We waited about 10 mins to be seated, but our waitress was there in mins. We ordered the El Greco skillet, country fried steak and a side of biscuits and gravy. Delicious food and good portions. I must mention the coffee was acceptable. Not the best but not the worst. Not just our waitress, but all staff members we interacted with were lovely. They've never let me down. Their spanakopita is also worth mentioning. Made the traditional Greek way, it's one of those hidden gems on the menu that doesn't get enough attention. This visit, though, I decided to color outside the lines. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelette. The eggs were cooked just right. The peppers and cheese worked well together, but I thought the filling needed a little more seasoning. It wasn't bad by any stretch... just a bit bland for something inspired by a Philly cheesesteak. We also started with the onion rings, and those were excellent. Crispy on the outside, tender onions inside, and exactly what an onion ring should be. My wife went with the chocolate chip pancakes. Calling them "large" doesn't do them justice. These things arrived looking like they had their own ZIP code. They were fluffy, loaded with chocolate chips, and the kind of breakfast that makes you question whether lunch is even necessary. But the real star of the meal wasn't on the menu. It was our server, Olivia. Let's be honest. Waiting tables at a diner may not be anybody's dream job, but you never would've known it from the way she took care of us. She was friendly, helpful, attentive, and seemed to be everywhere she needed to be before we even realized we needed something. I'd come back just for her service. Five stars for Olivia.
