    Crispy Rice Bites
    Ethan R.

Honestly, it was a great experience. We went during happy hour (highly recommend!). We were kindly greeted by the waitstaff and sat almost immediately. We did the 3 for 33, with another appetizer, just so we could taste around. The appetizers we ordered were the crispy rice bites and the calamari. The crispy rice bites were definitely better than the calamari, but both were still very good.what I loved the most is that the bites played very well to the variety of textures, like the soft salmon, paired with the fresh jalapeño, then the crispy rice. It was all great. The best part of the meal by far was the sushi (which is what we hoped). We were blown away by the presentation, quality, and taste of both of the rolls. We ordered the Rock & Roll (wives choice) and the Tis' the Salmon (my choice). Both were so tasty. It's awesome to know this place is right down the road from us because we will definitely want to come back soon!

If you like a great vibe and great sushi that is all you can eat at a great price then this is a spot you have to try. My favorite roll is the trump roll. I also love their mackerel nigiri and yellowtail nigiri. Don't skip the edamame or their miso soup to start as it is delicious. Sake bombs and banter with the sushi chefs is always a good time. The service is quick and on point. I go there like 2 times a month on average. Love this spot!!

The sushi at Trappers is great and always fresh! I enjoy bringing my kids here on Sunday because kids eat free! The staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is very casual and cozy. Trappers is my go to for convenient sushi at an affordable price.

One of my favorite AYCE sushi spots in Arizona! There weren't that many AYCE sushi spots in Arizona so I was so stoked when I came across Trapper's and it's actually reasonably priced and good! Parking isn't an issue since they have their own parking lot Service is ok, not too attentive but they are friendly Pricing is reasonable. Lunch price for the regular menu is $22.95/person (11am-3pm daily) and dinner price for the upgraded menu ($32.95/person 11am-8:30pm daily). The regular menu has a good variety of baked and raw sushi (20+ options) and the upgraded menu includes the items on the regular menu as well as nigiri, long, and premium rolls. It takes awhile to get your dish after you place it especially on the weekends because it gets pretty packed since you're only allowed to sit at the sushi bar! Sushi is super fresh and so delicious! Loved the rainbow roll and the generous portions of fish on top of the California roll! I would say it's 8/10 Would totally recommend and return

Heard they have a really good all you can eat/happy hour type situation. The sushi was really good and fresh. The drinks were weak but kinda expected it.... The vibe was cool and the service was nice priced well.

Always great service when I come here. Love the ambiance and the food is always fresh. I always recommend coming here for lunch for their specials. It is a little more pricey than other sushi places, but the quality is worth it. The drinks are really good too.

Went in for Sunday dinner they had awesome specials they had buy 3 rolls for $33 it was a bargain! All their rolls are amazing and the service is great . The Trapper bites are a must ! They also offer all you can eat sushi special off a certain menu

We come to this place often for their all you can eat sushi! You have to sit at the bar in order to enjoy the AYCE sushi (there's about 10 seats). The AYCE menu also includes their appetizers which I highly recommend the trapper bites and gyoza. The sushi chefs are always kind and will make any modifications you would like. This last time we went, I did feel our rolls had too much rice and not as much filling. Either way, we will continue to go back! Note - if you don't at least order and finish 2 rolls then the AYCE price may not be worth it for you. Come hungry!

Yes lawd!! This spot was a find! Funny because we always visit the Ahpoki next door lol never thought to try here until one day. Minimal table service but they do offer seated dinning. Their sushi is fresh, just like Ahpoki they know what they doing with they bomb af seaweed salad. Restrooms and dinning room were both clean. It's a nice and low key vibe atmosphere in here really chill for dates. This review literally has reminded me to visit here again lol

Came here for the very time here during May and my friends and I were not disappointed. We went during happy hour which if from 2 pm till 6pm everyday (excluding Friday and Saturday). The prices here were affordable and very much worth it on how tasty our sushi was. Our server was name Julia and she was such a sweetheart. Very kind and attentive to our table. I highly recommend coming here during a weekday to experience sushi that is different and has incredible flavor

    3 for $33?!? Say whattttt

10/10! I loved everything there and they run great deals. They have a happy hour where you can get 3 rolls for $33 and it's such a steal. Great way of trying all the wonderful options they have. We were able to sit right away and will go back again to try the all you can eat sushi they offer. O good hack plus....definitely get the deep fried crab bites for an appetizer. Sooooooo good!

    Couldn't finish the rolls

Is it all you can eat all day or only certain hours?

It is all day but only at the bar so sometimes there is a wait because of limited seating. they have a lunch all you can eat and a dinner all you can eat.

When is the all you can eat? i can't find it anywhere on the website and most peoples reviews say it's only on certain day

You can order all you can eat anytime during the day. If you go at lunch you can choose the dinner all you can eat menu if you want certain rolls.

The restaurant wasn't that busy for the lunch rush, and the waitress was very attentive and helpful. The only downsides I experienced was that there was no hot water running in the bathroom that I could tell, and no paper towels were available to dry my hands or open the bathroom door with. I also had a small fly hovering around me while I ate (I was inside). Thinking about this experience a little deeper however (after the bill) changed things for me a bit. Was the food okay? Yes, I think... Was it noteworthy? Not really. The stacks of premade rolls sitting on the counter made me think twice about ever eating here again. I paid around $45 for lunch after tax and tip. I ordered 6 pieces of nigiri, a tempura roll, a small bowl of miso soup, and an iced tea. I don't consider this anything crazy or over the top. Given this price point I expect hot water and paper towels in the bathrooms, especially if employees who are handling our food use those facilities. 1-star, won't be back... oh, and the soy sauce bottle was literally stuck to the counter. I had to pry it off.

The chicken and shrimp fried rice was disappointing because the chicken tasted hard and chewy, almost feels like leftover chicken reheated. The calamari was okay, very bland, nothing special.
