That being said, the food isn't bad at all, and it's easy to get your money's worth after ordering several rounds of sushi, appetizers, and hibachi. I can't honestly say that I'm super impressed with this place because I've been to AYCE sushi places that include nigiri in the unlimited options for around the same price, while Sushi Queen does not. It's probably the best you're going to get for AYCE sushi in the area, though. Service was friendly and prompt. I am appalled by this organization. If there were 0 stars, I would give them to them. I hope that the manager sees this and contacts me ASAP before I send a lawsuit against the company. My girlfriend and I wanted to eat Sushi and a friend from the area recommend that this is all you can eat. I looked it up on google & saw the lunch menu "13.99" until 3 pm and "25.99." after 5 pm. I called ahead to make sure it was still lunchtime, sat down to order my food, and in 15 minutes, my server came back with a check of 50$ instead of the 28$ that was supposed to be the bill. I asked politely to speak to a manager about the confusion since it's the price on their website & some lady claiming to be the manager started yelling at me like I was a child. When I mean crying, I mean pointing, screaming, and melting down. I told her not to speak to me this way. I explained that A) I called to make sure it was lunchtime, and you all said yes. Why would there be a difference between Lunch and dinner if it's the same menu and price? B) Why would you advertise "13.99" on your website if it's not updated? Furthermore, with other clients that saw the interchange, they thought it was highly unfair, and the servers were acting crazy. I asked for a manager's number and email. When I tell you they hid from me shut down the kitchen and left my girlfriend & I and a whole other table in the dark, Alone in the restaurant, this is embarrassing. Horrible. Went here trying to get some lunch today. Was starved. Ordered from the AYCE menu and wanted the rolls wrapped in Soy paper instead of Seaweed. Easy enough right? Wrong. First I got asked if I wanted to change the ingredients because what was in the roll was listed. I said no I don't want to change anything except what it's wrapped in. Just wrap it in soy paper and then rice. Oh I don't think we do that here. So I sat there while coworkers ate lunch. Oh well. I'll try elsewhere but I'll call beforehand. Sushi Princess maybe. I really hate being this type of person but I feel like I have to do this. I have always loved coming to this place for the variety of specialty sushi they offer for a low price with very good taste. However, this last time I went today, Friday 11/26/21, was completely disappointing. It wasn't the food itself nor the service, but the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant. As I was eating the one of the rolls I had ordered and still had one more coming, a cockroach appeared on top the table and started crawling towards the food. I instinctively flicked it off the table and realized I should've called the server to let them know. Not even 5 minutes had passed and this time, 2 cockroaches appeared again on my booth seat and crawled onto the table. I called the server, she didn't even seem surprised of this happening and she just said "Just one minute," kept on working without any urgency to do anything and then after like 2 minutes came to try to kill the bug with all the food and rolls still on the table that just came in. The cockroach crawled across the entire table. The server wasn't even able to get rid of it and kept asking me to check if was still there, which I don't think is professional at all to ask a customer to look for a filthy insect while I was eating. After this whole incident, my girlfriend and I completely lost our appetites to eat the rolls they just brought and we told them we didn't want it anymore. The server then came and told us that she could offer a 20% discount for this incident which was taking $4 off of each plate ($22.99 for each adult) and her stating as an excuse that "the bug is appearing because the food is being left on the table without being eaten," like are you serious? I told her I wanted to talk to the manager. He came to talk to me and told me that the best he can do is offer me a 30% discount and that he will call the "company" to get rid of bugs, and said that "the roaches aren't on the food itself, therefore there's no problem," again, what? There shouldn't be any insects or roaches in the first place, it's unsanitary. He then asked me how much off I wanted and I told him to just charge me for one adult. He instantly said no, and I kept telling him that it's not fair for me to pay full price if there are roaches appearing on the table. He then told me he would charge me for a to go box for the rolls that were uneaten (since we lost our appetite) and since the 20% off, of $4, seemed absurd. The food might be delicious but how am I guaranteed that these roaches are not in the kitchen as well if I'm seeing them on top of the table? At the end, the manager got tired of arguing with me and (I suppose) got scared of other customers overhearing that there are cockroaches in the dining room, so he just slammed the table, took my receipt, crumbled it, rudely called me to the front desk, and just charged me for one adult. He did apologize in the end and told me he would call someone to get rid of the roaches. I don't know if paying for half is fair enough, but at least it's better than the 20% they were offering, making it a $4 discount, and still having to pay $38. I very well understand the point of view of the manager in saying we already ate food prior to the incident and that they have bills to pay, which is why I agreed to pay for something, but it's still not right and worst of all, their excuses for the existence of the roaches in the dining booths. I also know that I should've taken photos for evidence of this incident since it's not something to take lightly, but at the moment it all happened very fast. This little Chinese Lady Server is a THIEF. See my pic, we went on Sunday, she claims the credit card internet is down and doesn't work. By Wednesday she has double charged us 2 different amounts. If you love grubbing on tons of sushi, this is the place for you!! They literally give you boatloads! If you order enough sushi, they will bring it out on a sweet boat, however you have to ask for it. That was our one mistake and my one critique of this place is that we were unaware of that fact. The sushi is a little heavy on the rice, which is to be expected from an all you can eat sushi joint, but it is quite tasty. I loved the Hawaii roll and the Alaska roll. Nothing fancy, but the sushi was tasty. Drinks are an extra charge and they will charge you an extra togo fee if you have a lot of sushi leftover. This place is under new management and IS A DISASTER. They advertise themselves as buffet and puts on menu "repeat order until you are full" yet I recently had a HORRIFIC experience here and it is one of my family's fave place to go too even though my kids don't eat much we still go there for the variety. My upon my 2nd order of my fave thing to get there yellow tail jalapeño they said they can no longer serve me that and the manager came to my table and said sorry but we can't keep giving you that order because there is a limit of two per person per order, mind you everyone that this place is a buffet but you place your order to the waitress and they prep and bring it to you. I have been to this place over 20 times in less than a year with family, parties and friends etc and I use to brag and recommend this place but has since gone downhill. As a matter of fact I was there with my family 3 weeks ago and I regularly make this order and never had this experience before. Anyway I told them I wanted to place that order coz that's what I want to eat tonight at this point and said if I decide on something else later I will let you know and the manager MING he says his name is started saying well we refuse to serve you the order that you want. So I told him why not? Because you already had it twice, I told him and what is your point? I have had it more than that before here and it's never been a problem he then says you can order anything else but that just because he felt like it and he said if I wanted that same order I have to pay more mind you at this point I lost my appetite ppl were looking at my table so I said if you refuse to serve me I don't want anything in this place. Story cut short they forced me to leave because they no longer want to serve me and made me pay $24 for refusing to serve a buffet as they have advertised. Sadly a place that my kids love to go to has now been crossed off our list to eat. This place was never the best sushi place out there but for $24 (after taxes) it's decent for a sushi buffet and the fact that they serve it to your table was a plus but this new management like to bulldoze people around and make a scene just because they decided to change their minds on what they advertise. It was a real horrible experience there & I suggest to everyone to just skip this restaurant to save you the trouble and grief of thinking you're getting a buffet experience. I have spent up to $200 with other sushi restaurants that have more variety than this place so it's not worth it at all to spend time and money in a place that doesn't appreciate repeat customers.
