One of the worst experiences ever at that restaurant. We used to eat here all the time, but the staff is absolutely horrible. We were seated after waiting 15 minutes and after multiple tables were seated that arrived after us. Once we were seated, approximately 10 minutes later the staff proceeded to take the order from another table that was just seated. When we questioned them why they weren't serving us. She snidely and sarcastically said "sorry we're just getting caught up". So we got up to leave and she asked if we were leaving. I informed her we were going to another restaurant and she said "sounds good have a good day" and I completely sarcastic tone. They have lost my business and any business from anyone I know that would consider eating there when they fly in. Employees make the difference. Unless owners stop hiring these incompetent and inconsiderate people the business will suffer. read more

If I could leave a zero star I would. My family and I visit this place often but today will be the last time. The redheaded waitress is extremely smug and rude. After waiting to get seated and sat for 10 minutes, she then proceeded to take another tables order that she just sat down and when I asked her if she can take our order, she snapped at me and said they're just trying to catch up and await my turn. I then explained to her that we had been sitting there for 10 minutes before the other table was seated. She then said I'm doing my best and walked away. She then proceeded to go back to that same table and talk to them. we decided that at that point we've had enough and we got up to leave. She then walked over to the table and asked what our order would be when we said we're going somewhere else, She said that sounds great to me. I hope the owner reads this review. You could see what one employee can do to a business. My family and friends all go to this restaurant and people that know me and fly into meet me, We always meet there and I will make darn sure that no one in my circle ever goes to this restaurant again. You seriously need to train that redheaded waitress properly in customer service. I can't stress this enough. I am a business owner and if my employees treated customers that way, were laughed at and the smug smile and have a great day comment, I would fire them in a heartbeat. With so many restaurants to choose from in the Prescott area, I would go above and beyond to treat my patrons properly. read more

Did some work at the airport, and I seen someone with some bomb looking French toast, and they sent me here. Sadly I missed breakfast, but the lunch was still great! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, with everything. I like that they put everything within your disposal and let you dress your burger to your liking! Not gonna lie, the burger patty was thicker than fast food restaurants, so I was very pleased! I inhaled the burger fully loaded... so yeah it was good! The waitresses were very polite and attentive. The people enjoying their food were also nice. It's a very welcoming atmosphere here. I'd come back and hopefully catch breakfast because their French toast looks delicious!! read more

This place is a fantastic and off the beaten path for breakfast/lunch. Right off the runway at the Prescott Airport. The patty melt is spot on. The server was really friendly and a cute airplane themed decor inside. You would never know this place even existed if you didn't go looking for it. Yum. Great burger and fries. The waitress is a doll. This is nostalgia in its finest form. Not many people know about it as it's tucked away in a corner building. That is a crying shame! Location is great watching the small planes take off Since my nephew is attending Embry-Ridfle I find myself visiting prescott more often. I enjoy visiting the hometown places like Susie's Skyway Restaurant . Susie's has homestyle cooking and friendly staff. The restraunt is locared inside the Prescott airport terminal. Itvwas great to watch planes take off and land while enjoying a quick meal. Susie's offers sandwiches like Ruebans, Monte Cristos and Patty Melts. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast combo and it was really tasty. A great breakfast, nothing fancy, but a nostalgic and relaxing place to relax and eat. The food was decent. The service was friendly but slow because there was one waitress for the entire restaurant for the whole restaurant. Eventually another waitress joined her but by that time many customers were waiting a while for service. We found this gem on a Saturday morning wanting something fun todo that was local. After sorting thru reviews, we decided to make the 20 minute drive. The server was so kind and happy, the other staff was welcoming, and the view for us today, well it was epic. The Prescott Fire Department was training on live fire and skills! Not only did we get to watch the aircraft land and take off, but we were front row to our community first responders training. (And the food was a bonus for sure.) Unless you are kind of snobbish (or a *%#*, ) this is a great little stop. The furniture is not fancy, the menus need a little love and some furniture rehab would not be out of the question. However, if all of those things happened, the menu prices would go up, the quaintness would go away and it would draw away from what makes this place its own. There is nothing at all fancy here. It just down home good eats served by people who care and are truly friendly. The locals all seem to know each other and a great deal when they see one. How many places can you go now a days and get a full omelet breakfast (made your way) with all of the fixins for $7.95 or a regular breakfast for $5.95. I'm an avid aviation nut and love to sit and watch the planes come and go. Although I do not see many larger aircraft here, it is just fun to watch people take off and land. It is a fun place for the kids to look at the 100 or so differing model airplanes hanging from the ceiling. It is easy access as you head your way out towards Chino Valley and is located right next to the golf course. It seems to be a destination airport for many as it may be less expensive for fees and etcetera than Deer Valley or Scottsdale respectively. Located about 15 minutes north of Prescott through the Granite Dells. The drive through here makes the trip worth it all by itself. What a beautiful area of unique rock formations and surrounding lakes. I just like to try all kinds of different places and I do not hold world to certain standard. Some of the best diner food I've ever had. If your an aviation enthusiast like myself, your gonna love this place. Offering traditional breakfast and lunch options, it offers great views of the Prescott Regional Airport. I have found myself time and time again enjoying a plate of fluffy pancakes and watching the planes go by. If you haven't been and you're looking for a well priced diner, check this place out. I've been coming to this place for years so it's about time I put in a review of this place. It's definitely one of my favorite spots to eat in the Prescott area. Located in the small airport terminal it's a cozy little spot to eat and watch airplanes and helicopters take off and land. Being at the the airport, it has an aviation theme with lots of model airplanes hanging from the ceiling. There's plenty of free parking! There's also free tie-down space if you're flying in for breakfast or lunch too! Visiting Prescott again, I just had to stop in and enjoy a good burger. I really like the french fries here also. Now this place has been around for a long time...the place definitely shows its wear and tear. It could definitely use a facelift but not too much. I'd hate to see them take away that small town feel which makes this place seem like it's your favorite hometown diner. If you're looking for a spot to grub down, I strongly suggest you give this place a try. read more

We live 14 miles 1 way from Susie's, we have been regulars for years and NOT ONCE have we had rude or poor service, (not to say that when busy it wasn't slow service, but even then smiles are everywhere including kitchen.) So glad my friends brought me to this little hidden gem for breakfast. No it's not fancy and it's not on a main thoroughfare that would be convenient for most people to visit. The food, however, was solid. For $6.99, one could have a breakfast that would easily fill them up until suppertime. Made to order eggs can be somewhat tricky but all three of us were pleased. And, as crazy as it sounds, I appreciated how perfectly cooked my hashbrowns were. We had been to a much more expensive restaurant within the last couple days and my friends hashbrowns were not completely cooked. I liked the non-pretentious aviation decor. Clearly the other customers were regulars and our server did a great job the whole time. I was temporarally stranded at the airport in Prescott, AZ. I thought I need a place to sit down relax and get something to eat. I noticed people coming in and out the front door and going directly into this diner inside the airport. What was strange is none of these people were catching a flight. Therefore, it was telling me that they were all locals. I thought it must be ok if they are driving here specially for the food. Let me just say that they are right. The BEST food I had my whole trip. Then the woman that waited on my was literally like an angel sent from Heaven. She had the nicest smile which I really needed to see as I was on the verge of crying my eyes out. She made me forget all about my unfortunate situation. She and the other workers made me laugh ALOT. Then, I saw her greet this older gentlemen by name. You could see his face light up then she did the impossible. Gave him a hug. I almost started crying. lol... She gave me directs advice on whom to call for a ride. They even let me use one of the outlets to plug my cell phone in as it was dying. I would come back to Prescott, Az and directly to Susie's Skyway Restraurant just for to visit with Courtney and the staff. And of course for the fabulous food. I own (2) businesses myself and I am telling you that I would for sure attempt to steal her from this business if I was opening a business in Prescott.
