We got the oyster shooters, which was interesting with the pico de gallo, but it worked! The uni scallops were delicious and super fresh. The main rolls we got were sexy lady, kamakaze, and special spider roll. Everything was delicious and I'll definitely be coming back again!

Especially to save anybody else from what we had to endure. We came in for dinner after a long, exhausting day of running errands.... myself, my sister, and my 83-year-old mother. We were seated modestly quickly, which gave us hope. Unfortunately, that was the only thing that went right. Shortly after being seated, a man who appeared to be our server approached us not to take our order, but to tell us he was "too busy" to wait on us and that someone else would come. That set the tone immediately. When another server finally did come over, things didn't improve. It took OVER 15 minutes for Server to acknowledge us, And another 10 minutes just to take our order, while we watched multiple tables who were seated after us being served promptly and efficiently. At that point, we should have left. I eventually received an appetizer, but my mother and sister received nothing. As I sat there awkwardly picking at my food, we watched surrounding tables (who arrived after us), receive full meals before us. We flagged down our server, and only then were we casually informed that my mother's meal had been given to another table. No apology beforehand. No proactive communication. No attempt to correct it until we had to ask. Let that sink in: an elderly woman sat there (over a hour now), waiting, ignored, while her meal was served to someone else and no one thought to inform us. At that point, we got up and left. The front door staff were the only bright spots. They were polite and immediately got the manager. The manager assured my sister that the situation would be "handled," that we would be contacted, and that some form of recompense would be made for the experience. She was also so apologetic... But her apologies were as devoid is truth as her personality was devoid of any humanity. So her promises that she would reach out that we would be recompensed well...That never happened. No call. No follow-up. No accountability. As for the food? I can't fairly review it because we never actually received it. The small portion of appetizer I did get was nothing memorable, and the sake was honestly subpar. What I can review is the service, (if one can call it that,) and it was abysmal. Disorganized, inattentive, and completely lacking in basic professionalism and respect. Promises were made and not kept, which makes the experience even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are too many places that actually value their customers' time, dignity, and experience. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

The dishes are served little by little at a deliberate pace, allowing you to actually enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Each plate felt intentional and thoughtfully prepared rather than filler leading up to a main dish. The progression of flavors was well done, starting lighter and gradually moving into richer, more satisfying bites. Fish quality was fresh and clean, with a good balance between rice and toppings. Presentation was simple and neat, keeping the focus on the quality of the food. Service paired nicely with the course format, with plates arriving at the right time without needing to ask. Staff provided explanations when appropriate but didn't hover. The ambiance was calm and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the flow of the meal. Portions weren't oversized, but by the end the meal felt complete and satisfying. This is a great spot if you appreciate a slower, more intentional sushi experience instead of rapid, all-at-once ordering. I'd definitely return, especially for the course format. Plenty of seating with warm wooden furniture. Soft classical jazz music in the background. On a Saturday night, only a couple other tables were taken. We were seated immediately and provided the waters we requested. The menu is extensive but the server knew exactly when we'd finished deciding and came to take our order. The miso soup and salad arrived under 5 mins after ordering. The salad had a fresh orange dressing that provided a refreshing citrus flavor and no mayo so it felt quite light and flavorful. Once we finished the soup and salad, the sushi arrived quickly. The nigiri salmon was excellent - melt in your mouth quality. The nigiri tuna was definitely the best I've had. And I loved the maki. The negi hamachi had far larger pieces of fish than I've seen anywhere else. And the sushi rice had some sesame seeds in it, giving it a slight bit of satisfying crunch. We should have stopped there but everything was so delicious and fresh that we ordered the mango crunch maki for dessert. The mayo was fresh and ripe, offering a succulent contrast to the sweet soy drizzled on top. But it was a little too sweet for my husband. The crunch came from what we think might be puffed corn. I didn't like the crunch and felt it detracted from the mango. Others would probably love it but I'll stick with the fish! Can't wait to return!
