They use way too much rice, minimal other ingredients, and not very fresh & tasty. Ordered 2-3 times, so not just 1 mediocre meal.

As many other reviews will attest, this is an excellent sushi spot. Their fish is high quality and…read morethere's a wide variety of nigiri and sashimi to choose from. They do have a large menu besides sushi so I've been branching out into their other items. This time I tried the miso ramen, and the broth was flavorful, not too salty, and it felt complete without needing to order extra add-ins. Better than some dedicated ramen shops I've been to. They might still get busy on weekends, but we went on a weeknight, it was pretty quiet and the food came out quickly.

My partner and I have been craving sushi and wanted to try a new spot, Noa Sushi was heavily…read morerecommended online- and I'm so glad we gave it a try! Their menu is pretty large, with so many options to choose from if you're not really wanting sushi or just wanting to change it up a bit. We were sat down pretty promptly for a walk in at 6 pm! The space was nice to sit down with friends and loved ones for a bite to eat. We came starved, so we practically ordered the whole menu hahah. Nigiri: the salmon was superb. Very sweet, melt in your mouth, perfect mouthfeel! That was our first bite of the day and it really set the tone for the rest of what we ordered. We then had the kanpachi, madai, escolar, and ikura. I really enjoyed the madai and the escolar. Those were both buttery but had a great texture/chew. The kanpachi was fine, I wasn't expecting it to be slightly charred, but that's a personal preference! Next was the ika and the Hokkaido scallop. The Ika was delicious! Everywhere I go I always order the ika, and the Ika here was just as tasty and chewy. They added a shiso leaf with it, giving it more of a different flavor profile, slightly spiced/bitter. But I quite enjoyed that. The Hokkaido scallop was soo incredibly tasty. It was soft, bouncy, and sweet! No fishiness that can sometimes be found with scallops imo. Lastly for nigiri we got the spot shrimp. I thought this was just okay, similar to how I felt about the ikura. Not bad but there were better hits with the nigiri we ordered. Rolls: hamachico was my favorite roll we got out of the two. The yellowtail was so light tasting it almost felt like a palate cleanser with all the food we ordered, it was really good I'd order this again! The lobster roll was okay, I think the chunks of fried lobster on it was great, the base was like a slightly more elevated California roll as my partner described it. It was overall good. Negimaki: this was so so juicy with each bite and full of flavor! Would definitely order this one again. Lobster karaage: the breading to lobster was spot on. These were large fluffy chunks of lobster with just the perfect amount of crunchy breading. Paired with the spicy mayo and the tartar sauce- so delish! Miso soup: it was packed with clams, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, scallops, tofu, etc. the pot was PACKED. I didn't even get a photo, but I absolutely loved this. I'm not really a miso soup girl, but seeing how much others raved about it, we had to order it and I'm so glad we did. Best miso soup I've ever had! The star of the dinner was their ankimo, hands down. I've tried so many others, but this was so soft, creamy, perfect umami. I would've ordered seconds if we didn't have so much other food already. Overall dinner was delicious, and I definitely have my eye on so many other menu items to try next time!

He kept saying how good and fresh the fish was ... even the soy sauce was really good. It was also my first time trying agedashi mochi, and wow, it was so good! Soft and stretchy on the inside with such a nice texture. Definitely a nice surprise! I also ordered the yuzu soda, which was super refreshing. It wasn't too busy today, so the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The staff was nice and everything went smoothly. We had a really lovely birthday dinner and would definitely come back!

Craved for some good quality fried foods, gotta spend my quota here at Sushi Kiichi!…read more I rarely eat fried foods but when I do, this is def. on my list. It was busy as there were two servers but the service was a bit slow. Hope they can find some help or rest after the busy day! Mom and I each got two fried foods so we could share and have some for another meal, too. Ebi fry: always good, flakey, and it went well with the tartar-like sauce, tonkatsu: nice thick slices and the batter stayed onto the meat (unlike another place haha). Kaarage: the pieces were a lot bigger than the usual karaage at other places but still good and juicy. Assorted tempura: I liked the assortment as there were quite a lot of veggies and of course the shrimp! We also loved the croquettes as they're so soft and fluffy on the inside and the other side dish with a crunchy texture and the little fried squid (or octopus?) I wish I could order more of those! Can't forget the miso soup as it's not salty at all (unlike the other Japanese restaurants I've been to) and they had different types of tofu inside- delish!

Came here for dinner on a Thursday after hearing good things…read more We thought it being a Thursday that we would be in and out. That was not the case. This place is quite popular so even for a Thursday there were a lot of people dining in. On top of that they had a large number of people popping in for takeout and delivery. Lots of business is a good sign. Unfortunately they need more servers or faster ones. We were seated right away but it was probably twenty minutes before someone came to take our drink order. At that point we had already filled out our sushi order. So I was hopeful that it would speed things along since they wouldn't have to come back. But no. We waited for a very long time for everything. The sushi itself once we got it was okay. We tried a variety so we could get an idea of the offering. The size and price paid felt fair. My husband and I were really hoping to find a sushi place to go to regularly. Our favorites are a bit far so we were hoping for something local. While I could see myself coming in every once in while when I have a lot of extra time, I don't see us being regulars.
