Sooo soooo good! I am from Phoenix and made a trek here since I have heard good things and I am sad it's sooo far away. It's a family owned restaurant and they truly care for their customers. I asked one of the owners how they are liking running the restaurant and was told serving people day in and day out, seeing all the regulars who go there and have Mom's Poke be a part of their day is giving them a lot of satisfaction in what they do. And this sentiment truly shows with the quality of food that they provide. You'll never go wrong whether you get sushi, poke, or a rice bowl. They also sell bomb ass desserts as well! I followed oa_kalani on instagram and ordered a bunch for all my Christmas parties lol He makes sweet potato desserts, matcha strawberry, etc.

First off there's not a better staff in buckeye let me explain the being asked your name taking the time to remember it and your order is the definition of ABOVE & BEYOND that when you eat out you should be receiving! Portions of food!!! They're not skimping you their prices are beyond fair!!! The food is tasty so having great food and service is better than a Michelin Star in my book! Ambiance indoor and take out clean!!!!! If you're not coming here for your sushi poke or ramen needs you're only hindering yourself.

If you're looking for fresh, high quality poke and sushi made with lots of care, look no further. My husband and I love bringing our little ones here anytime we're out on Watson. The fish tastes amazing, the rice is always well-cooked, and the menus are well designed. On top of having great sushi and poke bowls, we love their desert and drink selection! The staff is extremely friendly, and they take great care when handling food allergies or restrictions. Their music choice and furniture design works well with the overall vibe, and if you have little ones, their restroom has a real changing table! Not the ones that are always broken or dirty. If you're tired of being let down by the McDonald's down the street, you can always count on Mom's Poke for consistently good meals.

Will always come here when I'm craving sushi. Greatly priced & they've got the best Vegas rolls I've ever had. Employees are super friendly and accommodating. 10/10!

This was a great find on our way out of Phoenix towards LA. Large Poke bowl with salmon and tuna was on point, great recommendations on sauce too for pairing and plenty of fresh veggies to add to the bowl too. Quick, delicious, and healthy at a reasonable price; glad we were able to find this place.

Wow, such great hospitality and service here at Mom's Sushi and Poke. The shrimp tempura roll was amazing and ramen hit the spot. Aloha guava juice too? My heart and taste buds can't stand it. Will be back!

It was both gorgeous and delicious!!! Nestled in an Avondale strip mall, this cozy little Japanese place serves up a deep menu of over 60 different sushi rolls, five different kinds of ramen, as well as staple Japanese and Korean entrees like Teriyaki, Bulgogi, and Katsu bowls. The restaurant is pristine: everything in the front of the house was clean and the decor was a balance of both modern and traditional Japanese. Their lunch rush was steady; the dining room was well occupied shortly after opening. And the service was attentive and genuine! This is, hands down, one of the best sushi spots in the area! I will be back!

Unfortunately, I have to change my review. We've been coming here since Sushi Love first opened,…read moreand in the beginning this place was on top of things, the servers were friendly and attentive, and while the kitchen could be a little slow at times, it was never anywhere near as bad as what we experienced today. Here's the timeline from when we arrived to when we finally received everything: 12:10 - Seated 12:20 - Finally able to order drinks and food 12:27 - Received my single sushi roll 12:54 - Guest received his entree 1:04 - Just received our gyoza appetizer It took over 10 minutes after being seated before the waitress even got us water. I was trying to look up other restaurants in the area because we were about to leave. What made this even more confusing was that it was a Sunday right after opening, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Because the appetizer took so long, I ended up splitting my single sushi roll with my guest so he wouldn't have to sit there hungry while waiting on his food. Even then, it still took over 30 minutes for his entree to arrive, which was ridiculous considering it was just one dish. The most frustrating part was waiting nearly 45 minutes for a single appetizer order of gyoza. We were honestly close to leaving before it ever arrived, and I would have left still hungry. If the appetizer had come out in a reasonable amount of time, I could have actually enjoyed the roll I came there for in its entirety instead of having to split it just so we could get by while waiting. The pacing of the food also made no sense. Appetizers should come out before entrees, not after everything else. Instead, one person was eating while the other sat there waiting, which made the entire experience awkward and frustrating. If the waitress paced things correctly it would have made a huge difference and likely helped prevent the kitchen from getting backed up. On top of that our waitress never apologized for the delays or acknowledged the excessive wait times, not even after we waited over 10 minutes just to get water. She did repeatedly asked if we "needed anything else" while we were still waiting on food. Like, yes, we needed the food we already ordered? Overall, the experience felt extremely disorganized and uncaring from both the service staff and the kitchen. What's especially disappointing is that this wasn't our first bad experience here. This is now the second visit in a row where we've dealt with extremely slow service and a noticeable lack of attentiveness (last time we were there they forgot some food, not only ours but also a table next to us). This place used to be good, which makes the decline even more frustrating, the kitchen needs an overhaul or something. Sushi is good and not as slow but ordering anything from the kitchen or getting drinks is like pulling teeth to get. Sushi Love isn't a huge restaurant, so it's hard to understand how things have become this disorganized. We gave the restaurant another chance hoping things would improve, but this was by far the worst experience we've had here.

We opted for the all you can eat dinner, but it's limited to the bar only - no biggie. We were quickly seated and given water. To start off, we ordered some gyoza and trapper bites. Both were great options. We also ordered some cocktails. I ordered the Pineapple Coconut Crusher. 10/10 if you want a sweet cocktail. After looking through the menu and asking for recommendations, we started ordering our rolls. You order your rolls directly from over the bar, and they're made right in front of you, which I thought great. The rolls and nigiri were delicious. The quality of the sushi is really good. I especially loved the Tukwila and Trump rolls. Both are great options if you're not sure what to order. The salmon nigiri is also really good. Overall, we had a really good experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first time. I enjoyed chatting with the guys behind the counter and seeing them have fun while preparing our food.

Everything was fresh and tasty. The presentation was excellent, as well. My fav is the Carpaccio and The baked mussels. Yum! After I tapped out, they brought a beautiful tray of oysters for another table that looked amazing. I would try that next time. We also had the Spicy Garlic Edamame, Miso soup, Seaweed Salad, and the Gyoza. Our server was super sweet and very attentive. All the staff work as a team to make sure everyone is happy and getting everything they need. They all help to clear plates and bring new dishes to the table. They have a decent array of drinks and Sakis. The seating has a good size area with booths and tables. They have room to move tables to accommodate for larger parties, which is a bonus. There are tv screens up on the walls with different shows and videos playing. They also have music playing which was nice. It's a fun & casual vibe. They just recently changed ownership and names so that's probably why we got in so quickly on a Friday night. They are making changes to the menu and so there will be more updates coming soon. The parking is right outside and it's a big shared lot so it was easy. The building and windows are dark but at night they have a new neon sign that says" Brave Sushi-all you can eat. " There are two cost options you can pick $35 for all you can eat, except the Nigiri, or $40 to include the Nigiri. They both include ice cream for dessert.
