Yucky and pricey. It's hard to know where to start because we didn't like a single thing we got. The Pad Thai which my mom ordered was so bad she didn't eat more than 2 forkfuls. Still, they insisted she take it home and wrapped it up for her. Sadly, it was beyond hope and simply ended up in the garbage. I opted for fried rice to accompany the curry dish I ordered, which turned out to be a huge mistake. It was literally the worst fried rice I have ever had by a wide margin. The rice itself was brown and oily, contained no eggs or veggies, and tasted awful. Needless to say there was one more thing we didn't eat that they tried to send home with us. In that case, however, we flat out refused to take it, telling the waiter it was so bad we wouldn't be comfortable offering it to our dogs. He responded by suggesting we order plain white rice on our next visit...like there was going to be a next visit. Lastly, my father order duck because it is his absolute favorite. Sadly, they ruined that too. They brought him cold tasteless bits of dried up duck with, you guessed it, a side of their god awful fried rice. He tried hard to make the best of it, but again, he mostly just pushed his food around before giving up. Basically, we all left the restaurant hungry because we didn't end up eating much of anything. Despite this we still got stuck with a hefty bill, which felt like adding insult to injury. I think what made everything worse was the fact that no one at the restaurant seemed to care that we were unhappy. The waiter wasn't rude, but other than suggesting we try plain white rice on a future visit he didn't do or say anything to address how unhappy we were. Then, when we were checking out we tried to tell the woman at the front desk we were unhappy, but she only seemed concerned about checking ad rechecking our bill to make certain she charged us for every single item, even the ones we clearly didn't eat. Sorry, but sending food home with someone who didn't like it enough to eat it when it was fresh is dumb and wasteful. Honestly, we felt like warning other people not to go in as we passed them on our way out. Instead, we are warning the yelp universe. There are much, MUCH better options for Thai and Asian cuisine in Warner Robins; I seriously doubt there are worse ones. read more

Got Pad Thai to go. This was my first time trying this place. I have eaten Pad Thai many times and am a big fan so naturally I was excited for my meal. Portions were huge so I guess that's one good thing I could say. The flavor of the dish was unlike any Pad Thai I have ever eaten. Instead of spicy and nutty and delightful, the sauce was sweet and sour. Not at all what I expected..The sauce was thin and didn't cling to the noodles well. To top it off, I kept getting a distinct fishy taste and I honestly wasn't able to figure out why. Maybe something cooked on the same surface or with the same oil as fish or something? It was sooo strong and off putting. This review coming from someone who loves to eat and really truly (no really) isn't a picky eater. I've ordered takeaway many times here and always loved the pad see ew. The last two times have been absolutely terrible, no flavor or sauce in the dish at all. So sad and disappointed. I called to let them know the last time and they mentioned they had a new cook. I came back as I would never not because of one bad experience. I have to share our experiences at Sushi Thai over the last few years. The ambiance is amazingly peaceful with great music playing. It is clean and and the tables are always set perfectly. The staff are always professional and know the menu very well. Shelly was our server today and she is one of the best we have ever had at any restaurant!!!! She seriously paid attention to detail and went out of her way to ensure our meal was perfect, as it was! We had Pad Woon Sen with pork and extra vegetables!!! It was the best I have ever had. My husband had soup and I had the salad. My salad was fresh with their amazing homemade salad dressing that stands on its own!!! You will not ever find this salad dressing anywhere else, it may be common but this restaurant nails it!!! My compliments to the Chef! Our meals have always been fresh, tasty and filling. Had to change my review for this place after my recent visit. Let me start off with this.. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING BUT SUSHI from this place and when I say sushi be careful on that too. I ordered the papaya salad and it was horrible. I stopped my waitress and explained that it wasn't what I expected.. her response was." Well we can't refund it" I told her I don't need a refund but to swap it out she agreed but made it seem as if she was doing me a huge favor I opted for the pad Thai and it was horrible. The only thing I ate was the Katsu roll and a California roll.. as I said the sushi is decent the main entrees I will never order from if I even return to this place. read more

We really wanted to love this place considering it was our first time in, but it just did not live up to it's ambiance. You walk into the restaurant and the renovations are stunning... I truly expected a sublime, perfect dining experience before we were even seated. This place has immense potential just by the interior. Seriously guys, it's beautiful. We were seated quickly and it took our server a little too long to actually come to the table to take our order (5-10 minutes). We couldn't even hear him speaking, not because of the music, but simply because he was barely talking above a whisper. He had little to no personality, which is awkward for a server. We got our drinks and salad ordered. Maybe 20 minutes went by before we even got our pre-meal salad... and we only received one. We asked the waiter to please bring the other salad. Again, he barely speaks to us. Wait another 10-15 minutes, and my husbands meal comes... not mine. We ask for my salad again. Our glasses are empty at this point and have been for 15 minutes. My husband finishes his food. He said it was just okay and nothing to rave about. My salad FINALLY comes after waiting for 40 minutes. I had to wait another 15 minutes to finally get my food. I waited an hour - AN HOUR - for a couple of sushi rolls. Our glasses were not refilled until then. At that point, I was done with our entire experience. As someone who has been a waitress in the past, the kind of service we were given was absolutely unacceptable. I'm always patient with bad waiters but I was close to asking for the manager/owner or just walking out. In the restaurants defense, I saw all other tables being waited on quickly and with a personal touch (the waiters were cheery and actually made small talk). The only reason I got my sushi was because of another waiter who could tell we were upset. The other waiters (and my great sushi) are only reasons I'm even giving this review 2 stars. My advice to Sushi Thai, fire the waiter or you will continue to lose potential customers. It's completely unacceptable. If it hadn't been for him... I can guarantee we would come in again. But I can not and will not wait an hour for something I can get in 10 minutes at another location with exceptional customer service. read more

It's not a bad restaurant, but it's just not as good as Thai Pepper. They have a good selection of (somewhat pricy) sushi, and the Thai dishes are pretty standard, but the execution always lets me down a bit. When you ask for spice to be added to your dish, it's like they sprinkle cheap red pepper flakes onto your food just before it comes out - it tastes like I'm eating rice at a pizza joint. The last few times I've been, the table was sticky. The service is good, though, and the remodel has really helped with the ambience. read more

"We have a No Return Policy." This unbelievable statement, in regards to a full bowl of cold soup that I had asked to have taken off the check at the beginning of my meal, came as we were handed our bill. But there was plenty of disappointment before we ever got that far... - Environment at entrance was super strange. All lights off, windows shut... Looked like we were walking into an abandoned house. - Service was slow - I could barely understand my mumbling, less-than-energetic waiter (when we arrived I honestly thought we had woken him from a nap). - My miso soup was served cold ... And as you know, I later found out I would have to pay for it anyway. - My ginger salad had goopy mayo dressing ... Not what I was expecting. - Sushi just not the best. But what really secured my experience at Sushi Thai as the worst service of my life was when I heard about their "no return policy." Note: My waiter didn't ask why I was returning the soup, he just took it away. He never stopped by to ask if the meal was ok or if we needed anything. There was no mention of any "no return policy" anywhere on the menu or posted on the walls. all. So, because you served me low-quality food and didn't care to ask how you could solve my problem, and you took my full bowl of untouched soup away from me, I have to pay for it anyway? What kind of customer service is this? A "No return policy" is the most blatant message I've ever gotten, saying that this restaurant has absolutely zero concern for customer satisfaction. Went there on a weekday night. There were only 2 tables of customers. That should be a sign, but we still wanted to try it. We ordered California Roll which was not fresh at all. The imitation crab tasted awful. I echo other reviews that this is not a place for sushi. We also ordered mint chicken with steam white rice. Part of the steam rice was hardened due to sitting in a rice cooker under warm setting for too long. So you can tell how slow the place is. Chicken was over cooked. Service is ok. I have only ordered delivery from here, so my review is not going to be 100% accurate. The food is grade A, especially for around the Warner Robins area. The only problem I saw was that in order for them to make the delivery, you have to have an order that is $20 or more, so I saw myself buying $29 worth of sushi and Thai food. read more

Not what we were expecting. Hibachi filet and shrimp was like fajitas and the drunken noodles were so drowned in fish sauce it tasted like Captain Ds. Restaurant policy however is not to exchange or fix it once you order. Waitress did an awesome job trying to get it fixed. The kitchen just "recooked" it with different sauces added. Chicken Katsu was a big disappointment. One small piece of tough and chewy chicken. Fried rice was just as bad. Katsu sauce the only taste was salt. I have had this many times in other authentic place and this is not even close. I came to Sushi Thai for lunch and The experience was just ok. I would have gotten more sushi but they are very strict on their no substitutions for their lunch combos. Eating Kosher is hard at any restaurant you go to but it was merely a request to have all tuna sushi instead of crab, shrimp and tuna that was the difference between me spending $20+ instead of $10+. I guess in the end they helped me save money so I guess I should be grateful! Lol. On their lunch menu there is a lot more Thai and cooked options then sushi. For some reason I am having a hard time finding a restaurant that is primarily sushi. Being new to the area it is hard to get accustomed to somethings I guess. Overall the sushi was decent, the service was just ok(inspire of being one of the 2 tables in the whole place), and the miso soup that I had to ask for(that comes with my meal) came with a dingy spoon for me to eat it with, albeit the bowl it came in was cute. Overall I'm torn on coming back here. I may have to keep exploring the area for other sushi restaurants. read more

Very disappointed with the service today. Me and my family went in with our intentions to get some great sushi. Well the owner did sat us at our table. The restaurant was not crowded at all, maybe 5 tables occupied. Not one time did a server greet us or say I be right with you. We had been sitting for seven to eight minutes.. That is unacceptable in any establishment. So we got up to leave and I did tell the manager up front to what occurred, since she is the one whom sat. She replied "oh no".
