This is a happy, success story and pay attention you Yelp skeptics! I REALLY needed help cleaning up tile and grout in one of the bathrooms at my L.A., CA crib. Though I tried to do it myself, it was just not working. I couldn't make the tile and grout look clean even though I spent literally hours trying. I asked around town here if anyone knew a reliable company/service that did tile cleanups. I came up empty and decided I'd give Yelp a shot. Well, after receiving no call back from another company that I first called and after waiting for days, I gave "Grout & Tile Miracles" a call and left a message. That same day owner "Steve" called me back and we made an appointment for him to come out the next biz day. Steve came out, assessed the work to be done, and provided me a detailed proposal that was a fair price. [Mind you, his service is labor intensive; not much in the way of material expense, so its pretty simple to know if you're getting a good price when he tells you how long it will take and the cost]. I was very, very happy with the results. The tile that he fixed up had been looking like it was worn away. The grout over the years had gone from a dark brown to hard water/soap scum white. Well, after the job Steve and his guys did, the tile and grout looked 99% better. I really didn't expect it to look so good. Seems like a very small business that needs a receptionist, as it was very hard to get a hold of Steve. He forgot to call me back multiple times to set up an appointment to meet his schedule. He was 30+ minutes late for the estimate. Gave me an estimate for $210 to clean my shower. For my actual appointment (took 3 calls to make it) he was an hour late. I had to leave work early to be there on time, and he showed up an hour late. I could have stayed my full day at work. Then he said he couldn't do it. Not sure how you give an estimate and then come back and say you can't do it. read more

I just had my tile floors cleaned by this company. When the owner Steve came by to give me the estimate he showed me pictures from his book from previous clients and told me what they could do for my floors. I guess I should have know better when the quote was a bit less than the other two I got from other professionals. The other companies told me they both had special machines that would clean the tile. When the two guys from this company arrived to do the work, they just brought some type of liquid cleaner, a bucket and two hand brushes . . . My floors are cleaner, but not nearly as good as I thought they would be. They told me that was the best they could do. I used too work for this guy Steve Young . He was a horrible boss. Had me on my knees for 6 hours a day scrubbing grout and drove me into the ground . They also use an acid to clean that is very destructive and unsafe THAT HE DOESNT WANT COUSTMERS TOO KNOW ABOUT. Steve would constantly not pay me on time for my work as his employee. I worked for him for ABOUT 6 months. He also always carries a big bag of weed with him. And at break him and Joshua go around the block and smoke weed. Very unprofessional . I'm reading alot of these comments and you would be right by calling Steve Young an asshole. He doesnt pay his employees on time for the hard work we would do. I was dealing with a leak in my shower and after a plumber came out and determined it was not a plumbing issue but a tile leak I called around and ended up speaking to Steve. Do not use this company. The guy "Steve" came by to give me an estimate for my Bathroom and Kitchen floor. All good until I inspected the work in the bathroom and left old dingily yellow stained caulking on the edges of the bathroom floor. When I called (also sent him a video) him about the issue he said I was not specific that I wanted that done as well, was very defensive, and said his guy did not work weekends and it would cost me more money.The work stated re-grout bathroom floor, I guess the edges of the bathroom floor do not count. This is a great company and one of the very few in the L.A. area that do this kind of work. While the tile in my kitchen and bathroom & shower was in pretty good shape, the grout really needed an overhaul. I found grout stain products on the internet but I wanted a professional service to do the work. Steve, from Grout & Tile Miracles, uses a special tinted cleaner - sealers and can change the color of existing grout without have to remove the old grout. I called, left a message and he called right back. I described my problem and he said, you came to the right place. We set up an appointment and he arrived on time with 2 other workers and himself. He mixed custom grout colors to my specifications and he and his guys spent 5 hours working their butts off. When they finished my floors and shower looked like new. I am a home owner and had these guys clean and seal my kitchen, countertop, and bathroom tiles. I also paid more to have them redo all the chalking in the bathroom. Steve is the owner but the guys who did the work was mostly young guys who I had to babysit all day and point out all the things they miss. They were so stingy with their material. They did not even polish and buffed my tiles in the kitchen like they said they would saying my kitchen was too small. Three weeks after the repair my chalking in the bathroom cracked, Steve had to redo it after two weeks of calling him, after a month it cracked again around my tub. Steve's crew made our tile and grout look like new! We had a house to sell with 600 sq feet of tiles. The tiles in the kitchen floor were grimy and the grout was very dirty (the grout was almost black instead of tan). Two of the bathroom floors had cracked and/or missing chunks of grout. All the tiles had tiny pockets where dirt had accumulated. I was not expecting a tile & grout miracle, but I got one. After the initial cleaning, the tile looked like new and the pockets of dirt were gone! The grout was pretty clean, but didn't look like new at that time. Then they added the color sealant and all of a sudden, I had new-looking grout. Overall, it was an amazing transformation. Steve was very concerned about quality and even had his guys come back and touch up an area that wasn't up to his standards. The grout cracks and missing grout were fixed and look like new. I despise tile, I was so ready for a new granite kitchen. Our tile looked disgusting after 18 years. The grout was gross. Wow-honesty...you don't see that very often. We have 2 new showers and I was curious about whether the grout needed to be sealed. I called and spoke with Steve and right away he said that our unsanded grout DID NOT need to be sealed and that it actually makes the grout lines worse (could possibly darken the grout).
