It's a nicer looking place than expected from the outside. This isn't a place to judge by the looks though. It's about $3 a roll. The rolls are kind of small. Basic looking. The however are a great value. Got the Avocado Roll and the Vegetable Roll. There's a pretty good amount of choices for vegetarians. Avocados were fresh. The other roll was filled with asparagus, avocados, carrots, and cucumbers and was a more filling one for lunch. For sure it's not quite the best place around here to get sushi but it's not that bad. It still has okay flavor and the service is mostly friendly. The rolls are pretty small but these usually have cheap prices.

The food came out honestly very quickly for just one person in the kitchen plus the owner, and with other tables already with tickets in, but I would not necessarily say this is a super fast in and out experience if you're in a rush. The take out container was packaged in a thick brown bag (no breaking through the bottom of the bag on the walk home here!) and the owner cashed me out himself. He was very kind but did not really engage in any of the small talk I attempted while waiting for the screens to load and payment to process. The Pad Thai was packed super neatly and cleanly in a plastic take out box. The serving size was deceptively large, and they pack in a heavy serving of noodles and bean sprouts and your protein of choice (chicken for me!) into this little box. I was shocked at how fresh everything tasted! This was a perfect Pad Thai and I will absolutely order this a million times over living right down the block. There were plenty of fresh bean sprouts, the noodles were cooked perfect, it wasn't dry or drowning in sauce, a little lime wedge on the side and I was a happy camper. First off, I'd like the bill to be itemized but at a minimum I want to see the meal items subtotal and then the tax added after that and then the "grand total". Lumping the tax in seems deceptive to me when it comes to figuring out a tip. This seems like a way to pad the tip without telling us they are padding the tip.:)

The last two times we went there we've had a new server(younger female). Both times she's screwed up our order. The first time, she forgot an appetizer all together and I had to ask for the bowl of rice that was supposed to come with it. The second time, my wife's dish came out first. I could see my dish sitting in the window for at least five minutes before she decided to grab it and bring it to a table that wasn't ours. The table she brought it to had ordered the same dish literally 2 minutes before mine was put in the window. She brought it to him before his appetizer was even up. He had specifically asked for zero spice and no peppers. The dish I ordered was a spice level 3. Not the best screw up when someone specifically asks for zero spice. She then avoided our table entirely and offered no explanation or apology. The younger male then brought us our check. We've loved this spot as a solid go to because we live walking distance and it doesn't disappoint. Moving forward, we'll probably opt for something else in the neighborhood. I won't be going back as long as she's working there. Food is good and prices are fair. Thumbs down on the drop in service quality.
