There is no other place in the valley that can offer the variety of different Asian foods that this place offers (Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese) all in one place. Pho at a sushi place? Doesn't sound like it would be a hit, but it was! I was super hesitant to try it at first but glad that I finally did. The rice noodles were perfect. The meat is cooked thoroughly, not rare like at most pho joints. I can't say much for their chicken or shrimp pho because I've yet to try it, but their beef pho is good. They even give you the little plate with sliced jalapeño, bean sprouts, basil, onion, cilantro and lime wedges. And of course they bring out the Sriracha and hoisin sauce. It was my first time at this sushi place. The service was good and the food was ok. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, but the chicken was Very Dry! When I told the waitress to set my food to go, I asked for an extra teriyaki sauce as the chicken was dry - the waitress ignored my comment and walked away. I did get the extra sauce to go though!! The manager apparently is a server and the manager. She is the worst waitress I have ever encountered. We went on a Friday night. I understand Friday is busy, but it took 15 minutes to get water our order was rushed and then thrown on the table. I was so annoyed. Food was gross. I asked to speak to the manager which was my waitress and she said sorry next time better service. Yea I totally want to gamble another 50.00 on your realization of common sense. What a moron, why would I return and hope you realize just because you have tables available doesn't mean you have the staff to ensure quality service. I went prepared to like Sushi Park, but this is a very subpar Japanese restaurant: - Very poor cuts of fish-- gristly and fatty. - Miso and gyoza were each extremely, overpoweringly salty. - No wasabi or ginger are provided with sushi unless you ask for it (never experienced that before). - One of our sushi rolls came covered in sriracha(!)-- I enjoy sriracha as much as anyone else, but on sushi? - Would be overpriced even if the food was of acceptable quality. - Waitress was ignorant of sushi and didn't seem to know anything about Japanese food. - Ambience was poor (but typical for the Imperial Valley); they had some Top-40 pop station playing overly loud (commercials and all-- you can't at least put on a Pandora stream or something?), with multiple flat-screen TVs playing random channels for no apparent reason. read more

Tonight I ordered here and was crazing delicious ramen. I'm pretty picky when it comes to ramen. Especially because I make really good homeade ramen with vegetables and fresh chicken broth and sometimes I add curry. Anyways, I didn't want to make tonight because I just wanted to eat and go to bed right after and not have the hassle of making it and cleaning up after. So I order a spicy ramen with tofu and I also order a spicy tuna tempura. I got home and the ramen was very plain very small portions of tofu and very little broth. I took my first bite and to be quite honest it lack flavor. I had to add a lot of siracha and lime and it still didn't really make a difference. I'm really disappointed. Then I got to my sushi and it was pretty good and had lots of flavor even though the sushi rice and tempura was falling apart as I ate it. So far so good. Until I got to the last 4 pieces of my sushi they did not have tuna only tempura. Only 3 pieces of my sushi had tuna! Are you kidding me? I eat sushi all the time and this is a first. And they charge $6.50 to $8.00 for sushi! Come on, the least you can do is deliever all of the ingredients the sushi must have. I will not be coming again. This is not my first time here and it will be my last. Too many disappointments. read more

I don't know but I feel the food is not fresh. There's something stinky about their shrimp. I order the spicy ramen soup and you only get 3 shrimp and it smelled just weird. Finally a place to get pho in the Valley! Seriously you can't get this anywhere else other than San Deigo or Palm Springs; Yuma doesn't have any pho I've looked. Having said that the only type of pho they offer is cooked beef so hopefully they will expand their menu to rare steak, meatballs and tendon. Its a large size and will fill you up. They need to just leave a bottle of Sriracha on the table though. As mentioned in the reviews the staff is local and not as familiar with the food, you'll need to ask for hosin and Sriracha sauce. Having said that they do have both bottles on right next to each other, so no problems. The sushi is okay, but in Imperial Valley Japanese Kyoto restaurant is better for authentic sushi. Sushi Park does fusion rolls well, like the Georgia roll that has jalapenos, cream cheese and cilantro. One thing though is they don't automatically give you wasibi or ginger, you have to ask for it. I wish they would train the wait staff to ask when you order sushi if you want wasibi and ginger (I do) and save both me and the server the extra trip to get it. All in all a good restaurant for a date as they are pretty and clean on the inside. The food is good and they have a variety of different foods to explore. There is something for everyone, even people who say they don't like sushi so bring a mixed group. read more

Best Korean food in town! Granted it's probably the only restaurant in El Centro that serves Korean food. They are disguised as a sushi restaurant. Most of the patrons here will order sushi. Understandable. I for one will probably stick with the Korean food with exception to maybe ramen or the pho bó. I'm sure the sushi is good here but nothing stands out for me. I'm a simple uni chirashi kind of guy. Never the less, come here and enjoy. The water too is good, for El Centro standards that is. There is still a tad aftertaste but it's passable. Sushi Park is the closest restaurant in the entire Imperial Valley that resembles REAL Japanese cuisine. Speaking from experience, one of their ramen dishes tries to authenticate the real thing from Japan but falls short from different angles. Their sushi is good but a little expensive for my liking. My wife loves their Pho but we both agree their meat selection falls very flat compared to other Pho from San Diego. They do carry authentic Japanese soda and their menu is extensive. First time here. Found it in Yelp and was not sure to try it out due the ratings, but didn't feel like driving to Calexico for a better rated place. So I gave it a shot. Food was 'ok'. I ordered calamari tempura as an appetizer and it was a bit chewy. I prefer the calamari to be a bit more fried. I also ordered the Montana roll and the tuna was a bit mushy. I was served a side of soy sauce with fresh jalapeño slices, which I thought was interesting to try, but it turned out to be more spicy than I thought. Overall, I give the food three stars, but since the service was good and fast, the review deserves a four star. If I'm ever in town again, I will most likely not return. Love the sushi. I had the Mississippi and it was great, it came with lots of fried onions and an amazing chipotle sauce. Unfortunately my husband and daughter were not very fond of the food. She had the kids chicken teriyaki with noodles. Although I thought the chicken was fine, I agreed with her on the noodles and ended up throwing it away. My husband ordered the stir fry calimari and asked if it could be made extra spicy meaning extra jalapeños since the dish showed jalapeños. I don't know if they were out of jalapeños because what they did was add extra red sauce and it contained no jalapeños at all. The dish was not hot at all only very acidic and it had tons of onions. He got a lot of food but says it was inedible. He took most of it home but within 10 minutes of walking out he got terrible diarrhea So we just threw the leftovers away, not to mention that the smell of the sauce alone made him sick because of how bad it was. I have gone to this restaurant a few more times and although I find the food good the service needs more training because the waitresses are not familiar with the menu. Although the menu states that rice and salad are to be served with the meals that I have ordered I have had to ask for them. The waitresses are still learning the differences in the foods and condiments but i expect that it will improve with experience....the type of food offered here is new to many in this area so it is only natural that it take some time for the locally hired staff to learn about it. read more

Man the quality of service at sushi park has really gone down. I understand this Corona thing is affecting everyone in some way shape or form by not having dine in but man their take out service is really bad. I haven't been in town for a while being that I work out of state and the first time I ordered was an order messed up ok no biggie figured you'd get something else or a credit and not even that I said ok whatever.
