    Chicken Ramen
    Linda S.

For what it was worth, it was pretty good. It wasn't my favorite ramen - as the noodles were kinda skimpy and the chicken was very chewy. But, it did its job, and was well priced. The location was right in the middle of the mall- although convenient, it lacked some privacy as people walking by could see you eat. Service was okay- honest mistake but they didn't take my friend's order because we ordered the same thing. They only put in the order for one and we had to wait an additional 10 minutes.

The rotating sushi bar is a very cool concept. I love that it allows you to try rolls that you might not usually try because you can actually see them, and you don't have the pressure of committing to a full roll. Located right in the middle of The Galleria, it was a nice shopping snack! GLOWS: -We were in a hurry. The server understood the assignment and got us the check right away. -We tried a variety of rolls and they were all good -This sushi bar kicked it up a notch, as they had fruit and dessert options.

This sushi restaurant is immediately next to the ice rink in the middle of the galleria mall on the first floor. During Christmas time they setup the huge tree in the center of the rink. Such a great spot to hangout, take in the holiday atmosphere, and relax for a bit between all your shopping. Food and drinks are decently priced. Lots of good options so I'm sure you'll find something you like. Hot sake was a must due to all this cold weather. Seating right up against the rink is the best for people watching but they have nice comfy booths too.

Sushigama I am beginning to realize that the Galleria Mall has some fantastic eating places and I have not explored many. Quite recently I tried the Sushigama. Assuming almost to certainty that there will not be anything without fish in a Sushi place, I had a burger and came here only for a friend. They surprised me with vegetarian options. Not many but quite enough. I had to try now, and was really happy I did. It was yummy. The place itself is bang opposite the ice rink in Galleria Mall. It has this revolving belt on which on your food is placed and it slowly drives up to you, and not just that, all the desserts the others ordered too passes by that belt and you can't stop your mouth from watering- anyone heard of Live Ads, its Gotto to be this- brilliant idea to get the customers to order more!! Must visit for vegetarians too.

Conveyor belt sushi, pay per plate color. Over a dozen different varieties of sushi and maki. You can also order menu items like noodle, edamame, teriyaki bowls, desserts etc. Although the variety of food is good the actual taste is average. You can really rack up a bill without even realizing it.

We have been here twice and each time the staff was super nice and very attentive. The latest time we went, the restaurant was close to closing but they still sat us and did not rush us at all. Our son wanted food from a neighboring fast food place and they let him eat it at the table without issue. We also went at Christmas time and we had a beautiful view of the skating rink and 55 foot Christmas tree. The variety is not as large as other restaurants and they dont seem to have a Happy Hour, so one star demotion for that.

Great little sushi spot similar to genki sushi and kuru kuru. Love the location and during the Christmas season how can you not like sitting in front of a huge Christmas tree. Service was fast and attentive, clean area and space between people when sitting at bar seating. Great lunch!

    Not good.

Quality of sushi here was terrible. The raw fish did not taste fresh and left me with a stomachache. I rarely ever leave leftover sushi but it was so bad I couldn't force myself to finish it. I actually think I had better sushi from the grocery store than what I had here.

Had to try this place out. Been here for a while. Got the curry and it was cold. It was just carrots and vegetables. It was pretty spicy. I had to have them heat it up and it was still cold. The sushi was ok here. Prices was high here.

The tablet even tells you when the food is about to be delivered. The rice they use is brown rice which I found different. I believe all the fish is raw also. You can get it seared. The prices are pretty high so the amount can add up quick! I tried a bunch of different things including their special "seared" 5 that day. It was interesting my favorite one was like the one with jalapeño on it and the other one from that was the garlic based one. My favorite dish was the salmon trio though it comes with belly, salmon. And seared. I think the seared was my favorite it was like buttery and melt in your mouth type texture. They had so many options even hand rolls. I tried a scallop hand roll which was delicious.. although I don't think the seaweed for the hand roll was great. Plus you have to basically roll it yourself so I don't know if it ruins it? The eel with cream cheese roll has too much eel sauce I wouldn't recommend it. The sauce overpowered the eel(unagi). Overall, the fish tasted like good quality and fresh.

I walked in and it wasn't too busy, a few booths were occupied with families who seemed to be enjoying their food, but since I was dining alone, the long table for single diners/smaller parties wasn't ready and the person at the bar apologized while she cleaned a place for me to sit. After about 5 minutes, I finally sat down and was given a tablet and instructions on how to order. Right away, I noticed that a few of the items I wanted to order were out of stock, but I was able to find other items to try. I ordered the agedashi tofu first and it was just two small pieces of tofu in an oversized bowl of dashi. It was delicious but definitely a waste of dash and I wish there had been more tofu. The tsukune was so mushy that it make me worry that it was undercooked so I didn't eat anymore. I didn't send it back though I wish I had. It was inedible. The seared salmon was pretty good, though just one piece, and the inari didn't have much rice and I feel like the shaping was to mask this fact. The service was great and quick, and the bathroom clean, but the food isn't worth the price.

came back to kata robata this time right when they opened @around 5pm…read more and it was decently packed the quality is 10/10 as always This time we ordered the Texas Wagyu Sando to try out. If you like buttery flavor (more fat) cut of meat, then this is for you. Other must-orders are king salmon and chopped scallop nigiris. We also had otoro, sea bream and butterfish sashimi. You also can't go wrong with their ramen selections. We tried ordering oxtail ramen (their special of the day) but it was out so we opted for Nagasaki (seafood) ramen again. Plenty of parking spaces, no valet. Definitely perfect for fancy date nights, business meetings, family dinners and special occasions.

From the specials menu, we started with the spicy garlic coconut milk mussels made with fresh Prince Edward Island/British Columbia mussels in a rich spicy garlic coconut cream sauce, topped with green onions and served with toasted ciabatta bread. The broth was incredible and packed with flavor. As an appetizer, we ordered the Texas Wagyu Hot Stone Bowl -- the only rice item on the menu at the time -- made with rice, egg, kimchi sauce, tawan mushrooms, sesame, and green onion. It was prepared tableside for us, which made the experience even more fun and interactive. We also tried the Spicy Soy Ramen with braised ground pork, chili oil, soy milk broth, soft boiled egg, wakame, green onion, and micro cilantro. The flavors were rich, comforting, and had the perfect amount of spice. The Nagasaki Champon Ramen was another standout with clams, shrimp, cabbage, pork, onion, ginger, and micro cilantro in a flavorful broth that tasted fresh and authentic. The restrooms were very Japanese-inspired and beautifully maintained, adding to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Gabby was an amazing waitress -- attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire dining experience even better. Then there was dessert: Green Tea soufflé and chocolate milk bread pudding! I hope i get a picture of it!!! Service is GREAT! Drinks are filled. Needs are met- and exceeded!!!0 Parking is self parking, but it was worth it. We will definitely be back again to try many more items on the menu! Come early if you want to hear your partner it gets LOUD!
