Wow this place is amazing!! I built a custom bowl and it was delicious! They offer a wide variety of fish (or tofu) to choose from, as well as a bunch of yummy sauces and fresh vegetables. Between my son, husband, and I we tried the tuna, Hawaiian tuna, and salmon and all are delicious!! The fish tasted great, and the vegetables were fresh. Everything was delicious! Cons: - Girl at the front asked what we wanted and cut us off mid sentence. I took my time to answer. Why are you rushing me when no one is behind me? - the scoops. The freaking scoops. Tiny. A joke. I have never felt more offended by a scoop. - owner came by while a Togo order was in front of us and asked if it was ours. We said no. He looked at us like we were lying to him... I can't make this up... - price is outrageous for portions. I came to eat, not for a snack. - pineapple was white. It was not yellow. - ambiance was dead. Seemed like we were unwelcome. So we are and left quick. - fish was... slightly fishy. So. All in all. Stay away. I had the salmon poke bowl and felt like the fish was really fresh. I do feel that the portion size was rather small, 2 scoops of salmon seemed like one scoop compared to other poke spots I've been to. It could be that maybe the server was new too. I ordered whatever and moved on. The food was ok. Not the most amazing poke I've ever had. But not the worst either. There was ALOT of rice in the bowl and the protein scoops are teeny. We grabbed three forks to go with our takeout order and then I clumsily dropped them on my way out. I smiled and apologized since I would need to grab more forks now! I stopped in for lunch today with my employees to celebrate my birthday. I love sushi so I was excited to try this place. Both my employees got poke bowls that they both said they enjoyed. I opted to order a rainbow roll, sadly they didn't really seem pleased that I wanted a sushi roll since they were working bowls for people. Instead they had me pay and then finished taking care of everyone in line first before starting to make my order. I also ordered a mango boba. It took them about 10-15 mins to put together my roll and get me the drink. The drink started off okay, but when I started getting "crunchy" boba pieces I was done with it. I have had many bobas over time and many of them in Japan and this was the first one I have ever had with bad boba. For me this was a waste of the money for the drink. As for the roll, it didn't start out great in that the very first bite literally fell apart (unrolled) in the soy sauce. It went downhill from there in that some of the sashimi pieces on top had a funny fishy taste and smell to it. I rolled the dice and still ate it but I am regretting that decision now since my stomach is hurting a bit. While I had high hopes based on other reviewers, I was definitely let down by this place. I left the review at 3 stars because my employees bowls were good to them, but if you want sushi I would go elsewhere. read more

Stopped for a bowl to go and left underwhelmed. - Base: Asked for half brown/half greens. They were out of brown rice and the white was on the far side of dry. The greens were fresh, but I was only given a teeny handful, not what I was expecting. Sadly, they don't toss the greens with dressing like they do in other places. - Protein: Fine, but not overly generous portions of fish. They don't toss the fish with sauce either, but rather squirt it on top so plan on mixing it around yourself. - Toppings: Nice that you can pick as many as you want, but the options are basic and they dish them out sparingly. I don't mind an up-charge for avocado, but honestly, the two cubes given were silly for a dollar. For $15.82 (including tip) this isn't a place I'd return to, despite the friendly staff. read more

It was fun as they got to pick out their ingredients. Unfortunately after finishing them up they were still hungry. They have been eating like teenage boys lately. I don't know if the portions were extra small because they were little girls, but we paid for a normal bowl. This is one of our favorite places to go grab a quick lunch. The poke bowls are so delicious. I usually get shrimp and spicy crab over half rice half spring mix and then I add all the fixings on top. I'm a big spicy lover and they have a decent amount of options to satisfy that craving such as their spicy tuna, spicy salmon, or their spicy aioli / house sauce. I have had amazing experience with the staff there, they are always kind and willing to help if you're having trouble deciding. Depending on what you get, the prices can be a little expensive, but I definitely think it's worth it as a nice treat. Their drinks are also quite good, I always go for the tarot milk tea which never disappoints. The only thing I don't typically go for here are their sushi rolls. They taste generally okay, but in comparison to their poke, I would definitely choose the poke bowl. The place itself is on the smaller side, but it kinda serves to give the place a cozy and family vibe. One of the best parts is that you don't have to wait for the food if you get a bowl since it's a build as you go situation (like subway).
