The spicy tuna handroll is a staple and always made to order with fresh ingredients and full to the brim. The tempura shrimp handroll is amazing as well with both spicy Mayo and teriyaki. My first time coming here after a coworker recommended it. I think it was very standard in terms of conveyor sushi and was up to par, but not exceptional. The staff were especially kind though. The seared salmon was over-seared (basically cooked through) so it was more dry than I was used to. Wow, we've been looking for a good sushi restaurant ever since the quality of our favorite sushi place went to hell after covid. But, I didn't think we'd find a really good sushi restaurant so close, right here in Beaverton and Murray Hill! We were taken a bit by surprise and as a result I don't have any photos. I will update this review with photos the next time I go! First, this is a conveyer-belt sushi bar, which has its own kind of ambiance. It's fun! You get to watch the chefs make the sushi and can easily ask them to make specialty items for you, which is always nice! For example, be sure to order a spicy tuna handroll! So delicious! It was completely packed with salmon! These can be a bit tricky to eat, especially if you eat sushi like an American and dip it in your soy sauce/wasabi slurry Mix. However, ours were made perfectly and did not fall apart! Oh, another thing I ordered directly from the chef was unagi. OMG, I got two pieces of unagi (eel) that were huge and soaked in that delicious sauce. So tasty! The restaurant is nice and clean, the staff is friendly, and the seafood is very fresh. Lastly, the price was reasonable, folks! For what we had, and we ate our fill, we had no complaints. I am looking forward to going back again. This time we'll go closer to dinner time. Today I decided to take a mental health day. After taking my son to D-Bat I tagged my daughter out and we went to try a new (at least for me) sushi train restaurant. Walking in, was kind of empty but it I was about 12:45. The restaurant is very welcoming with upbeat music playing on the intercom. We sat ourselves and then the adventure began. 1) Fire Storm Rolll---Great flavor and amazing heat. Jalapeños are fresh with seeds and not pickled, however there was a lot of white pith left. Salmon is fresh and delicious. Spicy mayo also adds some extra heat 2) Hawaiian Roll: Rice is very well cooked. Tuna has good flavor, but the texture was a little mushy but still palatable. Crab salad is fresh and delicious. Avocado adds a creamy aspect. 3) Tuna Takatii--this is not a usual style of sushi that I get, but I couldn't resist because it looked so good. The tuna had a peppery flavor but there was also a surprising sweetness (sliver of fried garlic) to it as well which balanced it. 4) Oregon Roll- Finished the meal with a basic roll. Salmon was delicious. Crab salad and cucumber added an additional flavor profile. Today we found they make some specialty options that are, somehow, even more amazing than the standard menu. By far my favorite sushi place in the area! A lot of their plates have an extra garnish that enhances the flavor. I really love the red and green onion and roe on the salmon toro specifically! The crispy garlic chips on the tuna was excellent as well. My favorite is the salmon skin roll which had a piece of pickled daikon that balanced the flavors so well, that I ate it before I took a picture. Service is quick and efficient, just as it needs to be- I like that there's pretty minimal interaction unless I ask someone to place the order. Makes it a great place to grab a quick and delicious bite. I will note that the stools are all backless and rather small, so if you're looking to sit somewhere for a long time, this might not be the most comfortable pick- but the food was good so I don't mind. read more

I love this place. Even during the pandemic. They are limited to takeout because it is a track place. Takeout is not the same experience but the are working well with what the have. You walk in with your mask on. Pickup a clipboard. Pick out what you want. Hand the order to the cashier. Pay. Wait as they build your order. The order is nicely bagged up with everything you need. Went in to do a carry out order for a weekday evening and with the pandemic, this business was very clear in their set up-one way entrance and exit with social distancing enforced with marks on the floor. A little station set up to mark your to go order paper, pens labeled new or used, and hand sanitizer at the station table among a picture menu and a picture of other items offered too. For items not on the paper, you can add them or the employee will write them in for you. I ordered a tuna roll 6pc, one order of salmon nigiri (2pc), hot night roll, tempura shrimp hand roll, and order of shrimp+veggie tempura. Was told it would be 20 minutes and if done early I would get a call. Paid and was asked if I wanted a receipt. As I went in to get my order, the employee was going to call me so timimg was right on. Was asked if I needed utensils, sauces, and sides like ginger plus wasabi. Upon coming home the tempura was still warm and was a lot of pieces, two of the vegetables (carrot, onion, broccoli, mushroom) and two shrimp. The most pieces we've had at a sushi restaurant! The hot night roll was a nice balance of the fried shrimp tempura, shrimp on top and sweet chili sauce. The hand roll was stuffed full and the spicy mayo hit the spot, the cucumber added the crunch too. The tuna roll and salmon were nice and added a different style to the other items. The items were filling for sure and it seems that they have a lot of items aside from sushi which is nice for a variety of tastes. The communication was clear and safety measures on point! read more

Sushi town is by far my favorite sushi spot in the PDX area for price point in regards to sushi and service quality. It is a sushi track restaurant, so the restaurant isn't necessarily full service. The sushi is awesome. They don't have incredibly complex expensive rolls, rather they have many small and simple options. This is what makes sushi town excellent- it's simple but incredibly delicious and affordable. I have never left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied or like I spent too much money as I have with many other sushi restaurants. The ambiance is quite entertaining, I wouldn't consider it a super 'romantic' restaurant but it's a high energy, fun, and affordable date night location. Lastly, I have to commend Chef Nick.
