It's a must to stop into Wichita before heading home to small town Coldwater and my duty to check out a different restaurant each time I'm in the "big" city. Today I tried Sushiya and it did not disappoint! I was very hungry and everything looked delicious on the menu! I opted for a Crazy Stonehenge and it was so yummy! Loads of crab and shrimp with creamy sauces. Super delicious! The service was wonderful and so very attentive. Refilled my drink without even asking. Highly recommended and super clean!

Sooo good. So glad to have found this spot. My lemon drop was yummy too.

Great rolls, excellent lemon drop and wonderful service. Glad to have found this spot after being disappointed by not being able to get barbeque.

Ordered the sushi combo A and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The shrimp tempura was crispy and well seasoned and the dipping sauce provided gave the dish a sweet component to the salty fried shrimp. The word of the game in sushi is freshness. The sushi set was fresh, texture was great so no complaint there. The miso soup had a good body and tasted misoey and good. Cheers!

I love this place. I'm from LA and they have Sushiya over there and this one's even better than those. The people are always nice when you enter saying hi. It's always clean and feels welcoming. I love their Japanese burrito. I come by just to get it. They do a great job with it. The sushi always comes out fresh. My daughter loves the Taco salad (octopus salad) I don't know if that's what they call it. I've been here multiple times and never had a bad time. I am truly surprised this place isn't more packed all the time!

Sushi was sooo goooood! Couldn't believe the high quality for this landlocked state. Definitely a must try. Don't be scared! They handle their fish well and the rolls are fresh! Delicious! Miso soup is average. The yakisoba noodles have a lot of veggies; must try!

My first time ever at a grand opening and I was not disappointed! Everything was absolutely delicious! The staff are all so nice! Our server Andy was super friendly and was already super knowledgeable about their menu. He suggested a couple of really yummy rolls! The restaurant itself is beautiful and elegant but also comfy and cozy! Lots of seating and plenty of space to sit at the bar too! I will definitely be coming back!

I was living in South Korea for a year, about two years ago. Lately, I was craving the udon I use to eat there. Sushiya gave me that flavor I was longing for. It was close to the one I use to eat from South Korea but not exact. So far this is my new favorite place. I would recommend this place to all my friends and sushi lovers. Their sushi is fuller than most places. The service was well above average and no wait time. The atmosphere was chill, modern and elegant. One suggestion would be to add more fish cakes on the udon.

Definitely the most beautiful ambiance for sushi in Wichita. It would be soooo much better if they had real chopsticks instead of the wooden ones. Agedashi tofu was good with a little soy sauce in the broth! Mom enjoyed her chicken katsu. The sake sparkler basically just tasted like champagne but no complaints there. Service was super quick, we did get there right when they opened on a Monday which I recommend for prime parking alone.

My girls and I are here last week. The food was Soo delicious and looked beautiful! The chicken teriyaki and Big boss sushi were amazing!! Our waiter was very helpful tending to us!! I highly recommend eating here!!

Got seated in a great private booth space, had a very attentive service team and the food came out hot, fresh and delicious. This was hard for me to write but I cannot process how awful the entire meal was…read more We had dined in over the weekend and had a reservation for their Father's Day Omakase special for $125/person that included an 8 course meal with a specialty drink included. By the end of course 3, I was ready to get my check and leave. The time in between each course was painfully slow. Next, there was absolutely no thought that went into each course. Everything that came out was convoluted with no flow in the way the courses were presented. It was clear that the chef lacked vision in what he wanted to do and it showed. They had advertised A5 wagyu but what was presented was over cooked deli meat slapped on top of a giant bed of salad or compressed on top of sushi rice. I couldn't even finish the dishes after one bite. The entire time, I couldn't help but wonder why did they have to ruin the integrity of such a delicate protein? Not once but three times. Which brings me to the next course, the wagyu burger patty itself was overcooked and the fondue sauce that it was slapped on made everything soggy and disintegrated before I could even get a bite. This was by far the worst meal I've ever had and I won't be returning. *The best part of our meal was our server who was great and very knowledgeable in presenting each course.
