1, $3, $6, and $9. Pork Belly Yakitori definitely ranked as one of the best items also being priced at only $1/skewer. Also enjoyed the chicken heart too but this was just off the regular menu. Cheese corn tasted great but I think I'd only get it at the happy hour price since its normal price at $7.95 just feels a bit steep. Takoyaki was just ok. Flavor was there but really didn't feel fluffy like takoyaki is supposed to be. Overall, this was a pretty decent skewer option for the area. Ended up coming back multiple times with food quality being consistent and it never being too crowded on any given day of the week.

So yummy and amazing staff!!…read more The restaurant was packed around 7pm, but didn't have to wait too long to get seated. Combo: BBQ Beef Ribs and Tofu Soup (combination tofu soup) ($31.99 dinner price) This was ready in 8 minutes. They both arrived to the table sizzling hot. The beef rib piece I tried was thick and super tender and juicy!! Korean Veggie Pancake ($6.99 for a whole piece) It was good! Pretty big. It's on the thinner side though. Wish it was crispier. Not too oily! Combo: Hot Stone Bibimbap and Tofu (beef tofu) ($25.99 dinner price) Super fresh! Huge serving size and sizzling hot! Big portion size! This one took longer to be ready - approximately 15 min. When they brought the dish, they explained how much sauce to add and how to eat it. I added gochujang sauce like she suggested and then mixed everything. It was so good with all the side dishes added for more flavor and taste! There is also a bottle is sesame oil to add to taste. The soup also came boiling hot - added the raw egg while still boiling. The bibimbap and soup don't have a lot of beef. There was lots of tofu however. At one point it got a bit smoky in the whole restaurant from the cooking in the kitchen. Hope ventilation can be improved. It subsided pretty quickly. The staff members are super friendly! The young lady was so nice to check on my table twice to see if we needed more side dishes. Even when it was only a couple minutes left til closing time, she kindly told me not to rush to finish my food. A customer even walked in approximately 10 minutes before closing and one of the ladies still let her in to sit down to order. That's awesome customer service!! Love that they use cardboard to-go containers! It's a big pricey especially for dinner, but I would definitely come back!

Not for those looking to lower their cholesterol, though thats for sure. Its quite hearty but the flavors are delicious. If you like tonkatsu, this resembles it a bit due to the thick broth. - Kai don: this was also good. Portion was good but will say not all item are good. Stick to their top 3 on the menu. - cluck2go: one of my family's favorite hainan chicken spot. We usually get it from the Pasadena location though. - aqua fresca and vitacane juice bars are also very refreshing! - Filipino owned bake shop is also delicious, usually buy to take home as a sweet treat later. - Beignets: cooked hot to order...oh the powdery goodness!! - Georgies Mediterranean: Fastest service as I have never been to a fast Mediterranean spot. When i got the chicken shawarma i was skeptical from the looks of it. Didn't too too appetizing but when i took a bite, oh the flavors were there. Different regions have their own twist. This had loads of flavors and spice and more curry to it. If you like curry, you will enjoy this. Seats: Place is huge and plenty of spaces. Outdoor is relaxing where the kids can roam Cost/Variety: A bit more costly then a typical restaurant but most food halls do cost more. However, compared to other food halls i had been to, this is a bit on lower end of cost then a few others plus do have more options on food choices which i like. Ambience: Generally good but compared to others I have been to, i would like a small kid play area. Like arcade games or even bag toss, a climbing mall gym like corner or giant connect four etc. that would make it complete.
