Like this place. Super cute small joint. Friendly bartender. Good music not loud so I can actually talk with friends. My friend had a very tasty looking cocktail. And they have Guinness on tap so what more could I ask for?

New drink for the seasons. Eggnog with screwball! Yummy. This bar always has new and creative drinks.

I absolutely love this place. The service is amazing and the people are incredible. Shala, Barbara and Frank are the reasons I keep coming back. The creativity in drinks that Shala brings, the compassion and dedication from Barbara and the protection from Frank is hands down the best I've seen. I have frequented many bars in the area and I can say this is my favorite. They've even hosted a party for me with all the bells and whistles. Reserve the cable car, you won't be disappointed.

Loveee! Usually hit this place up walking home from work. Bartenders are so kind and attentive! Great deals, love the outdoor seating, and amazinggg happy hour deals. I often bring friends here to catch up as well :) good vibes

I hadn't been here since COVID. It was so busy! The drinks were incredible. The bartender was very busy but super nice. I can't wait to go back for happy hour.

Met up a girlfriend for a quick happy hour. We decided to go to Sutter Station on Wednesday, September 12th around 6pm. It was pretty crowded when we arrived, but after waiting around for a little bit, we managed to find two seats at the bar. *Pear vodka w/soda ($5) x2 *Jameson irish whiskey ($5) x2 *Bud light ($4) x2 They have happy hour daily 12pm - 1pm and 5pm - 7pm. I don't really know what specials fall under this, but maybe the $5 jameson shots are a part of it? Not sure how much the bud light was, but I know each round was $14, so I'm guessing the price listed above. We were here for about two hours, so we had two rounds. The atmosphere after work is very lively. A lot of people talking and drinking. The vibe is divey as it's dark and kinda old inside. The bartender was nice and gave us our rounds when we ordered them. Not sure if they serve food here, but I saw people bringing in food from other places. Good that's an option in case you get hungry. Convenient if you want a few cheap drinks after work as the bus stop is right outside.

Shala & Anu are my go-to's here. They make the drinks strong and on point. The bar just went through a major remodel too and it looks great. Awesome spot to catch the games or sit with friends and avoid the commuter traffic. Always a good atmosphere and a mixed crowd. Not sure about a lot of the older reviews for this spot; I've only ever had good times and better service.

    Frosted martini glasses!

I cannot believe I have never been here. Came early after work on a Wed. The martini glasses are frosted. This place has a nice "old man bar" feel that I enjoy. Hope it stays in SF forever and the the hipsters don't ruin it (Jeez I am getting old and sound like a little old lady!)

    Green beer and Jameson

Stopped in after watching the SF St. Patrick's Day Parade. We noticed the sign for green beers and Jameson specials during the weekend so we decided to stop by on the way back to catching the trolley back to Fisherman's Wharf. The place is clean, the polished oak and old leather booths made it feel like an old timey pub, and someone had pumped in some serious into the jukebox (AMI) and used it on some 90s music (always a nice touch). The best part about this place was the ultra clean restroom considering it is a Pub on Market St. I definitely think this could be a great after work spot, a quiet day drinking location, and for sure a poppin place to be at night (or Happy Hour). Good job Sutter Street

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

It takes a lot for me to consider a return visit to a cocktail bar. Most of the time, I just begrudgingly go along with my friends to a mediocre bar, but Blind Pig is a place I would enthusiastically return to again and again. I first got the namesake cocktail: Blind Pig. It was incredibly well-balanced, and the flame presentation upon arrival was an epic mini show. Later during last call, I decided to risk it all and roll the dice to order from the secret menu. I rolled a 5, which got me a wine & Japanese beer concoction with Sichuan peppercorn. Totally feel like this cocktail was made for me, as I rep the 川渝 region. The drink was strong, but that made it all the better. I'm personally over (and too old) dealing with sloppy drunks spilling drinks on you, getting pushed around in a crowd or end up in a middle of a brawl Blind Pig is that perfect spot, well at least on a weeknight: chill, low-key, and moody. And, most importantly comfy seating AND solid AZN inspired craft cocktails ($18-$19). Cocktails with black sesame, taro, pandan, mapo tofu, tea, and hot pot flavors? YAS! D R I N K S * Hot & Sour: Tanqueray Gin w/ Iichiko shochu, aloe, rose, hot pot paste, basil, citrus, peychaud's ($18 x2) The sichuan hot pot inspired cocktail was silky smooth from the milk-washed gin, nicely balanced - sweet (but not too sweet) and sour with a subtle málà numbing spice. Stiff yet easy to drink. The manager/bartender, Leo was awesome with great hospitality. Background lounge-y music is not too loud so you can yap and catch-up with friends. Overall, Blind Pig is a great place to unwind after work or start the night off. If it's too tamed for you, you can always go next door to XEX to make bad decisions - no judgement cuz we've all been there! ;) O T H E R I N F O * Walk-in only. Five years later, I finally stopped by here again but with my little sister this time. I wanted her to try my favorite cocktail bar. Of course, SF made it very difficult to find parking in downtown with all those limited yellow markings and toll away streets. Very annoying! We happened to come by here last month when they were celebrating Asian Heritage Awareness. A lot of their specialities that night were made with pandan! The cocktails were still good but stronger alcohol taste than I remembered. It was packed too and very dim on the inside. They also have an outdoor patio for customers to chill now! Once it was 11pm, the bouncer started to let everybody in, so I'm guessing they only let people inside every 30 minutes to prevent overcrowding, even though once we got in it wasn't that crowded and there was plenty of open space outside too. Having to wait only gave us about an hour inside. It says they close at 12am and that is exactly when they close--you can't stay any longer than that. I'm used to bars typically staying open about 30 minutes to an hour after the listed closing time to allow customers inside to finish up. As soon as 12am hits, the bouncer starts going around and constantly telling you to hurry it up because they are closed now. The service was also pretty slow, which did not give us much time at all to sip and enjoy the drinks before they closed. We started off ordering two drinks, then our waiter came back about 10 minutes later and asked for last call so we ordered another one (this was before our two drinks even came out yet). After about 15 minutes, we got all three drinks and the waiter apologized and said he didn't charge us for the third drink since it took so long. This gave us only about 10-15 minutes to finish our drinks before we started to get told we had to leave. At least my drink (apple bottom beets) was good and I was able to chug it, but I would rather be able to take my time and enjoy a drink. Their menu is huge, and they have a wide selection of different cocktails categorized under which type of liquor is used (rum, agave, brandy). The ambiance is dark and romantic.
