He opened the entire air handler unit, inspected and cleaned out a bunch of debris, stated my aluminum coils did not look bad, checked the amperage, went under my house and deck to find and clean out drainage line, put tablets in to help prevent slime build up, checked heat pump capacitor and Freon, vacuumed out all the leaves and dirt (there was a lot), changed the foam insulation I supplied for the lines to the house, explained to me how my thermostat operates, answered all my questions, took pictures and sent me a full report. He was there about 2 hours and did a fantastic job for $139! [Complete opposite of Marc Anthony who only opened the top of air handler, told me my system was a mess, said there was mold in the handler, said the insulation on the pipes outside was just for looks (which I know is not true) said the aluminum coils were not good, should get copper, and said he couldn't do anything for me and wouldn't even bother to service it or put another dollar into it, just wait until it dies in a couple years and get a Bosch. Then charged me $99. I was quite upset when he and his helper (who stood on my wool area rug with his shoes on) left. So, I called them back after Munns came and gave them the opportunity to explain why he "couldn't do anything" for me but the response was it was just a service call not a maintenance call.]

I paid in advance for both services, but when I asked to schedule the 2nd service, I was told that she did not want to pull up that calendar yet. Any way my April 2nd appt. was to be between 12PM - 2PM. When it came to 12PM and past 2PM, I called to inquire when we may expect out mechanic. At that time, I was informed that the mechanic was probably not going to make it out that day!!! I was told that one employee called in sick, the other was working on a new install and the third was too busy. Mind you no one bothered to contact me earlier to let me know there was going a delay, much less a no show. when asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said yes, thinking it would be the next day or at the least the next week. She offered me an appointment for the end of the month, not acceptable!!! Poor service, communication and a lack of trying to accommodate a long-time loyal customer cost this company my business!!! with the attitudes I encountered, I don't see this company lasting very much longer. This is sad to say, because St. Louis has been here as long as I can remember. I used them for different business' where I worked and always enjoyed my interactions with the "old" staff.

One of the most unprofessional experiences I've had with a company in a long time…read more First of all, be warned, this company uses a mix or AI (robots), international customer service, and local people, to handle their inbound calls. So you never know if you're speaking to someone local, someone over seas, or a robot. I called and scheduled an appointment to have my kitchen sink snaked, using their $93 or free promotion. The tech was supposed to arrive between 1-5 pm. (I later figured out that I was talking to AI, to schedule this). So the following morning, I get a call, from a human in their office, saying no, I need to be home at 11 AM, because the plumber will arrive earlier. So I had to leave my job at 10:45 AM to meet this plumber. By 12:30 he had not arrived, so I called the office. The office informs me, we never said at 11, we said AFTER 11 (this is absolutely NOT what they had said to me). They proceed to inform me that the plumber only has one stop before me, and should arrive early afternoon. By 3:30 pm he STILL had not arrived, and I had missed almost an entire day of work. I called the office again, and got an over-seas customer service person who had no idea what was gong on. This so-called plumber shows up at 5:15 pm! He brings in a hand snake, that looks like a child's preschool toy, and performs one of the most half-assed, half-hearted attempts to clear a drain that I've ever seen. He says he can't clear it without a power auger. (Anyone with half a brain would have brought a power auger with them initially). He says he can do it tomorrow, with a power auger, for $500!! At this point I told him to leave. There was no charge for service since he was unable to clear the drain. BUT, this is a BAIT AND SWITCH sales tactic. Advertise one price and service, and then BAM, hit you with a higher price. This waste of time cost me nearly an entire day of work. I was able to get a different company to come out and clear the drain that same evening. The other company arrived on time, and cleared the drain for only $200, less that half the price that M & S wanted to charge me.
