On my second to last visit, I noticed that the quality of the menu items I usually ordered ( Guava Roll, used to be my favorite roll) was not the same. The rolls fell apart and honestly it just did not taste the same. Not to mention...

that they had increase the price of the menu items. My whole family fell ill, but we just thought it was a one time thing. Two weeks later we had sushi cravings again. We ordered our usuals and during the night my boy fell ill again vomiting and my daughter spent the night in the bathroom as well. Not going back. Hurts cause now my kids that used to love sushi are terrified of eating it ever again.

I love the the Tropical Tuna, Sishiato Salad, and a wide Keto menu. The shrimp tempura rolls are great. @Michel, @Betsy, @yorley do a fantastic job. Will come back! highly recommended

Start with my appetizer, a tropical tuna; fried plantain with spicy tuna on top. It was delicious with a little sweetness from the ell sauce. Avocado Tartar is on the top of my "must order" list. Fresh avocado you could tell from...

the color. Flavor was on point with enough ponzu sauce. Not too sour, not too light. Crispy shallot and red onion alsomake this dish so flavorful. Weston roll with shrimp temp, eel, and cream cream inside. Top with tuna, avocado, and seaweed salad. Good choice but nothing special or different from other sushi places. Maui roll was rock!!!! So delicious with spicy mayo, crab, and masago mixed inside. Top with deep-fried shrimp & honey mustard sauce. Perfect for "no-raw" sushi eater. Couldn't end my review without dessert :) Oreo Tempura...yes it came with ice cream! Save some room for this guys. Worth every calories I promise you.

I am a sushi lover and I also love Bao Buns, so when I saw them on the menu together I was excited! I ordered the shrimp bao bun & the Mango breeze roll. I tried the bao buns first, the buns weren't as soft as I'm use to, the shrimp inside was good though. I would say if the buns were a bit softer, they would have been a 10/10. The sushi was also different than I'm use to, it doesn't taste like your typical sushi, like it doesn't have the sushi taste if that makes sense but for a girl that was hungry, it hit the spot. The mango breeze roll wasn't a bad choice to be honest it just didn't taste like what you would expect from a traditional sushi joint. The service that I experienced wasn't bad, they were very kind and helpful over the phone. Overall not a bad experience and this place seemed popular among the locals.

You can dine in or order to go, or delivery, and with presentation and the taste of their rolls, they never disappoint. The dine-in ambiance in the Weston location is modern and minimalistic, and the service performed well to serve your needs. But the food quality is the go-to because they never disappoint, and my family and I have gone to this place for many years in a row. I ordered a dragon roll, usually my go-to favorite, and it was well presented and was delicious, as usual. Stop by and try something new, yourself!

Tiger roll, looks nothing like the photo & not sure of pink color, that is cream cheese NOT salmon. Breading was sweet, wrong!

1st time ordering, we got Kaizo soup and BOGO Tiger roll and Alaskan roll. Soup was okay, not what you expect from a place with Sushi in the name. Lots of liquid good amount of veggies but sad on protein. Roger roll was horrible. Some sort of sweet breading, ZERO salmon, just wrong , Alaskan roll, meh not worth the price even on a bogo.

This place is absolutely delicious! Every roll I have ever tried here has been amazing. The rebellion roll is definitely one of my favorites. They also have great poke bowls and incredible desserts. The staff is super friendly and Sandra (the owner) is one of the nicest people ever. We love coming here.

This was my first time here and first time at a sushi Latino fusion restaurant. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. All of the choices we were served were very tasteful. The fusions and combinations of sushi rolls or sashimi were well blended and nicely presented. The flavors worked well together. Unfortunately I don't remember all the names of the rolls we had but if you look at the pictures in the menu on their website you might be like me. It all looks so good and you want to try it all hahaha. Also the service was friendly and correctly executed. This place is worth your visit if you are a sushi lover and curious to try some fusions. This is by far the most exquisite sushi I've ever had. This it's our second time here and it certainly won't be our last. Each roll that we had was unique and delicious with the flavors balanced to perfection. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service was great!

This place was a bit on the pricier side. The drinks and sushi were all really good, and super tasty! The only thing is that it adds up quickly. We had two separate rolls and some appetizers but everything was super tasty and fresh! That was my fave part, it tasted like they had just made it! They also have some sauce that is to die for! Hidden gem! I've lived in weston forever but never came to this place! I went with a friend and there was only one other couple in the restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was very fun and hip! Our server was very attentive and the sushi was good! I will be back!

Holy [SUSHIATO] , the sushi(s), the experience, the ambiance & the service was a 10/10 :) My friend suggested we go here after class :) Besides, can't go wrong with Sushi Night! [What did I do during class time though ...? ] I thought of Sushi. Then I browsed through the menu on their website and a made list with my friend. That way once we get there, we order right away hehe. Once my friend and I got there, we were greeted by a guy, who happened to end up being our waiter. He told us we could sit anywhere we liked. My friend and I found a seating across the Sushi bar. The lovely waiter asked, " can I get any of two drinks ?" and I said, "We would like to. start off with water, please" :) While the lovely waiter went to get water for us. I did some browsing around the place with my eyes. The restaurant is very cute and cozy inside. They had interesting lights hanging from the ceiling (in a cool way). Adorable wall full of planters. I noticed they had 6 feet away stickers on the floor. The tables were kept at a distance. The place provided hand sanitizer. As always wearing mask is required before entering the place. The waiter came back with our waters. We said to him, "thank you" and will never forget it, the sweet waiter said, "My pleasure" -- very polite ! He then took our orders... behold I pulled my paper out of my wallet that had what my friend and I wanted to order! By the way, if you want the menu, you would need your phone to scan the QR Code, in which they pasted on the corner of the table. Anywaysss... We ordered (I listed what is in it via. Menu they have Online): #1 Sushiato Roll (Riceless) - $20 --- Salmon, tuna, white fish, krab, cream cheese & Masago, fried to perfection, with eel sauce on top - 8 Pieces #2 Tom-Su Special (Riceless) - $22 (We chose: Krab) --- Your selection of krab, tuna, salmon or steamed shrimp with avocado, cilantro & red onion wrapped in cucumber with ponzu sauce - 6 Pieces #3 Salmon Deluxe (Riceless) - $16 --- Krab salad, avocado & asparagus wrapped in salmon with onion dressing on top - 10 Pieces #4 Ohana Roll (Riceless) - $20 ---Spicy tuna, krab chips, avocado, and cream cheese with scallions, tobiko, and sweet chili sauce, fried to perfection - 8 Pieces $$ Sushiato's sushi(s) can be pricey $$ After the waiter took our order, my friend asked him if the art pieces are for sale. His response was, "yes they are". The Arts is located in the back where the adorable wall of planters is. There is event Art once you enter inside. Arts such as: a cute apple decor (can be used like a paper weight, hehe), small sculptors , and paintings too :) My thought about the sushi(s) was that they were presented nicely, fresh looking, and well I could not wait to dig in, hehe. I tried the Ohana Roll first (crunchy, tasted like chicken a bit lol), then the Salmon Deluxe (Delicious!), next Tom-su Special (The sauce was good with the cucumber for sure), and lastly, the Sushiato (Crunchy -- indeed was fried to perfection). I would rank my faves: #1 Salmon Deluxe #2 Tom-Su Special #3 Sushiato #4 Ohana Overall, I had a great time devouring the delicious sushi(s). It is always a fun experience when you have great company (my friend). I would definitely come back here with my friend, my mom, or even my boyfriend to try out other sushi(s) and dishes they have! [Oh!] Besides the Weston, Fl location. Sushiato has one in Brickell, Miami. :) As always, would recommend my Yelpers who love Sushi to come here (Weston, FL) & if not, go for Brickell, Miami & let me know your thoughts! Stopped in for a quick lunch. Small space. Clean with a friendly staff. One menu has the food listed and another has photos of their items. Sushi is done with a Latin flare and met that mark. Sushi was fresh and well prepared. read more

If you like your sushi Americanized, this is the place for you. What is Americanized? It is oversized, sweetened, fried, and calorically enhanced food. We heard great things about the innovative rolls at Sushiato. Online the menu items looked beautiful. However, reading through the descriptions, three things stood out. Most of the special rolls were made with cream cheese, fried seafood, or imitation crab aka Krab. Unfortunately, those are the three things I avoid in sushi. To add insult to injury, most of those rolls were accompanied by sweet sauces. That was a major deal breaker for me. They all seemed to be elaborate versions of a California roll. Determined to find out what all the fuss was about, I settled on the Dracula roll. My husband ordered the ceviche roll and a tuna crunch roll. Uber eats delivered. The packaging was excellent. I chose to plate the rolls on white dishes because they did not look appetizing in black plastic containers. The soy sauce came in small packages, like grocery store sushi. How did they taste? The Dracula roll was good although I did not care for the beet sauce. FYI, I like beets. But I don't find them to be a good pairing with sushi. The ceviche sauce on the ceviche roll was mostly mayonnaise. I made the mistake of pouring it over the sushi rendering it inedible for my husband who hates mayo. Poor thing, he was expecting a citrus based sauce. Wouldn't you? The tuna crunch roll was filled only with watercress tempura because we ordered it without cream cheese. All three rolls were messy to eat as they were so large. On the positive side, they were visually appealing and made with fresh ingredients. Sushiato certainly lived up to its hype as offering unusual sushi. Unfortunately, they didn't take sushi to the next level. They just took it too a different one. I rate based on my expectations and therefore could only give them two stars. read more

Came in for the first time with two friends on a Friday night. We ordered 5 rolls and two appetizers. The appetizers came out quickly and were very good. We had a salmon and tuna tartar and dumplings. We then ordered the rolls and it took an hour and a half for the rolls to arrive at the table. For such a small restaurant the wait was way too long in my opinion. I noticed that they were taking priority on the take out orders which is why it took so long to get our meal. I will try the restaurant out again since the rolls were a great portion, hopefully we don't have to wait that long again. read more

The food is great. But I saw a lady coming to pick up some to go order and the person at register was so nasty and talked to her pointing with her finger telling her that she has to go to the back door with such an awful attitude. That is way wrong. That woman needs CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Can't treat people with disrespect. Now. On the FOOD SERVICE side. She needs to tide her LONG HAIR BACK FOR SANITARY REASONS too. Be respectful and follow FOOD HANDLING RULES. read more

One of my fav places to go for sushi!! Always fresh and delicious - in love with their unique and creative roll combinations. Service is great!! and i love that they offer half-priced half rolls for lunch on weekdays so I can try new flavors every time!! The more I come to Sushiato the more I love this place. This was my third time there and everything we had was amazing. Sushi is Fantastic! Following Yelp reviews (and 4.5 stars) we went for dinner and... what a surprise. The place is small, uncomfortable furniture, slow service, second class sushi, and expensive. The rice on my wife's sushi was undercook and the avocado on mine was over ripped. Also, I ordered a roll with cucumber instead of rice and the cucumber was very thick (betraying the inexperience of the preparer). Don't waist your time following the Yelp reviews, there are several much better Japanese restaurant in the area. read more

We are visiting from Philadelphia and decided to order out. We ordered 5 rolls and Shumai. Our sushi was delicious! Fish was fresh, rolls were tasty, overall very satisfied. My only complaint is A LOT of the rolls have cream cheese in them. I like cream cheese, but it was difficult to find a roll that didn't have it. Even though we picked up, we loved the ambiance and the decor in the restaurant. Would definitely come again next time we are in town! read more

Good twists to regular sushi rolls. Kind of interesting since I feel like it's more Japanese fusion really. Parking suck when we came for lunch though...tight spots with limited number of spots. Place is cute with contemporary feel to it. Servers are nice and I needed them to cook some fried rice for my kid with less pepper and they did cater to my kid's taste which was nice. It is pricy for what you get so just a heads up. read more

This place is very good. Had the Adam Roll( no cream cheese),tuna tartare, and the hamachi with jalapeno. All of the sushi was fresh. Service was spot on. Attentive without being annoying. Beer and wine prices were reasonable. Decor is bright and modern, unlike other sushi restaurants that try and create a false Japanese atmosphere. The place is small and there were people waiting by the time we left. If you have a big party this may not be the place to go. Great addition to Weston. Will be back often. read more

Design and decor is pleasant. Seating is a little cramped. Rolls are slightly over priced and lacked flavor. We sat at the bar and noted that the same server that brought us the check went behind the bar to prep take out orders with his bare hands without washing or the use of gloves. Overall it was fine but will not be returning. read more

If you don't speak english don't expect to get good service here. They will give you attitude if you aren't hispanic. I myself, am hispanic but wasn't speaking spanish to my friends therefore, i received very average service. The waiters were being extremely kind to other spanish speaking guests, but not to my friends and I. The sushi is also not that great for the price. I will definitely not be coming back to this restaurant. read more

I went on a Bumble BFF meet date. I wanted to get to know more people in the area! I had driven by here before and it caught my attention. I was packed inside! Awesome for management to reach out as well, updated my rating to reflect...I really like this place when I first came in January of this year but last night I ordered ceviche and fried rice to go. Once I got home I opened my ceviche and was overwhelmed by the fishy smell. I stupidly tasted it thinking what I don't know and it was awful. Extremely acidic and smelled like it taste. I really was confused why someone would have put this in a to go box. I called to be refunded for the ceviche as I was too far too return. And they said they would. But I would not recommend the ceviche. The fried rice was a tad too salty. read more

Valentine's day and I had all the intentions to stay in to cook dinner with my fiancé. However, got out of work way too late so we decided to find a place to eat. It was already 9pm so we figured the rushes should've died down. I typically am hesitant about fusion places, but we had Sushiato bookmarked and gave it a shot. It was busy as expected being Valentine's Day, but not too bad. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman. Waited about 15 minutes. We ordered three rolls: San Valentine (special), Ceviche and Unagui. The server apologized in advance, informing us the sushi bar was backed up. It took a while and it was alright as we totally understood. The friendly server kept apologizing. Then the manager came over to apologize. Again, we were totally fine. Once the rolls arrived, they looked beautiful. Each roll had ten pieces. Very filling. Great flavor. The fusion twist was nice and refreshing. The Unagui roll was my favorite. The manager came back and offered us a complimentary dessert for the wait and thanked us continuously for our patience. We chose the Tempura orea. Very good. I was thoroughly impressed with the service. If they are this great under pressure, I can only expect even better experiences on a regular day. The rice in my sushi rolls were bone dry. Like old rice. The avocado in my rainbow roll was over ripe and so sweet, almost like a banana. Weird. Also, wasabi is NOT included. I've never been to a sushi restaurant where wasabi isn't included. They gave me the option of adding wasabi for an extra $.50. I just assumed that was for extra wasabi so I didn't ask for it in my order. (I ordered be at UberEats). I will never order sushi from there again. read more

We had the tuna mango twist special and the weston roll and we enjoyed both very much. I wish they will eventually add the tuna mango twist to the menu because it was my favorite. For dessert we had the oreo tempura which was delicious. read more

Wooowww this place is Amazing! The food is incredible (very creative but they do not overdo it, get the Nigiri Shake! The owner and staff were super courteous, this restaurant is the second of this owner. The first one was in Venezuela (los samanes), and it is as good as it was there!! read more

This Restaurant is a very creative and different version of Japanese food. Rolls are completely different to regular Restaurants. Price is not low but it works every penny. I have been many time and will repeat many more. I love many of the rolls and the attention is excellent. I definitely recommend this Restaurant to all Sushi Lovers. read more

Went for lunch with coworkers. The place was well decorate but small, tables were too close to one another, but this review is about the food and this was tasteless (at least the lunch special were awful). My freinds try some rolls but they were small and ridiculous pricey for the size and the hour (it wasn't dinner). I will definite recommend another sushi place at least at lunch (is not worth the money) read more

What a surprise! They set the bar way up there for all other sushi places. It truly was an experience for the palate. The ingredients in the rolls simply played with our taste buds, combining sweet, savory, crunchy, creamy,etc, etc. It was an enjoyment. I highly recommend everyone come by. Service was fabulous, everyone is extremely polite even the owner came by to greet us. We loved it, we'll definitely return! read more

It makes no sense that the counter person can't issue a refund. What if the food is bad, or gets returned, etc? No options. Hopefully management can review this and make improvements. I almost forgot, I found a hair on the black beans, which they promptly replaced.

I will say, they were rather skimpy on the shrimp (only 1 in the pot) and a couple clams and squid but it was delicious nonetheless. The bulgogi was seasoned well and they included a number of banchan which all tasted fresh. I asked for lettuce to wrap my bulgogi with as that's common in South Korea but here it is a $4 upcharge for lettuce. The food did hit the spot so we were all satisfied with the quality of the food and will likely return.

We had just finished a surprisingly great sampling of sushi rolls, and were discussing how we needed to bring some friends to this trendy-looking new place. This is what we had hoped for, ending up at Sushiato only because it was a new sushi place listed on a popular restaurant review website. What a great find we had made, and we never would have come here if we didn't have a voucher for $25 off $50 that we bought on (unnamed website). Our satisfaction of having found a great new sushi place became irretrievably lost once the check came. When we showed our server our VALID discount certificate, he told us they weren't accepting them. The manager then came over and gave us some story about not giving (unnamed restaurant website dot com) permission to sell these $25 certificates on their website. Or, "he told them to remove them a week ago". Whatever. It is his right to offer or not offer discounts or dining certificates. I understand that. But then, to just inform us that he isn't accepting the certificates and expect us to be happy about having made the trip to Weston from Hollywood is simply pretentious. We asked him to offer us some kind of concession-anything-like a 20 or 25% discount (which would have been only a $10-$15 reduction of the bill) and he refused! Really? We just got through telling you what a nice experience we had and you want to discard a potential repeat customer over 10 dollars??? I would have been completely satisfied, with just a small concession in place of the $25 certificate! In full disclosure, he did offer us a "free glass of wine", but we had already finished dinner and were ready to leave. So, go here if you want to be taken for granted as a customer.
