I came here and got a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting cake. The service was really amazing. The lady behind the counter was nice. She smiled and greeted is upon arrival to the store. The inside was really pretty and kept clean. It's small, but the cases of baked goods looked immaculate. There were so many different items in there to choose from and it was late at night near their closing time. I'm very impressed with the different selections of items and how well decorated they were. The red velvet cake was so pretty and I couldn't wait to get home to take a bite the cake. It's good and it's not too sweet like most cakes are. The cream cheese frosting amazing. The ratio to cake and icing was perfect and there were so many layers in there. It made the whole cake moist in each bite! I will definitely be back here to try out some other goods. read more

I've been here a couple times to get cake and cupcakes and everything is delicious! My favorites are the celebration and the red velvet. It's a pretty small store so you can't really eat inside. Service is always great. They don't really have prices up (at least from what I saw). I'm sure this would be a great spot to order a custom cake as well read more

Pretty good cupcakes. But Pricey. Tried bites of red velvet, pineapple upside down, flourless chocolate. The chocolate ones were both a bit dry unfortunately. (Nobody beats nothing Bundt cakes for moistness). These are smaller and about the same price. Pineapple upside down was the runaway winner. I would return for this one. We tried Susie's cakes for the first time this week. I bought a marble cake for my boyfriend's bday. I got a 6in cake for $52. The cake looked really cute. Sadly the cake was so dry that I know for a fact I would have liked a Walmart cake better. I'm not sure if the cake had been made days ahead of time or if someone over baked it but we will not be back. The cake was NOT worth $52. I ordered 4 cupcakes through Postmates. While the main website clearly notes that the "strawberry" is actually "vanilla with strawberry icing" and the "lemon" cake is the same "vanilla cake with lemon icing," this isn't clear on the Postmates menu. So anyway, yet another "bakery" listing vanilla cupcakes as various fruit flavors instead of making lemon cake. My red velvet and mocha cupcakes were actually as expected and not disappointing. So 2/4 on cupcakes actually being the flavor one would expect. The cupcakes I ate were good. The cake is nice and moist, and they aren't buried in a 4-inch mound of icing. They were packed well and got to me in good shape. 5/5 for the red velvet and mocha cupcakes. But 0/5 for actually having lemon or strawberry cake.. read more

Ordered a marble cake for my birthday and it was delicious. Did not have the dry problem that some of these reviews are mentioning, and everyone loved it. Definitely separates itself from a basic cake and look forward to reordering ! Also love to stop in for their "Susie's nutty sandwich" for a good sweet treat. read more

I hate to give it this rating because I want to love it so bad but I drove 40 minutes both times just to try it because I've heard great things, but it was sooo dry. Granted, I didn't get cupcakes just a bunch of different cake slices, but I really couldn't eat it past 2 bites because it was just so dry. Been to a location in Texas and the cake was so good! I was super excited they opened a location here in OKC, but my cake slice definitely was stale.....super bummed and tasted nothing like the cake slice I had at another location. Three cupcakes: strawberry,birthday cake and lemon. I love lemon. I have never had a lemon I didn't enjoy but this one I ate half of the cupcake and just couldn't. The texture was different from any other cupcake I have had. The icing on the birthday day cake one was good but cupcake was not tasty at all. How ever the strawberry cupcake was a good texture and icing tasted good. Inside the establishment it was nice/ clean and employees were nice. read more

They have the best cupcakes I have ever tasted!!! I have tried the coconut and German chocolate. They have the perfect balance of icing to cupcake. They are not too sweet and have the lightest most delightful whipped icing. Highly recommend. They are more expensive than your average cupcake but worth every penny and no where near average! Extremely friendly staff and they were very quick to acknowledge us as well. We got several different slices/flavors, all very good so far the lemon and carrot cake are my favorite, the chocolate was a little dry so that was a little disappointing because that usually is one of our favorites, the red velvet was very good, as well as the celebration flavor. We also tried the chocolate chip cookie and the peanut butter sandwich cookie. The chocolate chip needed more chocolate chips but was good and the peanut butter was very good. Not having visible pricing was a little confusing but we got past that. We will be back so that we can try some of the cupcake flavors. read more

We got a slice of vanilla birthday cake, marble cake and chocolate cake. The vanilla and marble cake were so dry but SO sweet. It was awful. We threw the vanilla cake away. My two 10 year old even said ew when they took a bite out of it if that tells you anything. The marble cake was edible but so sweet and so dry and just not a great flavor and NOT marble cake flavor. The chocolate cake was okay. It was moist but SO sweet. It fell apart when I tried to cut it. Just very subpar. You can get better cakes from Costco honestly. La baguette and raspberries and cream have MUCH better homemade cakes. I HATE how bakeries are starting to not have menus or prices up on the wall. It was awkward trying to figure out how much everything was and what we could buy. The lady took a while to find prices in the computer. I am also irritated that there was an option for a tip. The tip thing is getting out of hand. We got a sparkle candle and it was awesome though! $40 for 3 slices of cake, a chocolate chip cookie and a candle. Also the cake slices were all different sizes. It was confusing. If there was a menu posted maybe that could help clear up what we are actually buying. I will not be back. read more
