There was way less food than normal. The new container that they use holds less food, so it was less filling. The food was done in about 10 minutes and it was hot and fresh. I did not eat inside the restaurant but it appeared to be clean. The person that took the order was pleasant and nice.

    pho with chicken and brisket

this place is SUPER stingy with the tiny packets of hoisin they give for a full bowl of pho and meat. i asked for more and they only gave two. the broth could be way better as well, nothing like the pho places in DC, crofton and wheaton. i'd rather drive 30 mins away and get good pho with ample sauce than fight with the underpaid cashiers about tiny packets of sauce (which you have to pay extra for!)

Spicy Hawaiian Bowl- looks ok, but the salad is bad. Also asked for the sauce and toppings to be on the side....clearly not.

Overall the food looks and tastes good. Had a bento box, two hibachi orders, and the spicy Hawaiian bowl. The spicy bowl looked the worst with the salad being old and not fresh.

    Spicy Salmon Roll

The food is horrible and complete mush. Sushi rice was over-cooked and mushy. The filling of the sushi is mushy. The fried rice isn't the standard version either. They just went ahead and gave us brown rice that tasted like plastic. The teriyaki sauce is slimy and was all around the other food areas. Customer service wasn't too welcoming either. They are overpriced and selling below $10 quality food.

Hello, my name is Unique and I'm addicted to Pokè. Unfortunately, this time at SH&P, my itch was not scratched and the customer service seems to have declined. There are about 15 signs in and around the place advertising sushi burritos. When I proceeded to order one, the person taking my order informed me "sushi burrito no more", disappointed I opted for the Hawaiian breeze bowl. Before I got my bowl, I noticed a A man behind the counter in dark shades and a grimace. He was angry and speaking rather rudely to the other staff. I'm really big on the customer experience and it's not at all appropriate to reprimand staff in front of customers. This same sunglass wearing man angrily made my bowl. Needless to say this bowl was not made with love. I watched him closely and he seemed to just be slamming seaweed and angrily squirting eel sauce on my bowl. The bowl left much to be desired. Loaded with bland white rice and lacking fish, I was pretty underwhelmed. Uninteresting flavor profile, and mostly a rice bowl. I suggest an update to the signs and menu to more accurately reflect what's offered. I also suggest homeboy with the glasses to take a chill pill.

Yummo yum. I have been waiting for this place to open. Like, seriously. I saw that it was opening soon and got uber excited! Easy peasy location in Largo Plaza. I believe it is where the old shoe store used to be (am I dating myself?) Either way it is pretty open inside with a good amount of seats, wherever you sit there is place to watch tv. They have a section where you are able to see the sushi being made in addition to them cooking on the grill. The menu is fairly large in size for a fast casual place. They have teriyaki, hibachi, bento boxes, sushi, sushi burritos, poke bowls, and dessert. Each of these selections have various choices of meat selections. It was explained to me that the teriyaki choices are slightly smaller. Not my fave- the up-charge for: fried rice, noodles, yum yum sauce, etc. But, I suppose I understand. I got the chicken and steak hibachi with noodles. This meal was huge! Much bigger than what I expected and what I received from a comparison joint. Also, the steak actually resembled steak, rather than that chopped meat like substance that you can get from other places. The best part, leftovers! There is no way you can finish this portion in one sitting and everyone knows that hibachi taste better after the sauces can sit in overnight and flavor it up. Prices are slightly higher than the closest comparable fast casual hibachi, but the quality is way better. Also, I didn't notice a loyalty (buy 5 get one free or get half off) catd type of thing. Regardless, I'm going back! I've got lots more to try!

Right: 2 spring rolls--wouldn't recommend. Left: Hawaiian Breeze poke (spicy tuna, salmon & ahi tuna)--not great, not bad.

Not a bad place for a quick poke bowl fix. It's not the best fish (freshness) by any means but you definitely get a good portion for what you pay for. If this is your first time trying poke, I'd say go for it. If poke is your favorite food, I would look for something else.

This place DOES NOT serve Poke bowls like it is listed here on Yelp. This is a hibachi and pho place. Disappointed.

This place is now like a Panda Express. The food looks to have been sitting out for hours and they won't allow you to sample.

I have mine just with the chicken but it normally comes with chicken and shrimp. The presentation is very nice and it comes out quickly. They have a large bar area with tons of drinks to choose from. I am a bourbon guy and they have a great selection. I will be back. Now for the slightly negative. The cell service in here is TERRIBLE!!! You really have no choice but to use their wifi if you need to stay in touch with the real world. The drinks are kinda expensive but a pro tip is to join their loyalty program and get money off your next visit. I do that and it brings the price down. All in all a great spot that I love to visit both early and late night.

My sister and I decided to have our last dinner there before the restaurant closes on August 30th…read more So, we went back and forth deciding which Amuse (appetizer) to start with; which was a challenge. But we settled on the Deviled Eggs Crispy: topped with fried shrimp and bacon jam. Then for our entrée she ordered the Seared Sea Scallops over Crab Risotto, and I ordered the Braised Oxtails with Chuck Rice & Plantains. All I have left to say is "some good eating". Let me add some of the dishes that others around me ordered looked out of this world as well; Deep-Fried Snapper with African Gravy, Jerk-Braised Short Ribs with Curry Pea Risotto, and Teriyaki Tomahawk with Miso Butter just to name a few, looked amazing. When I looked at what they ordered and I looked at my order I was wondering the same thing for both of us; we are going to need a doggie bag because there is no way we could eat all this food in one sitting. It's bittersweet to see Chef Tobias leave. However, I think I speak for those in the DMV in saying thank you for serving such high-quality food and for being a true beacon in the community. Your restaurant has brought people together, created lasting memories, and made a meaningful impact that will not be forgotten. Though you are relocating to Florida I'm wishing you continued success as you begin this next chapter in another state. The same success the DMV brought you I pray for an even greater level of success in Miami along with the recognition you deserve. In my travels if I'm in Miami, I certainly will look you up. Now, typically I would end this review by saying the next time you're in the area please be sure to visit. But I say this with extreme urgency 'RUN DON'T WALK OR STROLL" because they will be closing after next week.

My wife and I had heard of honcho house for a while and had planned to visit. Today we finally made…read morethe decision to try it out. And to say it was underwhelming would be an understatement. I mean this experience might have been worse than the season finale of game of thrones. My wife ordered the oxtails and green jollof rice. First off, the rice tasted like wet grass. The oxtail was a sad excuse for oxtail. For context my wife is Caribbean so I've had my share of delicious oxtail, their oxtail tasted like they simply didn't even try. Now let's get to my food. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu the Steak and Frites. I'll give it to them the frites were pretty decent, but that's where my compliments end. I ordered my steak medium like a decent human being. The first steak came out and tasted like what I imagine an old used tire taste like, it was well done by the way. The next steak that came out 20 minutes later although closer to medium was surprisingly worse. It's was extremely rubbery with zero flavor. All together I would not recommend. The fact they sell this sad excuse for food is baffling. Sincerely, A concerned customer
