After getting 2 new ac units this was our next step. They spent the entire day and the amount of dust and crud they removed was amazing. They even vacuumed the rooms after to get the debris that fell. I was nervous about getting scammed from some half baked duct cleaning company so we went to the certification site NADCA and found John and his team. Being chemical sensitive I was also worried they would spray a fragrance in the ducts. Instead they wiped down the vents and openings with vinegar and water for me. And I didn't have to ask. Not only did they answer the phone on a Sunday, but scheduled a technician to come out the next day. Awesome! The technician arrived right on schedule, was very pleasant, and determined within seconds of hearing the A/C turn on that it must be the capacitor for the compressor. I've dealt with capacitors a lot in my life as an electrical engineer, so I knew that that should be a cheap fix. Chinese A/C capacitors sell for $25 on Amazon, so even with a small, local company mark-up I was expecting to get away with maybe a hundred bucks, plus the $95 service charge for coming out. To my surprise they charged me $420 for the capacitor, so with the service charge I paid $515 for a capacitor that Amazon sells for $65 (US made, not Chinese). I believe that at this point, the company is taking advantage of customers when they otherwise have to live in 95 degree heat, and I cannot recommend this company at all!

The other company noted (see photos) that the area around the vent was still dirty, and at least one of the vents (which had recently been painted and had unbroken paint on the screws) looked like it hadn't been opened. When I brought this up to the company and requested a refund, I was told that I had paid for a basic cleaning, which covered the interior of the duct lines but didn't include vents and covers, and that those were covered under a deep cleaning service. I was not informed that there was a difference in cleaning types when setting up the service, and I noted that their website didn't specify this, either. Specifically, their website states, "Utilizing advanced equipment and industry-approved techniques, our skilled technicians meticulously clean all components of your duct system. This includes the supply and return ducts, registers, grills, diffusers, and associated parts." Their website also uses the phrase "beyond basic cleaning" to describe their sanitation and deodorization services--not their register/grille cleaning. After I pointed out via text that their website doesn't distinguish between basic and deep cleaning, I was ghosted. If you're going to pay for this, be aware of what you're getting.

Zero Stars for Zero service. AC was out night one. Spent…read morenext day trying to reset the AC thermostat, etc. but no luck. Call Del-Air and got an automated human sounding AI that took all my information and scheduled me for the next morning because no slots were available. So night two passed with my wife and I suffering under blowing fans in an 80+ degree house. Next morning I call to confirm the appointment made the night before. Another human sounding AI answers and I say "LIVE AGENT" twice before getting a real person. She fails to find the appointment in the system until much later and lots of delays and apologies for a slow system--she needed ALL the Same information I provided the AI system the evening before. Then a few minutes before the morning window (8-12) closes, I get an automated email says they cannot contact me and that they will need to reschedule. I call them again, wade past another human-like/AI system and say "Live Agent" twice to get to another agent that takes a long time to find that appointment and offers 1- 5 PM. Then I say OK because what choice do I have? She says is this your number, and proceeds to provide a completely different number from what I gave them initially and the morning of the appointment. They FAILED to have my correct contact information. SO: I wait after telling them how important this is and to text or call me. 30 minutes before the SECOND window closes, I get another automated text saying they cannot make it today and will another time work. They never got here. They never cared to follow through or call to see if the tech had made it here. Ironically, they had another AC tech in my building on the same floor in the time window they offered me but that was NOT my tech so, I never got any help, nor did that tech even care to try to offer assistance. I don't recommend them. They are unhelpful and unprofessional. Please avoid using .
