1 STAR Extremely disappointed with Sushi Kingdom tonight. We've been regular customers here for a long time, and the owner knows us well, which honestly made tonight's experience that much worse. We came in around 6:30 PM on a Saturday and the restaurant was basically empty. You would think with hardly anyone there, the customer service would at least be decent. Instead, our waitress, an older Asian lady with red hair, had a horrible attitude from the beginning and made us feel completely unwelcome. What really got me was how everything was handled afterward. The chef could clearly tell I was upset and even asked the owner if she wanted to come talk to us. She didn't. She knew who we were, knew something was wrong, and still didn't take a minute to come over and ask what happened or try to make things right. I even ordered a drink and was so irritated with the experience that I didn't even touch it. We've supported this restaurant many times, so I never expected to be treated like this. I understand that bad service can happen anywhere, but when the owner knows a regular customer is clearly unhappy and doesn't even bother to acknowledge the situation, that says a lot. Definitely not how you treat loyal customers and not how you handle a business. Very disappointing experience. read more

This place used to be good. I hardly leave any bad reviews, but had to on this place. We've been coming here since they opened this location. During the pandemic we used to buy here once a week. Today I decided to try their Chirashi. They gave me such a little amount of sashimi that it fit in my hand & I have small hands!! The amount of rice was over a pound of it. Sure, the presentation was pretty, but very deceiving. I paid $24.99 plus tax's for basically a bowl of white rice! I called twice to talk to someone and was told the person in charge would call me back, but she never did. The food here is absolutely delicious! The salmon completely melts in your mouth, and both the rolls and appetizers are incredibly fresh. My absolute favorite is the Lemon Paradise, but the Cherry Blossom is also super good and the Orange Blossom was absolutely delicious! On top of the amazing food, the restaurant has a relaxing, super welcoming atmosphere. We're new to the area and were really hoping to find our go-to sushi spot, especially since we eat sushi often and typically spend around $150 a week. We placed a large order today for 8 people the same order we get everywhere and specifically asked for eel sauce and spicy mayo. When we got home, we realized the sauces weren't included (only enough for maybe two people). My husband called, and at first we were told our order doesn't come with spicy mayo. Then shortly after, they called back and said the person who took the order didn't hear us. While we appreciate the follow up apology, this was a pretty big miss for a large order. Sauces are a basic part of the experience, especially when they're requested. Unfortunately, this kind of mistake makes it hard to come back.
