    That is the ¿yellowtail sashimi?
    Joe S.

O my worse I've had in a while! Pretty sure they served me swordfish instead of yellowtail and look how this guy cut it couldn't eat it had to spit it out. You tell me is that yellowtail? The roll itself was inconsistent this guy has no business near a sushi bar. I ate one out of six and sh charged me despite my complaint. I paid and tipped my server well, 35% she was sweet and kind. The mean owner charged me for crap sashimi. She claimed she was Korean and knew good Sushi. A good friend of mine is Korean and owns Sakura Sushi in Ojai ca and that's good sushi he would be embarrassed by this and possibly kick her out of the Korean sushi club.

    Smoke

Just don't dine in. The smoke inside is terrible and long wait for drinks and food while you're getting a headache.

Receipt. Good price for sushi. Two rolls for $20

Came here to charge the Tesla and they had sushi just next door. Parking is easy to find in a large lot. The most interesting thing is that they have Korean BBQ and sushi in one place. The sushi hand 50 rolls of all of the US states. It was quite interesting. Ordered a California roll and a Michigan roll.

Large Kirin beer. Perfect complement to sushi.

We came back to try the sushi one more time. We returned only because J. Park contacted us after we had a not-so-great experience last time. Mr. Park was so kind in his response that we decided to come back (after 3 months of reconsidering). We came fairly early and not on Friday-their busy day. Mr. Parks was not in when we arrived but the server helped us with a salmon nigiri, which is my test item. The salmon was thicker than last time and had good flavor. By that time, Mr. Parks came in and was very apologetic about our last experience. He convinced us that the thin pieces in the Chiarashi bowl was not normal and we decided to give it another try. Mr. Parks made it himself. We ordered our regular tall Kirin and hot sake for drinks and shrimp and vegetable tempura. The tempura is good with lots of variety of veggies and large shrimp. The dipping sauce for the tempura was good also. The Chiarashi comes with miso soup and a salad. The miso had little pieces of tofu and nothing else-but it had a good flavor. The salad was a small bowl but filled with mixed lettuce and cucumber with a decent dressing. The Chiarashi was in a large box with the sashimi in the top and the bottom filled with sushi rice with sesame seeds. The top was filled with sashimi and the fish was a nice thickness and good flavor and variety. I selected a roll to see what that was all about. The Rainbow roll is under the state of Wyoming on the 50 states menu. The fish for the rolls is precut and super thinly sliced and, therefore, a bit dry. The roll had a sauce that tasted, to me, like a vinagrette. I don't usually get Rainbow rolls so I'm not sure what is the normal sauce. It was ok. I would skip the roll and have the Chiarashi bowl. Mr. Park brought a Himachi nigiri for us for our problem last time. It was good with a nice slice of himachi on it. It was so nice of him. The service was excellent tonight and the servers we worked with were extremely helpful. The sushi chef was excellent and funny, as well, though quiet. The owner, Mr. Parks, is really nice who cares about customers. The prices are definitely higher than San Diego but it takes extra work and cost to get good quality fish out here and they don't sell the quantity that places in SD. But we are thrilled that there is a sushi restaurant in El Centro. And we are happy to say we will be back! Hopefully, they can get another star for that visit. Thank you Mr. Park for bringing us back!

Came here on a weekday night. Food here was pretty good. We got the jalapeño popper stuffed with tuna, tuna sushi. Yellowtail sushi and salmon egg sushi. Two pho soups. And ice cream sandwiches. The pho was pretty fresh, considering the fact that it is in the valley. ID give that a 4 star. The sushi here was okay, not too fresh but it didn't give us diarriah neither. I'd give that a 3 star. Service here was fantastic, our waiter Andy was very attentive and informative. The place itself is really cute. It's newly renovated and super clean. SUSHI PARK MOVED NEXT TO THE KBBQ. our fried jalapeño poppers didn't get here until we were done with our dessert. We got that for free. This place did not disappoint. Price is very reasonable and food comes in large portions. Would come back!

    Michigan roll, delicious!

Food: I had the Michigan roll with edamame. Very unique and it is cool that they have 50 different rolls for 50 states. If I lived close, I would need to try all of them... except California because I've had a bunch of those. The only negative I would say is that me and my colleagues plates came out and they were presented really well, unique looking and on fancy plates. But he got an order of gyoza and it was served on a plastic basket. So everything else was all fancy, but the gyoza came out and it wasn't as nice of a presentation. Atmosphere: Its spacious inside, not too crowded and lots of Japanese decorations everywhere. I would have liked if they had cleaned the menus though because they were a little greasy feeling. Price: Not a bad price, middle of the road I would say. Edamame less than 4$ so that was cool. The coke they served was a long, 16.9oz glass bottle, I didn't even know they made those anymore! Service: Our server was nice, no complaints. Although it took a little while to get her attention, but after that it was all good. Overall: Like I said, I would totally come back here to try more rolls. Very cool little place in El Centro. If I come back through to go to Mexicali, I will stop here again.

I really don't know why this place has a lower rating. Looking at the yelp reviews, we were skeptical to go here but it was close to our hotel and we did not want to eat mexican food for dinner again. So we decided to give it a try. And am glad we did ! We went on a saturday night, the restaurant was busy but not overly busy. Got a table for two pretty quick. Our server was really a very nice lady. She got us all the different sauces, wasabi, pasta salad (cold) and miso soup. I don't like miso soup, but my friend did and he said it was good. The lady also answered our questions and was helpful in deciding our order. We had edmame, 4 pc Shrimp Tempura, Arizona Roll, Shrimp Fried Rice and Spicy Ramen with Chicken. Everything was delicious. Shrimp tempuras were very good. I really liked that they have a choice of either 4 pc Shrimp tempura or Shrimp + Veggie tempuras unlike many other asian places where they just offer an expensive Shrimp + Veggie tempuras and you are greatly disappointed to see only two shrimp ones in a plateful of veggie tempuras. Arizona roll had cooked crab meat inside the roll but was topped with raw salmon, which was a surprise to me as I didnt remember seeing it on the menu. The roll was pretty good though. We took the left overs in a box and she gave us a couple of packets of various sauces which was really nice. Overall we had a good experience and will visit this place again if we are in El Centro and craving for japanese food. To all those complaining about the food being pricey, I don't know any sushi place that is not expensive in US. Sushis are super expensive everywhere, not just this restaurant. So when I go to a sushi place, I am mentally prepared to shell out some money. And if you have a big appetite, then in my opinion you shouldn't go to a sushi place the day you are starving!

Table seating only; no booths. * Menu is accessed by scanning a QR code. Personally, I prefer a physical menu so I can see everything at once instead of being on my phone during dinner. * Service was slow with only one waitress working. Long waits for drinks, ordering, and follow-up service. * Lemonade was disappointing--very bitter and tasted more like watered-down lemon juice. * Sushi rolls looked good and were decent overall. * Udon bowl was huge but only filled about - 1/2 of the way. Portion size didn't match the price. Taste was okay, but the kid said hes had way better. The fish cakes were definitely the highlight. * Tempura was good, but I was disappointed because the menu description led me to expect something different than what was served. * Spicy salmon hand roll was just okay. * After mentioning confusion about my order, our waitress never checked back, refilled drinks, or followed up with our table. * Asked about available discounts (military, AAA, etc.) and was quickly told no before I could finish asking. * Best part of the evening? The adorable baby at the table next to us who provided the only entertainment. Overall: The food was average with a few highlights, but the slow and inattentive service significantly impacted the experience. We still left a tip, but unfortunately, I don't think we'd rush back.

The ONLY reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because of my service. She was attentive, helpful, and kind. Overall, I found the dining options in the whole Imperial Valley to be limited and also very pricey which I find to be insane for one of the more impoverished parts of California. I guess these restaurants can charge what they do because of the limited options, lack of competition and the distance they have to travel to bring the food here. I was happy that the pho at Sushi & Noodle is actually pretty good! They also had all the typical additions to pho (bean sprouts, basil, lime, onions, cilantro, sriracha and hoisin sauce) which was very much appreciated! I definitely had worse in more populated areas with more competition. I opted to get the beef pho in the large size which I believe came out to $17.99. With tax and tip it was around $23 which is a tad pricey. They have a Combination Pho which already comes in a large and also comes with Beef, Shrimp and Chicken for $18.99 which probably would have been a better value. They do have quite an extensive menu and would return the next time I camp out in the Slabs!
