I usually love the filet mignon roll but it looks like they torched it on the tray this time and it burnt some of the rolls rice.

your actual food. Which in my case was chicken katsu and oh god there was SO MUCH. All for 15$?! What a steal. Everything was super tasty and the katsu sauce wasn't straight bbq like some places tend to do. Also, it looks like it was recently renovated maybe or maybe it's a brand new restaurant but considering friends went there a few months ago, I'm thinking just updates but that's neither here nor there.. Either way, staff is super friendly, it's super cute inside, and the food is delicious! There's an all you can eat sushi menu but that'll be a try for next time. 9/10 would food again.

Our first time here. Experience was OK. For my wife and me, the environment was too loud. They had a packed house. Food was OK but we waited around 29 minutes for our second round with nothing on the table. Their fish quality was decent but selection was limited. My biggest compliant is that they had a limit of 20 pieces of sashimi per person. If there's a limit, then it's not all you can eat right? Also in my opinion, their tables are squeezed to tightly. Waitresses are brushing upon you when they go between tables

This is the new Kitchen Appetizer roll and it is delicious! Food was great. Staff extremely friendly. Restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming.

This was our first visit to use a gift card we received. What a fun place! AYCE sushi, and it's really good. Our server was super friendly and the sushi came out really fast. We ordered spicy Kani salad. There are so many different versions. This one was just crab so next time we will get seaweed salad also and just mix them together. The shumai and gyoza were tasty, and the rolls were fresh and creative. The tempura was amazing, we will definitely be back!

Great place for groups! They have a great selection for all you can eat sushi. The fish is really fresh and the staff accommodates any requests! We were able to do three rounds of sushi as a group of four. We ordered 40 pieces of shumi, brunt our tongues when they first came out but they are soooo addictive. Best way to end the meal was you multiple bowls of green tea ice cream. This was our second time coming here and the place just keeps getting better!! We will be back with more friends very soon!!

Checked out another new place after relocating here from CT. I will say that there are more options for Asian cuisine than CT but that doesn't necessarily mean that the quality is there. Let me explain. Stopping in on a busy Thursday night we were sat near a much larger table with a couple adults and kids. That can only mean one thing for the rest of the tables, trouble. Sadly the service was lackluster because the larger table ordered two sushi boats which tied up two of the sushi chefs preparing that while the last chef was stuck taking care of more takeout orders than the tables that stopped in for a bite. The wait staff being understaffed were stretched thin with the manager taking care of takeout orders while one waitress was handling tables and the other supporting her but was a clearly still training. We placed our orders and caught up with each other about work while we tried to get their attention to place our orders in. Ordering our typical calamari, mushroom soup, spicy kani salad along with seaweed salad they all came out pretty quickly when we were able to put our order in. The kani salad looked and tasted like it was mixed with Mayo and sriracha as it had a deep red hue to it which I haven't seen in other sushi places in CT, NJ and DE where I've had my sushi usually. Mushroom soup was the same as I've had elsewhere. The mushrooms looked like they were added into the broth just prior to serving so they don't wilt too much. Shumai was fried and hot when we bite into it, tasting shrimp and crab with our bites. We ordered a couple of rolls including a filet mignon which wasn't filet but beef on a roll, giving me a surf and turf feel in my mouth. Other rolls include a pink lady with pink seaweed wrap, a mango roll that didn't have enough mango along with a yummy eel roll. My go to is always sashimi which we placed along with our rolls but came out a long while after we finished our rolls. I joked that we were gonna get stuffed with the rice and not finish our sashimi and two of my party tapped out before that order came. You can't go wrong with the red clam, salmon and eel though my friend stated that the eel was torn up a little too much and wasn't slices like the other fishes. The peppered tuna was dry from the pepper and I personally prefer it in a vinegar sauce to keep it moist. The white tuna was better than I've had it elsewhere it wasn't as watery like other places which is a plus as I've always bit into it and it always seems waterlogged. We know that orders are handcrafted and prepared order by order but when one table is eating their sushi boat, take out orders are being completed and the other patrons along with us are looking at the sushi bar hoping the next dish is theirs then you might want to reevaluate your priorities. Especially if you are going to raise the price from around $21 to around $26 then you'll need to ensure that customers are paying for both quality of food and quality of service.

Awesome place, the all you can eat sushi is an awesome deal and it's so fresh. The service is great, love the paper menus. The place is very cute as well! It can get very busy, and they utilize the space well.

This is the only all you can eat sushi buffet that lets you order sashimi! (Max 20 pieces pp, weekends only). For $30, I think that's a steal because you're not overfilling on rice! We had a group of 9, so sharing multiple rolls was the goal. It's a little difficult to share with this large of a group because of the table set up, but we managed. They also had a little difficulty with our order, like they have never had a large group before. Overall very good, and nice ice cream selections at the end!

I love this restaurant, food comes out very fast and lovely weight stuff. I come here very often and I'm very pleased with every single time I come. I love all you can eat, the ice cream is extremely good. Food comes out fast and it is extremely well prepared. I absolutely love it here and will be returning again soon. First time trying an AYCE sushi place, lots of options that aren't sushi as well. I found there was lots of different things to try, I do wish the picture menu better represented what you would get, but that is how stock photos are. The sushi rolls were still very pretty though. They have handrolls as options as well. They even have green tea ice cream and red bean ice cream that I didn't try because I was so stuffed from everything else. Hope to give them a try next time. 4 stars because they seemed to miss some things on our checklist/gave us the wrong item. read more

Our favorite AYCE in Delaware. Sushi is quality tasting. You can get soup, salad, appetizers, sushi, and ice cream in the AYCE option. We usually get the kani and seaweed salad (combine them together, trust me), shrimp tempura and tempura crab stick. For my husband and I we order 4 or 5 rolls and we'll be stuffed by the end. We have tried each of those rolls and cant complain about any. read more

I enjoy the sushi here although I'm no connoisseur. The ambience is ok but the service excellent. It's way better than going to a sushi buffet for example, with a large selection of sushi rolls that are made reasonably quick upon request. I think it is a little chilly but that's true in most places. read more

Went There for the first time based on someone's recommendation. Staff was attentive. Got the all you can eat menu. Large selection. Asked to have ordering explained to us so we knew how much to order. Small portions allowed us to try many things. We didn't realize but know for next time that we can exchange the soy wrapper on the sushi w seaweed. Tried sushi , specialty rolls and the sashimi. All were really good. Great presentation. Only reason for the 4 vs 5 is the sashimi has the skin on so a weird texture but tasted fresh. Volcano roll was a definite favorite. We will be back. read more

After seeing the advertisement on Facebook and Yelp, as avid sushi and sashimi eaters, we decided to try Sushi Xtreme since their menu offered sashimi as an AYCE option. Service was fast for the first round but slowed down considerably afterwards, despite having three sushi chefs at the bar. Their sushi is more rice than filling, extremely salty and their sashimi is paper thin. The pieces are "toy-sized" like those videos on Tastymade Tiny Kitchen! I mean, I have never seen such a stingy serving of sashimi especially for 25$ a person! Definitely not worth the time if you're looking for decent sushi or sashimi, nothing about this place is genuine. This place caters to those that have no idea about real sushi or sashimi at all. Of course we can't always go to an authentic Japanese sushi place (not that there is any in Delaware). In that case, save your money and go to either Hibachi Buffet on Kirkwood Highway or Asian House on Rt 40. read more

Sushi Xtreme is extremely terrible. The service is horrible and you will wait at least 10 minuets to even be acknowledged. We even witnessed a couple wait so long to order that they left. We placed our order and it took them 45 minutes to make one simple sweet potato roll. They are too busy making door dash orders to pay attention to their in store customers. The sushi also tasted spoiled. If you want good all you can eat sushi and reasonable prices, go to Sakura on Kirkwood Highway. read more

I wasn't inpressed by anything but the service - which was kind and accommodating. Giant pitcher of water was most welcome. But 2/3 of their special rolls are spicy, and the chefs too new to sushi making to do it well. One of them was making rice balls in the completely wrong shape, neither of them could cut rolls into even pieces, and the sashimi were a) tiny and b) just dropped on the plate. There was nothing under it and no attempt to make any of what was served look attractive. And I seriously confused them when I had the audacity to ask for one roll to be made without crunch. Also the chef held the torch way too close to a roll and it consequently tasted of nothing but butane. I loved beibg able to spec how much wasabi and ginger I wanted It would have been nice for the sushi chefs to pay attention to what was requested. Some obvious basic rolls like tuna avocado or salmon avocado were absent from the AYCE menu, and the regular menu has a couple typos: tokosu not takosu, narato not naruto. Oh and only the last of four cups of tea were hot. Finally, they have a light board with messages on it mostly not understandable but one was clear: it said "$price$ =tips in sushi jar". This, I thought, was tacky as heck, and proved once and for all that I do not have to return. read more

Horrible experience ordering tonight, a Saturday night. I placed an order then called a few minutes later to ask if 45 minutes would be alright to show up. The person who answered said that was fine. I showed up 40 minutes later and stood in the doorway with 5-6 other people. They didn't acknowledge any of us for 17 minutes (yes, I checked my watch). While I don't like to be a Karen, this just isn't ok. They should pay a college kid $15/hour to stand there, check on orders, and reassure customers that everything will be coming. I feel so bad for the Uber Eat/GrubHub/etc. drivers that were there with me. It makes them look bad for a long delivery time. When I finally rung the old school service bell, the woman there started yelling so much that everyone else said, "Oh, man she's definitely pissed off at you!" I cancelled my order and moved on. Don't order here on a weekend for food, it's just not worth it. read more

Honesty I'm disappointed. First off the staff was not very knowledgeable about the dishes. I have dietary restrictions and asked the waiters questions about what dishes contained and told them things that we couldn't eat. They were unsure about a lot of things and served us sauces we could not eat. I just wish they were more informed so they could answer our questions and serve us food that was safe. Second, we ordered avocado rolls. Half of them were bad avocado. They were very brown and inedible. They had either been sitting out or were just bad. The other food was just satisfactory. Not awful but not great. I will not be going here again. A great option is Kyoto which is right down the street and is a favorite of mine. read more

The most honest and genuinely great people. I will keep giving this place my business any time I am in that area. I love this place!!! I have had all you can eat sushi on a buffet, which sits out until someone eats it. This place brings you out fresh sushi that you pick from a menu they allow you to mark off! The sushi is yummy and you have no limits. This isn't just a great thing because you can stuff yourself, but because you can try items you have never tried without a fear of wasting money. First time eating sushi in De. This place is amazing. Sushi was fresh and our waitress was very friendly/ attentive. The interior of the building is spacious with nice music, not too loud. The seating is spread out so you have your privacy. Also, they serve alcohol. My favorite roll was the spicy California. I would highly recommend this place for Sushi. read more

I was very excited about trying this place. We took the 45 minute drive to have lunch, when we got there we were seated and ordered soda, sweet tea, and hot tea. We ordered several pieces and several sushi rolls. The rice was not cooked completey, and the seaweed wraps were on the hard side as well. We ordered the salmon and the fish was sliced rather thin so the rice to fish ratio was overbearing. The seaweed salad was really good. They had a large selection of sushi and rolls, but I honestly believe because so much rice is used, it really takes away the flavors that should be prominent in the rolls. The restaurant is nice and our server was pleasant. I wouldn't take the drive again to eat here. read more

The all you can eat sushi deal is the way to go!! The sushi does not sit out buffet style, it is all freshly made. Everything we ordered was delicious. Apps and other items are also included in the AYCE price. All of the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. My family and I will definitely be back! read more

They could not be more customer service oriented. They treated me better then family. I came in Solo sat at the sushi bar and was immediately greeted and served and they specifically offered me the all-you-can-eat option which is the best bar you can possibly find in the Delaware Valley it covers appetizers sushi ramen and tempura. For less than $30 you cannot only have an entire meal but a true trip two Japanese cuisine. Do yourself a favor and try this one this place is more than worth the trip no matter what distance you have to travel!!! read more

Did takeout for lunch at Sushi Xtreme in pike creek shopping center...DELICIOUS!!! Alaskan King roll and Red Hat roll...enjoyed both. Pieces are huge. I'll be back for the dining-in experience Didn't give it 5 stars b/c ordered house salad and there's not much to it, lot of iceberg lettuce 1/2 of a tomato slice few carrot strands. Nevertheless, the sushi was excellent!! And there are many spicy options, which I look forward to trying. Have been waiting for them to open and I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. read more

Just ate here for the first time. Food was very good. Appetizers, and sushi rolls were excellent. Loved the variety of food available for the buffet. For $22 for ayce on a Tuesday night was excellent. 10% off special made it even better. Service was quick but missed a few items we checked on our order sheet. Hence the four star rating. We will definitely go back. So much we didn't try. read more

Just tried this place last week. The place is small but cozy. We tried the all you can eat and it was amazing. It included soup and dessert not just the rolls which was surprising. Everything we tried was very good. The difficult part was choosing. There are tons of choices and then there are their special rolls. Suggest you start out on the conservative side because as soon as they see you have finished your first plate they come back with the menu so you can order more. read more

Hi, prices for Monday thru Fridays lunch are $18.50 per adult. Both sushi and kitchen included except the sashimi part. Weekend lunches are $26.50 full menu. (Please notice we are close between 2:30-4:30 for break Monday thru friday) thank you

Their "standard" rolls are bigger than the specialty rolls at most places. My favorite is the sweet heart roll (tempura sweet potato with spicy tuna and avocado on top). The teriyaki and hibachi meals are also great options (inexpensive, tasty, good portions) if you're not in the mood for sushi rolls. I almost always get the miso soup and it is some of the best miso soup I've had - always full of tofu and seaweed. We've also gotten the lunch bento boxes before and it is one of the best deals! I can usually get two meals out of it for only ~$13. The staff is friendly and the place itself is small and unassuming with only pick up/delivery available (no dine in option). I usually do an online order through their website and our food is almost always ready for pick up within 25 minutes.

This restaurant is located in the Fairfax Shopping Center right between Walgreens and Crab du Jour on Concord Pike, and there is plenty of free parking in the lot. When you walk in, you immediately know the place is authentic by the aroma of incense and the mini altars with daily offerings to Ông Địan and Thần Tài. The space itself is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating. The friendly staff attended to our needs right away, brought us water and menus, and took our orders. I ordered the Bún Đặc Biệt (house special vermicelli topped with a mix of grilled pork, shrimp, fresh herbs, and sliced chả giò), a bánh mì thịt heo nướng (grilled pork), a bánh mì thịt bò nướng (grilled beef), and a bánh mì chả lụa (pork meat loaf). My nephew ordered the Phở Tái Nạm Gầu (thinly sliced raw eye-round steak, well-done flank, and fatty brisket), while my wife ordered the Bún Chả Giò. The pho was amazing--authentic, savory, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The bun dishes were delicious and cool, hitting our appetites perfectly on a 90°+ day. .....Sushi Xtreme in Pike Creek has finally opened! Go for lunch M-F, the difference between $17 lunch and $25 dinner is sashimi as an option. Everything was so well done that you could actualy taste the freshness of the fish katsutzu and will never want to look at frozen fish patties again. The portions of tempura and fried things are small and sometimes listed as a single piece, so be sure to ask before ordering. Trust me, the quality will spoil you. Though Gyoza were tinier than most of us are used to, their flavor was spot-on. If you are a seafood lover, this is the place for you! Be sure to check the table card listing ingredients in signature sushi, they may be slightly different from what you have tried in the past. Barbeque Eel slices truly melt in your mouth. Calamari were the size of onion rings. Tempura shrimp were panko'd and almost a hand long ( these are one if the items ordered by the piece). Water is delivered to the table in a clear pourable carafe with silver cups of ice, and the decor is minimalistically Steampunk. Word of warning, try not to over order; the only way to take leftovers home would be to pay by the piece over the price of what your meal already costs. I enjoy the sushi rolls from here--they have a great variety for AYCE. I recommend trying their Philadelphia, Crispy Fantasy, and Shrimp Tempura rolls. As for the appetizers, you can't go wrong with tempura anything. The ice cream is pretty good too, I always get the green tea flavor.
