I went on a date here. The interior is dark, & sophisticated - really great sexy date vibes :) The cocktails are very high quality and have the price point to match. I got this pandan scented Japanese whiskey cocktail and it was awesome. Bartenders are cool.
My husband and I used to come here for date nights before having kids! The cocktails were mixed well and tasted like a well blended juice! Service was great too with a very chill vibe! Five years later, I finally stopped by here again but with my little sister this time. I wanted her to try my favorite cocktail bar. Of course, SF made it very difficult to find parking in downtown with all those limited yellow markings and toll away streets. Very annoying! We happened to come by here last month when they were celebrating Asian Heritage Awareness. A lot of their specialities that night were made with pandan! The cocktails were still good but stronger alcohol taste than I remembered. It was packed too and very dim on the inside. They also have an outdoor patio for customers to chill now! Service was phenomenal as usual, but drinks were just as expensive as I remembered. Overall, still a great place for a night out for cocktails!
P.C.H was ranked #41 on North America's 50 Best Bars list for 2026, so of course we had to check it out while in SF. We arrived around 10:35pm and there was a line that was not moving. Once it was 11pm, the bouncer started to let everybody in, so I'm guessing they only let people inside every 30 minutes to prevent overcrowding, even though once we got in it wasn't that crowded and there was plenty of open space outside too. Having to wait only gave us about an hour inside. It says they close at 12am and that is exactly when they close--you can't stay any longer than that. I'm used to bars typically staying open about 30 minutes to an hour after the listed closing time to allow customers inside to finish up. As soon as 12am hits, the bouncer starts going around and constantly telling you to hurry it up because they are closed now. The service was also pretty slow, which did not give us much time at all to sip and enjoy the drinks before they closed. We started off ordering two drinks, then our waiter came back about 10 minutes later and asked for last call so we ordered another one (this was before our two drinks even came out yet). After about 15 minutes, we got all three drinks and the waiter apologized and said he didn't charge us for the third drink since it took so long. This gave us only about 10-15 minutes to finish our drinks before we started to get told we had to leave. At least my drink (apple bottom beets) was good and I was able to chug it, but I would rather be able to take my time and enjoy a drink. Their menu is huge, and they have a wide selection of different cocktails categorized under which type of liquor is used (rum, agave, brandy). The ambiance is dark and romantic.
My wife & I visited SF for the 1st time & stayed at Hotel Emblem next door. We noticed so many people coming in to this place we decided to look it up & see what the fuss was about. Seeing that it was named one of the top 50 best bars in North American, we had to check it out! We came in a Thursday night in mid-April about 9:45 PM. They have security outside thar checks IDs & also manages the queue in case the bar gets too crowded. We had no issues getting in, but there were zero indoor seats available - both the bar & table seating. Thankfully, they have a really cozy & well-lit patio area. The waitress let us know that even the outdoor patio has table-side service, so we made ourselves comfortable on the outdoor bench & within seconds she had brought us waters & cocktail menus. Weather outside was really nice, so I'm glad we actually sat outside. Each cocktail is $20, which definitely is a little steep, but I think the creativity, quality, & prestige of being named a top 50 bar supports the price. Each part of the menu is organized by liquor ie whiskey, vodka, brandy, gin, etc. We tried 4 drinks total. I only took menu photos of the pages we ordered from but they have a lot more selections. We ordered the Kung Fu Pandan, Silky Street, Rice Rice Baby, & Tropical Gangsta. We had some favorites over others, but all were very well crafted! The drinks came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. The only hiccup was our final drink took quite a while. Turns out the ticket machine malfunctioned & deleted orders put in & caused a back-up. The waitress was so apologetic & ended up comp-ing 2 drinks, which she definitely didn't have to but it speaks volumes to the high standards they hold themselves to & their customer service. Overall, highly highly recommend checking this place out for a fun night out or post-dinner treat! Glad we made the decision to stop in!
The cocktails here are always so tasty. I love the vast menu and the Asian influence on their drinks. Street parking but can walk from the Ferry building or other bart stops with enough resolve lol. Bathrooms - 2 single occupant bathrooms in the back. Always clean and big spaces. Service - friendly and attentive. They kept the drinks and water going consistently! Make sure to bring your physical id! They check at the front~
Love. Love. Love this place. I usually only drink two cocktails, and old fashioned and dirty martinis, but here I tried SO many things! And how could you not? Every drink we got was a win! Please come in and have some fun! They get packed so show up early. It's sure to be a vibe.
Oh how nice it is to be in San Francisco and see its recovery post-COVID. The holidays this 2025 finally made me hopeful and seeing PCH during their holiday/Christmas popup reaffirmed that. Came on a Saturday night, saw the line and decided to walk around. The area isn't ideal and there wasn't much around, but we circled back and so glad we did! Was visually striking from the outside with the lights and ornaments, but how beautiful on the inside. After paying a $10 cover/person (cash/venmo ok), we walked in and were immediately greeted by a waiter who handed us a menu. Service was great, he circled back around and after ordering gave us free will to walk around and told us he would find us with our drinks, which he did. All the drinks are $20 with a few gifts like holiday PCH shotglasses on the menu too. Quite pricey, given that for the two of us, a drink each came out to be $70 +tax/tip, but I figured it was to cover all the decor. I ordered the coconut hot chocolate since it was a hot rum drink and I love getting unique drinks that I can't find elsewhere. Was really yummy! Overall, just a great vibe, saw a lot of corporate personalities even dressed up! Should definitely come check it out once during the holiday season, I'll come back to check out their regular menu
I love PCH and recently came by for post-dinner cocktails. It was busy on a Saturday night and a bit loud inside so we sat outside which was comfortable. I appreciate that they have servers outside as well to take your order and I got the rice, rice, baby which is one of my favorite cocktails in the city with rum, toasted brown rice and rice milk. The flavor is unique and I love the toasty rice aroma!
Yes yes yes!! Drinks are so delicious. The vibes are 100% it. I love how they utilize their space very well--to fit in people comfortably, they even have bar counters even in the back. This bar is featured in the list of top 50 bars in North America and normally I feel like those rankings are rigged but no..this place definitely deserves a spot there! Service was also great! Bartenders were all friendly and they were so sweet about changing my drink when I wasn't feeling a tequila base.
I don't do cocktails...but when I do, it's always PCH! They have the most creative, tasty and mind-blowing cocktails on a good day. Service is spectacular as it's modelled after Francis, Manager Extraordinaire. The list is long...there's a drink for everyone. Be sure to arrive with your ID. I won't even talk about their Christmas setup. That's on a whole other universe. PCH is home to my favorite pandan drinks. It's always a great time here.
Caveat: This review update is ONLY for the Miracle at P.C.H. holiday pop-up. I recently stopped by during the Miracle at P.C.H. holiday pop-up on Christmas Eve. There was quite a long line of people waiting to get in, but it moved relatively fast. There was a guy collecting a $10 cover fee per person via cash or Venmo, presumably to offset the cost of decorations and specialty ingredients for their holiday menu. The cover charge is exclusive to the holiday pop-up and does not apply during regular business hours during non-holiday times. Once we got inside, we saw how packed the bar was. There were no available tables or bar seats and barely any room to even stand. We were handed their exclusive holiday menus (their regular menu is unavailable during the EOY holidays), and eventually someone came by where we were standing to take our order. Since we only planned to get one drink each, I informed him while checking out that I'd close the tab. Each holiday cocktail is $20 plus fees and tax, so after accounting for fees, tax, tip, and the original cover charge, our two drinks cost in total over $70! $70+ for two drinks is absolutely ridiculous, especially considering that my drink was at least 75% ice, so I basically paid for frozen water. I came to P.C.H. because I genuinely love this bar and their unique, delicious drinks during normal operations, but their holiday pop-up is the complete opposite of a "miracle". It's an expensive, chaotic disaster. I would not have come had I known for sure their regular menu would be unavailable. Their holiday drinks don't do the bar justice. I will never come to P.C.H. again during the holiday season. It was an unfortunate lesson learned the hard way, but once is enough. I also want to note I don't think any less of the bar or its employees, who are exceptionally professional and friendly, but the burden of putting on this holiday spectacle undoubtedly puts extra stress and pressure on them. There are absolutely no net benefits to staff and patrons from this annual holiday extravaganza.
Came after Christmas on a Saturday at 3:30pm and it was busy enough that there were no spots inside but plenty of outdoor seating. Love that the outside feels just as festive as the inside, with the fake snow blowing every 20-30minutes. I had the coconut hot chocolate and it was so tasty!! There's really nothing like a hot drink when it's cold out.
Loved the magic Christmas decor, the bathroom was a+ and I am a sucker for fake snow. All the drinks were very tasty and service was pretty fast given how packed it was.

Pacific Cocktail Haven (PCH) is an absolute must for anyone who appreciates creative, exceptionally crafted cocktails! We stopped in for drinks and Tina started us off with outstanding customer service. She was incredibly welcoming and made the experience great from the very beginning. We made our way through an impressive lineup of cocktails, including Get Him to the Fenugreek, Extra Fancy, Apple Bottom Beets (one of my favorites!), Barley and Me, Tropical Gangsta, Que Pop Limon Hunters, Mo Mole, Mo Problems, and more. Every drink was unique, beautifully crafted, and absolutely outstanding. Apple Bottom Beets was definitely a standout for me, but there honestly wasn't a bad cocktail in the bunch. We ended the night with Laura closing us out, and her service was just as exceptional. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, everything was 10/10. If you're looking for superb cocktails, creative flavors, and fantastic service, PCH is definitely a place you need to check out! read more
Legitimately one of my favorite bars in San Francisco, there's a reason they've won so many awards. One of the best cocktail bars in the city. Every drink is thoughtfully and carefully crafted, not just mixed and poured. Yes, it is on the pricier side at around $20 per cocktail, but imo it feels justified given the creativity, quality, and overall experience. Coming here around the holiday season is especially magical. The entire place is transformed and decked out in Christmas decorations with from wrapped presents scattered throughout to festive details around every corner.. even the bathroom has its own Mariah Carey theme, with her face plastered all over the walls all while blasting "all I want for Christmas is you" on loop. All the cocktails lean into the holiday spirit too, drinks come in cute Santa mugs, or dinosaurs dressed like santa, they even had a Hanukkah themed glass which was a really nice and thoughtful touch. Everything felt playful and somehow still polished. The service was also great, esp since how packed the place was. each group had a dedicated server who kept the drinks coming quickly . I was impressed with how they remembered who got what especially since people were constantly moving around. bonus points for being dog friendly, theres nothing better than sipping a festive cocktail while spotting doggos dressed up as reindeer and elves. read more

Amazing cocktail bar on a regular day, AND special bonus for the holidays is the spectacular Christmas pop up bar they become. SO cute inside and the holiday cocktails actually taste delicious. There's usually a line to get in, so plan accordingly. The earlier the better! But it's good crowd control so you're not squished like sardines in there. read more
This might be my favorite cocktail bar in the city. I've been here countless time as it's in my neighborhood. It's ranked in the top 50 bars in North America. The cocktails are so unique and each one is crafted with so much detail and thought. The bartenders are amazing and so friendly, offering great recommendations. The ambience in here is so vibey, it's perfect for a night out with friends or a date night. You can't go wrong with any drink here. Honestly, highly recommend this place!! read more
Stumbled across Pacific Haven while looking for a quick drink and ended up finding one of my favorite bars in SF. There's some street parking around, but we parked in a nearby garage. Once you walk in, the vibe instantly hits. Dim lighting, chill atmosphere, and great music. Super relaxing, gives speakeasy vibes. We sat at a small table near the bar (you can seat yourself), and I loved that they take your order at the table. No crowding around the bar, which is a huge plus. We both ordered the Pornstar Martini, which comes with a shot of dry wine on the side that you can use to either to mix in if the drink's too sweet or sip on separately. Honestly, the drink was so good we just kept ordering more and that ended up being our drink of choice for the rest of the night. Service was excellent. Our server checked on us often, super attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they really care about giving everyone a great experience. Also, minor detail but they would frequently check the restroom to make sure it was clean and that's something I really appreciate especially since it was a one stall restroom. Highly recommend Pacific Haven if you're in the area. I'm definitely coming back! read more
Four of us stoped by before a concert around 8pm on a Saturday. It was lively but we were able to walk in and grab a table right away. There are servers so you don't have to go up to the bar to order which I appreciated since it prevented lines. All cocktails are $20. I know this is normal for SF but it's definitely more than I usually spend on a drink. I did end up loving what I ordered though (Silky Street - Song Gin, amaro, jackfruit-coconut cream, sudachi, longan, pandan) and would come back just for this drink! Overall enjoyed our time here :) read more

What a hidden gem this place is. Nestled next to our hotel we walked by this unassuming cocktail bar. Once I saw the drink menu, I knew we had to try it. The drinks are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Top tier cocktails in an elegant and chill environment. Bartenders were experts in their craft. No food served here, that's the only downside. Lite snacks or just appetizers would really elevate the experience here. I wish I had a place like this by me. read more

After a dinner with coworkers, we all decided to pop into Pacific Cocktail Haven. After walking in, I knew this was my kind of vibe. The lighting, the music, the bar all caught my attention. I then realized PCH had been recognized as one of the best bars in the world. There is clearly a reason why. I ordered my go-to cocktail - a dirty martini- which came with a sidecar. It was divine. The bar was pretty busy and our large group arrived close to last call. They were friendly and while the bar was slammed, our server (I think Luis) kept us updated on the status of our drinks. As we know, good cocktails take time. If I lived in the area I would find myself here for sure. read more
Waited outside at 10 pm Friday night. There was a line, but it went fast. It was crowded and noisy inside, but can still find a seat and have a conversation with some effort. Server was nice but underutilized serving two inexperienced drinkers. Both drinks was good and thoughtfully crafted. read more

Went here on a Thursday night and it was super cool. Very cute vibe and the service was nice. The bar wasn't too packed there was till places to sit. We ordered the pornstar martini and it was amazing. I would definitely comeback here just for that drink. We also ordered the tipsy panda kiss and the swizzle my nizzle. Both drinks were also good. This spot delivers on atmosphere, service, and cocktails. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night out or just an amazing drink. read more

Out of all the Miracle pop ups I've been to, PCH does amazing on the Christmas decor. It is kind of scammy though that they are charging $10 cover when we went on a Tuesday at 7pm. The bartenders are very unfriendly - lowkey ignore you when it wasn't busy. The prices are also higher here for the cocktails and the mugs compared to other Miracles. There are other Christmas bars I would rather go to in the city with better vibes. read more

Perfection. It's hard to find a bar in SF that is clean, has a nice vibe and serves drinks that is worth the price. PCH ticks all the boxes Ambiance: 10/10 Love everything about the decor, perfect amount of lighting - just a modern, clean, classy vibe with Asian/tropical-esque accents Service: 10/10 I've been coming here for years and it's always a treat when Francis is there! Somehow he always remembers us and takes the time to come check in on us and makes us feel at home. There are also other servers around that are so good about noticing when we finish our drinks and come check in to see if we need anything. Drinks: 10/10 My go-to is the Thrilla in Manila. I usually would never drink whiskey but it's this perfectly creamy, sweet and tangy concoction. Such a stunning bar. Inside and outside. I loved the option to sit outside - I'm sure this area is poppin on a warm sunny day. We came at night when it was still slightly chilly so there wasn't anyone besides our group outside but we had a great time. I got a taste of a couple drinks that my coworkers ordered and they were all delicious. The inside ambiance is such a vibe. I loved this place. read more

Does PCH have mocktails?
Yes! My friend who doesn't drink got a mocktail at PCH in November and liked it.
As of 2024, can we bring in outside food? I read PCH partnered with Hogwash in the past - which has permanently closed - and also partnered with ABACÁ. From which restaurants can we bring in food to eat while we drink? Thank you.
Are you dog friendly?
I saw a dog and their menu states four legged friends are welcomed

Nope! PCH partnered with Pinoy Heritage two years ago. They are now ABACÁ.
Is the Christmas pop up still open on 1/3? Online sources (Eater) say that it's open until 1/4, but wanted to make sure!
Last day for Miracle at PCH was NYE. We’ve closed till Monday for repairs.
Are kids allowed?
Nope. No one underage. A girlfriend's ID expired and she couldn't even stay in the bar we had to leave. Kinda sucked but the cocktails are so worth it. Honestly wouldn't want kids in there (sorry)
