The portions are generous, the protein selection is incredibly fresh, and there are plenty of options to customize your bowl exactly how you want it. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, and the flavors were outstanding. What really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. The dining area, ordering station, and overall atmosphere were spotless and well maintained. The staff was also friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service from the moment we walked in. Another bonus is that they have a beer and wine bar, which is a nice touch if you're looking to enjoy a drink with your meal. Fresh ingredients, large portions, great service, clean environment, and reasonable prices, it's hard to ask for more. We'll definitely be coming back regularly. Great spot by the Ontario Airport for fresh poke bowl if you're craving it! It's located in the same shopping plaza as Costco Business Center - next door to a Starbucks. Plenty of parking! Neat little spot that was recommended by the staff at the hotel I was staying in for a few days across the street. Service was prompt and efficient. The friendly gal that was helping me was super patient as I was browsing their menu, before settling on Build-Your-Own and just getting as close to the same toppings as I usually get at my usual poke spots back in Orange County. Portions were generous - I got my usual 3 scoops of Salmon - the fish tasted fresh and didn't have any smell to it. Masago, green onions, crabmeat, seaweed salad, and edamame. The sauces were good - I just went with Sesame oil and spicy mayo (my usual go-to sauces). Everything tasted fresh - and the regular (3 scoops of protein) was the perfect size for me. I did knock off a star because the sushi rice tasted a bit dry though. It's a hit or miss with how some places maintain the moisture in their rice - I came right around dinner time, so the rice should've been more fresh. Normally, if I were eating this at home or work - I'd just add some of my own sesame oil to soften the rice - but didn't have neither of that since I was visiting the area. Plenty of indoor seating! What's neat is there is a Bar that is part of the interior - so you can grab a beer or whatever with your poke. read more

Let me start by saying that the food itself is good, no problem there! But whatever system they have in place needs a lot of work. I placed an online order at 11:35, with it being "ready" around 11:55. I get there at 12 and was kindly greeted by the employees. I let the employee know at the register that I had an order placed and they said that it'll be ready in 15 mins. They hadn't even started the order! I get the whole lunch rush but c'mon, to not even start an order that was placed 30 mins ago??? Crazy work. Anyways, I sit down to wait for my order and I see numerous people going in and out and they receive their orders?? Whatever, I'm not making any assumptions on their order times. A few mins pass by and a man by the name of Brian calls at 12:10. He mentions that he's the owner of the business and was updating me on the status of the order. Paraphrasing here but said, "We are a little backed up right now, your order will be ready in 20-30 mins. Also we're out of shrimp, so what protein would you like instead?" Y'all took forever on my order AND you ran out of shrimp?? Wow. Gave him my replacements and told him that I had been waiting here already. He was friendly and gave his apologies but seriously, how do you run out of shrimp at a Poke place? Lol I waited another 10-15 mins and at this point, I was regretting placing an order in the first place. Unfortunately, I had clocked out for lunch so I was late back for that too. I go up to the register and ask for my order. They handed it to me bagged already. The employees had finished the order but they didn't call my name out or anything. To top it off, they forgot the utensils. Even after I asked for them in the order AND for "regular" size bowls, they looked pretty void of ingredients. All in all, my order was ready and in my hands at 12:30. It's unfortunate because I've never had any bad experience here, but today left a bad taste in my mouth. This spot is hands down the best poke bowl places I've been to! The create your own option is fantastic. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, with generous portions and so many topping choices to customize exactly how you like it. The service really stood out. There was a young gentleman working this day who went out of his way to explain how to order and even recommended some great combinations that made my bowl even better. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he deserves all the credit for why me and my family had such a great experience. The space was spotless and welcoming. To a nice surprise, they even have beer on tap which pairs perfectly with poke. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the boba drinks. I tried the mango and Thai tea but both tasted watered down. Wow did I get lucky stumbling into this place! I saw it had high ratings & knew I needed to check it out across from my hotel. Not only was the fish and ingredients so fresh, the flavor profiles were incredible. I loved that they offer different spice levels depending on your taste. I have never seen that specifically offered in the sauce concoctions they create per bowl. I also opted for a spam musubi which I greatly enjoyed. The rice mixture was wonderful, sticky, and delicious. The service was exceptionally friendly & I was glad to have had such a pleasant conversation with the person assisting me. I usually come here before shopping at the Costco business warehouse next door. The place is busy with office workers from nearby. They also have beer on tap as well as boba drinks. I got the small with 2 scoops of protein ($14.95). They have sushi rice, brown rice, tortilla chips, and salad for the base. They have a good amount of fresh fish such as salmon, ahi tuna, shrimp, spicy tuna, tofu, yellowtail, and octopus. I got spicy tuna and salmon with white sushi rice and salad with seaweed, masago, onions and cucumbers, pickled ginger, wasabi with their spicy poke sauce and unagi sauce. They weren't heavy handed so the ingredients were not soggy. The seafood tasted fresh and the portion was a good size. The staff was quick on refilling the utensil area. This is your average poke spot. When I went it was very empty so I was a tad skeptical but decided to give it a shot anyways. I appreciated the kind, fast service but was not very impressed by the food itself. This spot is a tad overpriced in my opinion for the amount that you are getting. I liked the quality of the fish but also did not have many of the toppings I usually get at other poke spots. Toppings wise I pretty much put in everything hahah except for wasabi. The amount of protein you get in your order is just the perfect amount! Not too little and not TOO much! It was literally covering the chips that I almost can't see it! It didn't taste fishy or not fresh, it was definitely fresh! I also got one of their on tap beers, and they happen to have one of my favored from Kona brewing, Longboard is a good go to! Also the price point with their pints is pretty fair! This place has a lot less variety of toppings which was a disappointment for me. Pros: Good quantity of protein for a small bowl. Vegetables are 50 cents extra and avocado is $1.50 extra. The food was good, but I left there still feeling a bit hungry for more. I compare this place to other poke bowls and it just didn't meet my expectations. I've been wanting to try this place out since they opened & finally decided to try it since I was next door grabbing coffee. The place is very spacious. There are a lot of seats for you to enjoy your meal. I ordered the 2 scoop bowl for $14.95. I'm not sure how the system is in preparing the bowls. I noticed the first few people ahead of me had one person helping them prepare their bowl, so someone from the back came out to help me (I didn't get a name, but she had dark hair & facial piercings). She helped me at the first station with my base & mix. She seemed kind of rude, because it was kind of loud in there I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. For my base I asked for light rice & she kept adding more after I told her to stop (I guess she couldn't hear me either). After she put the base, protein & sauce in the mixing bowl she just left & said the other girl is going to help me. She didn't even mix it! She seemed annoyed! Luckily the next girl (with pink hair) helping me made up for the horrible start of service I received. I noticed they have fewer topping selections from what I've seen at other places, but that really didn't bother me because I usually don't get much toppings. I didn't add drizzle since I normally don't on my poke, but the girl recommended it, so she gave me some on the side. When I got home to enjoy my meal, I'm glad she recommended the sauce on the side. It brought out that umami flavor. My only negative is that I had more base (rice) than I did protein (which is why I usually ask for less rice). Came here to try their poki bowl for my first time today since I saw their grand opening a while back and have been wanting to try this place out! I have always drove pass this place and they always seemed pretty slow. Today I ordered their 2 protein bowl with 1/2 brown rice and 1/2 salad. For the protein I chose salmon and yellowtail. I have tried other poki places before since I am a big fan of it, but this place didn't really seem to impress me. First of all, they should use a bigger box to hold everything together. It was a mess eating through a small bowl. Second, I feel like they give less portion than other places with the price they charge. I placed an online order for two poke bowls and two musubi. When I arrived, the bowls were already made and sitting out--but the musubi wasn't ready. I was told it would take another 10-15 minutes. I waited patiently, but after 15+ minutes, I asked if the bowls could be remade since they'd been sitting unrefrigerated the entire time and contain raw fish. The employee said they don't remake bowls, even though they normally refrigerate them if there's a delay--which they didn't. I asked to speak to the manager, and the owner got on the phone. I explained my concern about food safety and asked why the bowls were made before everything else was ready. His response? "That's how we do it." He claimed the fish is kept at 40°F in storage, so it's fine to sit out for an extended period. He also said they normally refrigerate the bowls if there's a delay--but again, they didn't. Instead of remaking the bowls, the owner instructed the employee to refund me--and to keep the food. I walked out with nothing. This experience was unacceptable. The owner clearly prioritizes his bottom line over customer service and food safety. If you're not picking up your food immediately, don't expect them to remake anything or handle delays responsibly. If the owner is reading this: everything I've stated is 100% accurate. You can dispute it all you want, but these are the facts. A partial refund or fresh bowls would've been a reasonable solution. Instead, you chose to deny the food, keep the product, and lose a customer. I'll be informing all my friends, family, and extended network to avoid your establishment entirely. read more
