    Seaweed Salad

If you are in the mood for quick, quality sushi this the place to go. The seaweed salad is delicious, crunchy. They have lots of specials on the sushi depending on the day and if you order online or in-person. The service is always quick so if you are going for lunch during work, you'll be done in time. The ambience is causal, a great spot for a quick lunch!

EASY FIVE STARS! My coworker told me how fantastic Sushi Runner is, so I immediately bookmarked it and planned to come here the following week! And they were right - it is fantastic! This place has over 60 specialized sushi rolls! I ordered the Caribbean, Volcano, and Kamikaze Roll using their 1+1=3 deal, and holy moly! These rolls were gigantic and tasted scrumptious! I placed my order for 7:00 pm, and they bagged it by 6:45 pm! Talk about getting orders done in advance! I actually saved the Caribbean Roll for lunch the next day since the other two rolls got me stuffed! I mentioned above that they have a 1+1=3 deal, which makes coming here a treat! If you buy two sushi rolls, you get the third one for free! You're practically saving $20 for ten pieces of high-quality sushi! Thanks to my coworker, Sushi Runner is officially my new favorite sushi spot, and I'm going to be a regular here for a long time! My eyes are locked on the Lady Gaga, Jennifer, and Titanic Roll for my next visit!

Been here multiple times with big party's and have had amazing experience but I don't understand how when dinning in you don't get charged for sauce but when I placed an order of 5+ rolls today I got charged 1.10$ per sauce just because it's take out... since I can't stand greediness it's time to find another good sushi spot.

This has been my favorite sushi takeout spot during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only are they very generous with their portions and eel sauce which is of extreme importance, their sushi rolls are always fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Its sometimes difficult to find good sushi rolls made from raw fish but sushi runner never fails to make the best rolls. I usually order the rainbow roll or any other roll that is made completely of raw fish and honestly I am always satisfied with my meal. All their cooked and tempura rolls are amazing, so if this is your first time ordering and you are not sure what to get, go for that. The price may be a little daunting but you are definitely getting what you are paying for. Thanks sushi runner for satisfying my sushi cravings during this pandemic.

Had a craving for sushi today. Found this little restaurant gem in my neighborhood. Sushi Runner has a special of 2 rolls for the price of 3 from 11am-3pm. It's a great deal! There had so many rolls on the menu it was hard to decide which ones to choose. I ended up getting the Angry Bird, Lady Gaga, and Nikki Beach rolls. They were delicious and HUGE! So much food. I couldn't even finish one roll. They were so filling.

Come here every thursday for the happy hour. My favorites are the kamikaze and the kamasutra roll. I love that all the sauces are free as well! Never disappoints !

    Sapporo Roll

My favorite roll was definitely the Sapporo Roll. It was a perfect combination of the spicy crab on top with the crunch of the asparagus and shrimp tempura. The beef lo mein was very fresh and had lots of great variety of vegetables and a good amount of meat. The furai sandwich was pretty good not my favorite but good, I feel like something is missing and maybe it's a sauce to go with it. The tequenos were good a bit cold but had a good amount of cheese to them. The American dream was a pretty good roll too. Maybe a drizzle of a sauce on top would of made it just perfect but it was tasty too. Sapporo roll is highly recommended if you want a mouthful of flavors!

Hands down my favorite sushi spot to date!! I've tried about 10 different rolls on their menu and each one has always fulfilled my weekly sushi cravings. My favorite one most definitely has to be the Angry Bird. It consists of smoked salmon, on top of shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese, tomatoes, sliced almonds, red tobiko, tempura flakes, percibían ají amarillo sauce, crispy onions, cilantro, with passion fruit sauce on top. What makes the roll, in my opinion, is the passion fruit sauce and the sliced almonds on top. I usually order mine with little cream cheese because I've noticed that the cream cheese sometimes overpowers the overall taste of the sushi roll but it's by far my favorite sushi I've ever had!

My friends and I ordered poke bowls and sushi roll through delivery. It was super easy ordering online...well guided and explained it even has the option for special instructions like sauce on the side. The food was packaged nicely, nothing was coming out of the container like sauce. You can tell it was packaged so well that it didn't get messed up through the delivery run. The delivery was a little long, but it was Friday at 6:45pm so I get it but when you're hungry it feels like forever! Lol We ordered the Maui and aloha bowl as well as the Mexican roll and shrimp tempura.

You order at the counter. Grab a menu, as there are no screens / billboards with food options and prices. They will give you a number and you wait at your table. My brother ordered the tempura lover, with a fried sushi roll with cooked salmon and oozes of cream cheese. The tempura is doughey and heavy, and was not served hot. I ordered the lowmein. It had a lot of meat which I appreciated. The noodles were cooked just right. The vegetables, however, clearly came out of a frozen bag. So sad. The appetizer salad was almost frozen, and the ginger dressing was off. Unsatisfying experience. You are better off somewhere else.

Always delivered from this place. Hace 3x1 menu. Good taste sushi. Don't know why increase menu price every time I order?

I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.

Our server Claudia was so nice and helpful with explaining the different dishes. You also are treated to a complimentary mocktail and sweet yam bite to start. Claudia even provided us a tablet to see the pictures of the various dishes offered which helped us decide what to try. We started off with a mocktail that had coconut, passion fruit, hibiscus tea and pineapple. That drink was delicious and I didn't miss the alcohol. For starters we had the salmon crispy rice and that was so filling and delicious. Then we had the scallops in the black truffle sauce which was perfect a seared to perfection. We also ordered the kumogani roll which is crab based and that was very tasty with or without soy sauce. We loved everything we tried and will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. I highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area.

I haven't had a single dish I didn't enjoy--the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The only downsides are that they have limited hours and the place fills up quickly. It's a small restaurant, and if you want to sit around the conveyor belt (which is part of the fun), I highly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before opening so you can be one of the first in line. It's definitely a cool spot if you love trying different rolls and small plates. The only downside for me was the service. The wait to sit around the sushi bar was extremely long. Also, while not all, most of the servers didn't seem like they enjoyed working there. There wasn't much smiling or charisma, and the overall vibe felt a bit burnt out or indifferent. At one point, a server allowed someone they were acquainted with to cut in front of the line to be sat, which was disappointing to see after waiting so long. Aside from the service issues, the food itself was very enjoyable. If the hospitality matched the quality of the sushi, this place would easily be a top-tier experience.

Parking was a breeze in the plaza it was in, although the parking spots themselves were a little slim. Walking in, we were greeted right away and seated shortly after. The staff was all friendly and the service was super fast. The place itself was super clean and pretty large in comparison to a few other Sushi Sakes I've been to. The menu is pretty extensive so I took quite some time looking at it to decide what I wanted. I was trying to be a bit healthy but my options were pretty limited if I wanted to stay budget friendly. I ended up getting some a sashimi sampler and shared the dynamite appetizer. Both were decent but I do have to say, I have high expectations for the dynamite appetizer so my opinion may be a little skewed. The sashimi was fairly fresh but I wish they had other options for something with less rice on their menu. We also got drinks, the lychee martini and lychee sangria. Both were really good!
