I've ordered here a few times but to go and it's always been consistent. My hub and I finally dined in. It's a cute, cozy modern style place with consistently delicious food. We ordered the special gyoza, country girl roll, salmon lover roll, vegetable tempura and 3 piece nigiri. We loved every dish, gyoza was plump and juicy, country girl roll was not too heavy with amazing citrus sauce, salmon lover roll was fresh, tempura was my hubs fave since it was lightly batter with just the right crispness and the nigiri was simple but tasty. Really enjoyed dinner at Sushi to the Moon! I am excited that a good sushi restaurant has come to Leander. The sushi was fresh and service was fast. Everything was beautifully plated and the interior aesthetic is gorgeous. The otoro melted in our mouths and the oysters were my favorite tapas. My only suggestion is to have real king crab in the chirashi bowl instead of imitation crab and to substitute the cooked shrimp for raw ebi :) will be back again soon! read more

We had an amazing time here! Jazmine was beyond wonderful! I came with my family of 9 including my 3 nieces. Jazmine was so accommodating and gave the girls some toys and stickers. It was good but not great. I felt like the roll selection was lacking. The room needs more to dampen the sound. It's loud and echos.

Loved the salmon lover roll! It was in a new part of town I hadn't seen yet so it was fun to find in the little shopping area all lit up at night. The inside was bright and full of bamboo and airy. We sat at the sushi bar and had a lovely experience. Best miso soup in the Austin area that I've had (and I've had a lot!). We had the edamame, chicken karaage, Napa valley roll, and the chefs choice nigiri. All were exceptional and the service was awesome all around. The nigiri was incredible, I'm not a huge eel fan and this may have started to change that. The toro was excellent as well. All of that was about $100 total after tax and tip which is honestly about what we spend at any sushi place in the area, but the quality here is definitely in the top 3 for more casual sushi (for reference we like Ebisu and Sushi Koen as well). We're looking forward to having such a good place closer to home and will be back! read more

Casual relaxing atmosphere where the staff are very down to earth and very nice to talk to! Their oysters were beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious! As a Salmon conaseur I had to try their Salmon lover roll and it was to die for , a great mix of raw and cooked salmon! I've been waiting for this place to open for a while now, and they finally opened last week! Even though they are soft opening, there is plenty on the menu to choose from! Their food is really tasty and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good lunch deal or a great dinner. My personal favorites so far are the chashu don, and the salmon lover roll. The seared salmon on the salmon lover roll tasted so amazing with the delicious salmon eggs. The pork belly in the chashu don was melt-in-your mouth good!! Love the pickled veggies. The Melting Albacore was amazing. I would eat that all day long. Service was great and had a great time there.

They are still in their "soft opening", so the menu is limited. However, what they have is extremely good. So good, in fact, that since discovering this place, we leave the much closer sushi restaurants near home behind and go here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to them adding more items to the menu, although there's plenty on the current menu for us. The dining area is modern and pleasant (although we have always gotten to-go), but it is too bright as someone mentioned in another review. read more

They don't have any house or hot sake, just bottles of cold. The dining area is minimalistic and clean, with great lighting. Our server, Maggie, was super attentive. We had a great time! Everything was delicious. My husband is a big sushi eater, but I'm not. I mostly stick to vegetarian and was so thrilled to find lots of vegetarian friendly dishes on the menu. Yesterday I visited this restaurant for the 1st. time. it was late lunch time and there were aprox 9 patrons and at least 3 employees. Definately not busy. My daughter and grandson ordeted rolls and my wife and i ordered chicken rice bowls. While my daughter and grandson's order arrived promply, ours did not. After waiting awhile for our food to arrive, i told my daughter and grandson to start eating. i asked waitress about our food and she sait she would check. Our food did not arrive until 20 min. AFTER they finished eating! No explanation on why so late. We asked for a to go box for our food and left. No apology or explainstion on why it took 45 min for a simple rice bow to be prepared. Last time we will ever eat there. read more
