Everything! I was overcharged because the guy clearly thought I would not look at the receipt. Added .80 Noodles which I never ordered, would not give me the money back or extra sauce when I asked! Vegetables were cold... Run so you won't be disappointed!!! Very small portion!

The sushi was so nasty it's like it's been sitting out all day! I couldn't even finish it. The rice and chicken in the bento box was the only okay tasting thing. The rest ew.

    SHRIMP TEMPURA ROLL

The service was great, shrimp tempura was really good, PS ask for extra eel sauce cuz it's the best sauce, ambiance was really nice at night although it gets crowded in the morning.

So I normally have great food and great experience with this place. The food is good and I've been ordering from them for years. I actually hate leaving bad reviews for restaurants because I know the error could just be a person who decided to do a half azz job on a Wednesday. However this happened twice this week. I ordered the California tempura rolls which have cream cheese in them. Two times this week the rolls came with no cream cheese and it's honestly a favorable part. I ordered through DoorDash and got a refund the first time. Just to make sure it didn't happen again, I tried to call Sarku but no one answered the phone. Then I texed my dasher to ask if he could just ask them to make sure it's correct with cream cheese. He said, you have to contact the restaurant. He couldn't even ask a question for me. And because of that he missed out on a $10 tip. I'm really writing this review in hopes that a manager at Sarku sees it and makes sure that they are making the sushi rolled correctly. I'm going to put a picture of what I received vs the picture. Not saying that any restaurant looks like the picture but this roll was missing cream cheese, some slices were missing avocado, and one was even open with hardly anything in the middle. I know they are probably busy but that is no excuse for basically thrown together rolls. It's clear no one cared that day. If you are in the mall, try it but if you are ordering it will taste good but the accuracy will be iffy. Most people would give a 1 star review on this but I'm giving 3 hoping the quality will return to normal.

Standard mall food, especially if you're in a hurry. The food is hot and ready in 5 mins once your order. The taste is kinda uniform and bland but there aren't a whole lot of good options available I guess. The service is decent/fast and the quantity is ample, with the option to do double meat for $2 extra. Worth a try at least once although we've been eating this couple a times a year for the last ten years.

Service sucked so much I asked for a fruit punch but they gave a tea I asked again and said " are you sure ?" And she said " YES" in a mad voice ! Also very loud !

Unfortunately all this will go to the trash..

Service was HORRIBLE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ! I asked for 1 chicken teriyaki roll & was charged twice so for it , so i asked to get refunded for the extra amount of money i paid the cashier said no then this unprofessional lady who claim was the manager from the store whose name is "Catherine or katherine" or at least thats what i believe because her coworkers hesitate when i asked for her name. A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NASTY PERSON by the way! After i explained everything to her she did get me the refund but in a rude way.. when she was walking to the back of the store she said to the other workers in Spanish " si yo fuera le diera veneno " which would translate to " if it was me i would give her poison " basically meaning that if she was the one making my food she would poison it? Now i asked to the owner of this restaurant if thats the manager he wanna have working for him!? Threatening people to poison them!?? I will post the Recipt of the double charged as proof and also i must mention that since i paid with apple pay she tried to say that a refund was not possible because i pay with my phone after a while she finally refunded me but in cash so i will post the other recipt too.. i feel so emotional hurt because now im scared to even eat my food most likely will go to the trash.. i mean how can anyone eat after someone threatened them with something like that.. no words hope the owner does something about this..

-The teriyaki sauce is just not the same anymore. -The portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. -I miss the $0.99 double meat days, where they actually gave you DOUBLE the meat. +Nostalgia brings me back to Sarku, all the time.

    Overcharging. Rude staff.

Came here to explore, found this place that I used to love so I was excited. However this was disappointing. 1. They over charged me. I asked for chicken and beef, she could have billed me beef teriyaki ($8.69) + extra chicken ($1.99). But she billed me chicken teriyaki ($8.29) and double beef ($3.19) - cost extra! 2. Not enough food like how it used to be. 3. The food does not taste as good as before.

Ehhhhh. This Sarku is located in the mall food court. The food is just okay. I came here last week to have lunch with a friend and they literally had no chicken cooked. We had to wait and it honestly wasn't worth the wait. The chicken tasted stringy, almost cat like, and the sauce had no taste. I would not come back.

This restaurant is located in the Dulles town center mall. It is in the food court. I can say that every time I find something to eat in food court, I always find for Sarku Japan. My favorite menu is chicken and shrimp teriyaki with vegetable. The taste is always so good. However, should not expect for good service. Sometimes there is very long line.

Started with an espresso martini, a smoked Old Fashioned, and the fritto misto to share. Everything was really good. Then we split the lamb burger and the shrimp risotto for lunch. Both were excellent, although I think the risotto edged out the burger. Our server Mike made the whole experience. Before he even brought us water, he showed up with a bowl for Onyx. Come on, that's an instant five stars in my book. We ended up talking wine with him for a good part of the afternoon. He had us sample a few different pours before we landed on a Nebbiolo we loved. Later, after another conversation about wine, he brought over a taste of a white we'd never even heard of because he thought we'd enjoy trying it. It never felt like an upsell. It just felt like talking with someone who genuinely enjoys wine and likes sharing it with people. Relaxing patio, great food, excellent cocktails, and genuinely memorable service. We'll definitely be back, and Onyx probably will too.

The food was beautifully presented and the wine pairing was superb. Definitely recommend having them pair your wines. The grilled shrimp was a great start. The sparkling rose made the shrimp taste even better. The goat cheese ravioli was probably my favorite savory dish of the evening. The sweet sage-maple syrup-tomato sauce was fantastic. The Sancerre was pleasant with it, although I thought the ravioli itself was more impressive than the pairing. I had to order bread so the sauce wouldnt go to waste. I ordered the lamb medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium, and initially it was somewhat underseasoned. After adding salt and pepper and getting some of the thyme from the plate into the bite, the lamb became significantly better and worked better with the Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The creamed spinach underneath was delicious on its own, but I didn't enjoy it with the wine. Interestingly, the absolute highlight of that wine pairing was the braised garlic. The sweet, mellow garlic and Châteauneuf-du-Pape were wonderful together. Dessert was the highlight of the entire pairing. The lavender ice cream was outstanding, the Chantilly surrounding it was light and delicious, and the strawberry sauce wasn't overly sweet. The Sauternes was excellent with the dessert, particularly with the fresh strawberry. This was the pairing where the food and wine truly made each other better. Even though I was one of the last diners of the evening, I never felt rushed. My server was very attentive and social which I love. It was very romantic and yet comfortable enough that dining alone wasnt awkward. I'd happily return.

It came with a pretty decent amount of risotto topped with chicken, artichokes, tomatoes, spinach, feta, all over pesto base and finished with lemon sauce. The risotto itself was creamy with a nice texture, though the flavors were not as bold as I would have liked. With all the ingredients, I would have expected a little more flavor. It was still good and enjoyable, just a bit more subdued than I expected. Overall, this was a nice spot for a casual dinner on a pleasant night out in Sterling.

What a wonderful experience! The restaurant is a very, quite spacious and very welcoming. It's right next to a lake and so the setting was lovely. We had an indoor/outdoor room with doors that opened to the outside. I had a raspberry lemon martini with a sugared glass rim. Very nicely presented. They have a very varied menu and they also have a large gluten-free menu. We both had the lobster bisque as a starter and then we both ordered the fish tacos. The soup was filled with lots of lobster meat and was delicious. The fish tacos were made with cod and the waiter mentioned that the slaw had some habanero chile in it. I asked if it was spicy and he said it might have a slight kick, but was not spicy. He was absolutely correct and in fact, if he hadn't mentioned the habanero I would not have picked up on it at all. It was really good. If you order bread, (and you have choices on type), you are charged I think a dollar per order, but that is donated to help people who are food challenged. We were full from our dinner, but we could not pass up an order of key lime pie for dessert, which we shared. It was a hard choice because they had a special dessert which was chocolate peanut-butter pie. I wish we could have had both. Their other desserts also sounded great. By the way, a portion of their revenues from desserts are also donated to help those who need food assistance. I was very impressed that they do that. I want to mention that the wait staff was also great. Friendly, attentive, but not over-bearing. I can't say enough about Sweetwster Tavern. For a weeknight, this restaurant was surprisingly busy, which felt like a good sign! Dinner started out with trying some of their appetizers. We got the Tex Mex Egg Rolls as well as their special Burrata appetizer. The Tex Mex Egg Rolls came with four tasty mini egg rolls filled with smoked chicken, corn, black beans, onions, peppers, and jalapeño jack cheese. They were served with a creamy avocado dipping sauce that added a cool, refreshing contrast to the savory filling. Overall, these were a light and flavorful way to start the meal. The Burrata special was also pretty good. It came with three crisp breads, cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, extra virgin olive oil and drizzles of balsamic glaze. I loved the buttery, creamy burrata paired with the juicy cherry tomatoes. I also liked how the basil pesto and balsamic glaze gave a bright, herby flavor. For my entree, I opted for the Wood Grilled Chicken Breast. Two generous pieces of tender grilled chicken were served over angel hair pasta tossed in brown butter sauce, alongside roasted cremini mushrooms and green beans. Interestingly, I got a lemony flavor in the brown butter sauce, which was unexpected but surprisingly delicious. I especially enjoyed the roasted cremini mushrooms. These were earthy, meaty and full of flavor! Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner at Sweetwater Tavern. From the flavorful starters to the hearty entree, it was a satisfying first dinner in Dulles. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment. I made the mistake of reviewing the one in Fairfax when our daughter had given us coupons to try some new non-seafood items that Red Lobster was introducing at the time. I made another mistake by mentioning she worked for Red Lobster -- never mind, it wasn't at this particular location. Yelp removed my review. Well...she hasn't worked for "The Lobster" in years now. So I can now update :D Red Lobster came very close to going out of business. They closed several of their restaurants nationwide. The one in Sterling was never on any lists for closures. We would go from time to time. Recently, Red Lobster has started adding new entrees and side dishes. When I saw that they were now offering seafood boils, I wanted to try one. Neither of us had ever had a seafood boil, but we grew up knowing about them We were here on a Saturday for an early dinner and were surprised to see how many other customers were there. As the evening progressed, even more came in to eat. Good to see that! Our server was friendly, polite, and efficient. We each ordered a seafood boil. I got the Mariner's boil, which has crab legs, lobster tail, a dozen shrimp, corn on the cob, and potatoes. My husband got the Sailor's boil, which has 2 dozen shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, and potatoes. There are 3 dressings available. We both chose the original one, which was garlic butter. It took a while for our food to come out but, no problem. We were served cheddar bay biscuits that were fresh out of the oven so we didn't feel like we were starving. When our boils came, our server shook the bag to make sure the sauce was evenly spread around. The bags came in what looked like a pie plate. I had thought ahead and brought along some disposable kitchen food prep gloves for each of us. Thus, we were able to dig right into our food. As I'm not a fan of shrimp, I gave my shrimp to my husband. My boil still had a generous amount of crab legs, plus a lobster tail. The crab legs and lobster tail were properly cooked, as was the corn on the cob. We both agreed that the potatoes could have been cooked a bit longer, but they were still edible. The corn on the cob was sweet and flavorful. My husband said he liked the sausage that was in his boil. Overall, we both enjoyed our meals and were glad we gave them a try. Hopefully, they will stay on "Red Lobster's" menu. As for ambiance, it's still the same old seafood restaurant vibe. And, yes, we will continue to go from time to time.
