You cant rate a zero or thats what it is. Our insurance company sent this gentleman to us. Long story short he left an estimate for $850 and told my wife the insurance wouldn't cover the damage and he could do it cheaper. His diagnosis of blocked coils and a bad condenser couldn't be further from the truth. He and his company continued to badger my wife for days for the $850 up front. We got a second opinion and it was the mother board on the unit which had caught fire mentioned no where in his report to the insurance company. AND the insurance company covered the repair. I also spoke with other disgruntled customers only to hear the same. These people are shady and need to be looked into for fraud. BEWARE! read more

We were traveling when our HVAC failed and left our house sitter warming up. Burleson addressed the issue very promptly. We discussed alternatives and chose to replace the aged unit. Ordering and installation move ahead in a very timely manner. Our house sitter told how they appreciated the whole activity. BEWARE! AHS hired this company to fix my A/C and a week later my garage was flooded with drywall drooping down and water flowing from the ceiling in multiple spots due to a clogged drain pipe from the AC handler area in the ceiling. The work they did clogged the pipe and eventually the drip pan overflowed and flooded the ceiling. Upon speaking to Andy the owner (who is so rude) he refused any responsibility immediately (he wasn't even at my home and hadn't spoken to the tech that was) . He said these things happen. Well sir, these things had never happened prior. Whatever was done ended up clogging the drain line which ruined my garage drywall ceiling along with damage to cabinets below and some other items. I had a ticket with First American Home Warranty, which was escalated to "Emergency" status (wife has asthma, no a/c in Florida). Tech "Mike" came onsite and was great! System was completely shot, needed replaced. First American approved the replacement, but I would owe $1400 above my deductible. I asked for a breakdown of those costs, they suggested I call Burleson. I did, spoke to "Andy" (I believe the owner). Very shady on the phone, sounded like a car salesman. He mentioned $175 for a float switch, talked over me when I questioned that, ended up yelling at me, telling me he was going to refuse the job, that I would need to go another week without A/C and find another contractor, and HUNG UP! They then DID refuse the job! So here I sit, typing a review, while First American figures out where to go next. Run away from Burleson if you have a choice! Avoid at all costs! read more

I have been assigned them two times by American Home Shield. The first time they came, they tried to say that our first floor unit needed to be modified entirely and our cement torn up. They tried to upcharge us. We requested a second opinion despite AHS telling us we might need to pay a second service call... the second company diagnosed it as a simple fix and ordered a part, and had us up and running. My AC went out on a Thursday evening. A service order was placed the same day. I made a follow up call first thing Friday morning and was told that they would call me back at 0900. After multiple attempts to reach them after 0900, I was finally able to get through at 0930 only to be told that although they were under contract and had already been paid, they would not be able to service my AC until the following Thursday. The "lady" on the other end actually seemed pretty happy about it. I have no idea what their skill level is, however their customer service is beyond the pale. BEWARE!! On 9/13/22 Burleson was contracted by my home warranty company to come and replace our HVAC system. We paid them $1,500 for services not covered by the warranty company. Part of the $1,500 charge was for pulling permits. In December I was renewing my home owners insurance and when they looked for the permits they noticed that they weren't pulled for my installation. I contacted Burleson to ask why and got no response. I called the City of Ocala to see if they were pulled and I was informed that Burleson Services isn't even allowed to pull permits in the City of Ocala because they don't have updated licensing and insurance on file with them. I have been fighting with my home warranty company for a month trying to get them to make Burleson pull the permits but they keep getting the run around from Andy, the owner of Burleson. I have been more than patient with this company and the owner does NOT seem to care that he is charging people $150 for permits (permits actually cost $54) and he is not even pulling them. HE IS STEALING FROM HIS CUSTOMERS!! If you've had work done by this company, call and make sure your installation had permits pulled and were inspected. If you are looking for an HVAC company, move on, this is not a company you want to work with. read more

Although it was a day and a half later before someone could come to my house, the serviceman, Mike, was very quick to locate the problem and had it corrected in less than 30 minutes. I wish I could give them a zero. My A/C quit working on a Sunday night. I put in a service request through my warranty company on Monday. I knew it might take some time for them to get back to me, as it's Florida and hot. When I didn't hear from them by Wednesday, I called them, no answer, left a message. Thursday morning, called them again, no answer, left a message. Finally, Thursday afternoon, called my warranty company - they got in touch with them and were told they couldn't come out until the following Wednesday! I had to call another service company to come out - it was 95 degrees in my house, and I have 2 kids & pets. I kept the appointment for the following Wednesday to make sure nothing major was wrong. Tech came out, super nice. He took pics of my unit (coil was dirty) and said they would submit to my warrant company and that someone in the office should hear back Thursday-Friday and let me know if it's covered. By Tuesday I didn't hear anything and called. An older lady got on the phone and was SO RUDE! Arguing with me that the tech doesn't know what he's talking about and I need to contact my warranty company - but that by what he wrote up it wouldn't be covered, would cost me $1200 and I need to make an appointment. All the while speaking to be in the nastiest voice. This is the most unprofessional company I think I've ever worked with and WILL NOT EVER use them again - am switching home warranty companies just so I DO NOT have to deal with Burleson. They came out twice within a 4 week period. Once for downstairs unit, then again for upstairs unit. 2 different problems for the units. Blower motor for downstairs, upstairs unit, drain issues. I just had a Burlesen services, Ocala, FL look at my furnace because it was not heating when the temperature dropped in to the 30's (which is when I submitted the claim)... I explained this to the dispatcher that right now, it is working however when the temp drops, it stops working until sometime the following morning. I asked if someone would be able to trouble shoot it even though the issue is not happening right now. I was assured - yes. So, they sent a person to look at it. All he did was turn on my heater and said it is working and handed me the invoice and left...What? Just so happens that right after he left, my neighbor (who happens to work on HVAC units) came by and and I explained the issue to him and he said the probable cause is a faulty LIMIT SWITCH. He said this can be checked easily and quickly - which, BTW this "technician" did not even look at. I don't trust this company. I the fact they did not try ANY trouble shooting steps or conduct component function checks says they either don't know how to fix HVAC units or they don't care. I feel they have (and will continue) to do this to others. Get some else. read more

They put me back on hold, until I got disconnected at the 29 minute mark. I called back, they didn't care. We were assigned this company by American Home Shield. I never leave reviews but they are awful. Our AC went out 4 days ago in July in FL. They were supposed to arrive between 8 and 12 and didn't. They called to say they would be there in 30 minutes. I arrived in less than 20 and they had already left first claiming they only wait 5 minutes, that's their policy. When I called and spoke to the rude woman in the office she said he waited 15 minutes, which is a lie. Then proceeded to hang up on me. Unless you call with a 30 minute heads up and arrive in less than 5 minutes, this company is blatantly lying and trying to be paid through the home warranty company for doing nothing. He worked with a sense or urgency and called me ahead to let me know he was coming late due to traffic. This company is terrible!!! My air conditioner has been broken since March 22nd. My home warranty company American Home Shield uses them as their contractor. Which after my A/C is fixed I am switching warranty companies. I put in request to get A/C fixed on 3/22 they did not come until 3/30. When they finally arrived I was told my motor on my upstairs A/C was broken. The technician was also trying to upsell me on adding another zone in my home. He said he would schedule us when A/C motor was in. They never called so finally I called them and they said they were waiting for us to call. My husband had to completely rearange his schedule and patients to find a time that accommodated them to replace motor. Finally they arrive with wrong motor who they blame on the manufacturer for ordering wrong one. The receptionist have been rude at times to accommodate us in getting new motor installed. They were supposed to finally come May 12th. I called them this morning to confirm and they informed me they are no doing business with me because of the bad review I left with Better Business Bureau. Which is all true and accurate. Our A/C has been broken for over a month. I think I have a valid reason to complain. I cannot believe people even do business with this company. They do not even try to make customer happy when they complain as they continue to get terrible ratings. read more

Worst company ever. Tried getting them out to my house two time for an air conditioning repair. First, I made an appointment and waited all day, called them near the end tof the time frame they gave me and they tell me that it was actually scheduled for another day, even after I double checked the date with them earlier. Then the next time, they give me a time window of 9-1, called multiple times the day before and day of to confirm this, no one answered the phones. Finally at 3:15, recieved a phone call saying that my technician will be there by 3...they called at 3:15! Called after an hour of waiting, they claimed that no one was home and they tried calling me multiple times. I have been sitting at home since 8am in front of this door waiting for them, with my phone on the loudest ring possible. This company is bullshit. Avoid them at all costs! read more

This is the worst costumer service I have ever had!!! I'm an electrician, so I understand maintenance and understand that problems sometimes are hard to find. So if the problem was misdiagnosed the first time, you do what you can to get the system working and get the appliance to work correctly. This company sent out a technician that misdiagnosed a leak in our A/C not once but three times. Had the "line set" replaced, that didn't fix the problem. On the forth attempt, they finally found the leak... I just purchased the house and the A/C system is less than a year old so it should be under warranty. Burleson's tech found the leak on Wednesday, today is Monday and I'm still without A/C. When I called this morning, I was placed on hold, for twenty mins. They finally told me someone would be by today to remove the coil a exchange it for a new one, that was first thing this morning. It is now 2pm, no one has come by yet, when I called to find out the status, I was placed on hold once again and waited and waited and waited. I finally called American Home Shield, they provide coverage of all my household appliances. They had to call them, and they were told someone would be calling within an hour to set up an appointment. The customer service of this organization is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. I am forced to use this company but after this repair is complete, I will never have Burleson's services in my home again for anything. I have already missed 4 days of work, because they set and appointment for 8-12, show up at 11am and takes 2-4 hours to work on the unit. So I miss the entire day of work for an average of three hours of work. And I have to miss another day because they have to replace the evaporator coil. Do not recommend Burleson Air Conditioning. We bought a Rheem from them that was installed in Aug 2017. Shortly after that, Sept. 1st, on a Friday before a long holiday weekend, the outside unit stopped running. I called Burleson and they told me that the soonest they could get someone here to service this new machine was on the following Tuesday. It was too hot to wait so we had to call another company. They showed up an hour and a half later. Found the problem, a wire that had not been stored properly and had rubbed against the housing until it shorted out and brought the unit to a stop, fixed it within 15 minutes and charged me $97.00. Burleson was told about this but did not offer to repay the service call. Today the outside unit stopped working, again. Called Burleson and got an answering machine. Called the same local company. They had a guy here right away. This time he found that valve had not been set in the fully open position and over time all of the refrigerant had leaked out. His view was that being a new unit that it was a case of very poor installation. This time it cost me $504.00. I would never recommend Burleson to anyone. DO NOT USE BURLESON SERVICES. If I could rate Burleson Services with a ZERO I certainly would. I waited 4 days for the appointed, not upset at all about that. However, on the day of the appointment, 1 hour from scheduled start time of my 5 hour window for service, I received a call from a young lady in the office that was tasked with the inevitable duty to contact me and break the bad news. "I've been told to contact you to reschedule your appointment today (are you ready for this) BECAUSE IT IS RAINING!!!" I am not making this up. I have 2 issue that needed attention. The most important one was on my gas heating unit which happens to be located in my UTILITY ROOM INSIDE MY HOME, WHERE IT DOESN'T RAIN. I discovered the unit has burn marks on it and I am certain the unit will need parts ordered and who knows how long the parts will take to receive. I asked the young lady if the tech could at lest look at that problem in order to get the parts on order. I'd be happy to wait on the AC unit on the outside, where it might be raining when the tech shows up. I was pleasantly told she was sorry and my next appoint would be a week from today. I assume Burleson Services has a weather guru or a magician that releases the tech to go to work. In my 50 years of home ownership in 8 different states, short of a hurricane, I have never been informed by a contractor they could not work due to weather. AGAIN DO NOT USE BURLESON SERVICES...REVIEW Toni L. 's recent remarks it appears BURLESON DOESN'T LIKE TO WORK IN THE HEAT OR LATE IN THE DAY EITHER, HUMMM...WHEN DO THEY WORK!!! Before using this company-check out the Better Business Bureau Rating-F. This company is terrible, If you are using a warranty company-insist on another AC contractor. It took them over a week to come out to diagnose my issue. I was told the part was on back order for over two months YES-TWO months. After I told them that I found a distributor that carried the part-I was told that they would order it but I must pay $200 for my portion of Freon before they would order the part. I thought that a little strange but agreed to pay upfront charge for Freon. Then-I was told that they would not accept a credit card and would need to mail in a check before part could be ordered. This company is a business and accepts credit cards-just another stall tactic. At this point, I gave up and requested a payout from my warranty company. read more

We have been without A/C since Friday evening, and have been waiting patiently for the service tech. We were given a service window of 1:00 to 8:00 on Monday. The tech was to call 30 min before he would arrive at the house. The tech did not call. We received a call at 7:15 pm from their dispatch, that the tech was at the house and no one was home. The temp in the house is 90 degrees, and no one in their right mind would be home. We were told that we would get the service expedited, but it does not appear to be so. These people do not have a clue of what customer service means. We only want the a/c repaired. I spoke with Burleson Services and they are telling me that they can not come back to make the repair until Wednesday between 1:00 and 8:00 again, and asked if that would work. Do we have another option? Nothing matters to them, they are a poor excuse of a company, and I would not recommend them to anyone for anything. read more
