First viewed by Steve Perez PA then a young nurse and was in and out in 30 minutes. I'm a Sutter Health Care patient and I'm very happy with their care given to me. Prescription was apparent sent to another pharmacy according to the front desk receptionist. Go to the next pharmacy day after and it's not there! I've literally been calling for 42MINUTES just to confirm if they see infants or only see patients 18 months and up like walk in for Rancho Cordova. I've been told I'm "#1 in queue since I called. Save people the time and add this info to your website since you clearly have no desire to answer the phone. It's also unreal that Rancho cordova ALSO has no damn idea what the minimum age is for Folsom. The lady who bothered to answer that phone was clueless about everything but her name. I challenge you to find somewhere where your time is less respected than at a Sutter Health facility. What do you get for a premium price? Clowntown. Here is my experience: 1. Called three times prior to my appt to ensure they had the proper equipment. Nobody called me back as promised. 2. Arrived to an empty front desk, filled out my paperwork and waited. Once the front desk staff arrived she did not call on me but checked in the first person to walk in after me never acknowledging my existence. I had to stand up and make my presence known. 3. Once taken back in I sat there for 40 mins, a nurse came in looking for supplies and asked if my 11 yr old daughter wanted some water, she said yes and the nurse disappeared and never returned. 4. 15 mins later a Physicians assistant arrived and the equipment I called about 3 times before was present but not ready. We spent the next 20 mins watching them prepare the equipment so it could be used. 5. The PA performed the procedure but said my daughter needed to receive a dressing for the procedure and we needed to sign a waiver. After 15 mins of waiting alone in the room again I decided that they had ZERO respect for our time, left the room and went up front to pay my copay and have them find the waiver. My daughter never received the dressing for her procedure so we did it ourselves at home. Sutter is the absolute worst and they cost the most! Blech! No wonder they are always getting sued. read more

Showed up on crutches with an ankle injury at a little before 7 and they close at 8:30. The tech immediately greeted me by telling me they are no longer accepting patients. She didn't say hello, didn't offer any suggestions and just didn't seem to care at all. She did this in front of my teenage son and another patient. She was completely lacking professionalism and compassion. I am an NP with the walk in care clinics and was speechless. read more

My wife and I had an amazing experience here! We got there right when it opened to avoid the wait. We saw Dr. Johnson immediately and this review is mainly for him. What a great, knowledgeable and friendly doctor. From the start he had a suspicion what was going on with my wife, immediately got us into imaging and when we got back didn't even make us wait. He was right on the money with his initial thoughts. His bedside manner the entire time kept us calm when we were both anxious. I went there tonight because I have a foot injury. After spending some time in registration ( not a big deal) because the office front desk staff were friendly. I get into a room , they had closed at 8:30. I get put in a room right about 8:30pm. The assistant is taking my vitals and while the blood pressure machine is doing it's thing, Dr. A. Jackson entered the room and while one arm is reading my blood pressure, he starts in on what is wrong, "well take your sock off" . In the meantime I hear the assistant say she wants to take my blood pressure again because it seemed high. Because of his behavior she takes the machine off and exits the room. He didn't touch my foot or even remotely look at it. He then says , you need an x-ray. (No kidding) He then says , I can't do anything more for you than what you are currently doing. Didn't ask what I was doing for treatment but I told him. I had been soaking and taking 800mg of ibuprofen. He then goes into well that's all I would have here. I said "I'm not looking for pain medication, I want to know what is wrong with my foot! We will x-ray, is all he said. I tried to explain my previous injury to my back and a recent work related fall and he didn't care. Walked out, sent assistant in with x-ray referral for tomorrow all in less than 1 minute I believe. What kind of patient care is this? He didn't care, how , where, or possible cause of injury or even what was painful! I am appalled this is care provided by any doctor. I don't go to physicians even once a year and this is exactly why? My x-ray referral also says not to go back to clinic but go back home after my x-rays! Where is my follow up care? What was done for my foot pain? That's correct absolutely nothing. I hope there's no charge as I will definitely have to see a treating physician! read more

Would put 0....I made an appointment for 12 and it says to come by 11:45 to check in. I came a little early(11:30) and checked in. The girl upfront said I was checked in and on the board it said 20-40 min wait. .....it is 12:40 now and the 2 people that walked in After me and signed the clipboard were called back. During me waiting I asked one girl that was getting the patients if there was anyone upfront that could help and she just said sorry one minute....20 mins later....Someone came up and I asked if the wait is for people with appointments as well as walk in's She reply, there is a wait we have one Dr....I then said 2 people went in front of me are you prioritizing based on severity? She then said "they had appointments before you.." I got there at 11:30 they showed up at 12 and 12:20....how can that be? My appointment was for 12. The girl up front didn't even stay up there more then 10 mins out of the hour and 20mins I was there....if there is a wait tell your patient the accurate time at check in and then admit when you fucked up. Not coming back ever again. I work as a front office coordinator...first priority is your Patient, not being in the back room cooking your food and giving sort rude reply's. The worst urgent care you could go to. I drove 40 Mins to get faster service. Unfortunately it was still a 2 hour plus wait and no one was there. And good luck getting medications or anything prescribed. They lie straight to your face and do the opposite. You need to call at least 20 times before you can get someone to do something. The staff there talks to you like you are an idiot. Not our fault one person says something, then someone else says differently. Just do yourself a favor and go to a place with better customer service and doctors who truly care to help their patients. I have never seen such low quality care from doctors and Healthcare staff. This is the worst urgent care experience I have ever had with a doctor named Anthony Lynwood Jackson. I went in to be seen about my tonsil issues. I had tested positive for COVID previously, had done the CDC recommended quarantine, talked to the advice nurse and the ER and was told to go into Urgent care to be seen. I answered the questionnaire and everything and I was cleared to go in. Anthony Lynwood Jackson was hostile, rude, and yelled at me. He said I should not be at urgent care as I had COVID recently and refused to look at my throat. I told him I was told to come in by other doctors and he said those doctors are wrong and he's the doctor here and I have to listen to him. Each time I tried to explain he cut me off and yelled. He refused to even step in the same room with me and look at the issues I had going on. He gave me Amoxicillin without any diagnosis or positive test and told me to "just take it". I left in tears. This doctor should not be working. He is awful. I am so disappointed in Sutter. Avoid this sutter location and Anthony Lynwood Jackson at ALL costs. God forbid anyone try to receive care. read more

My son went in on Monday with what might be a UTI. The doc said that she would test him for STDs, and if they returned negative, she would issue antibiotics for a UTI. We have waited and waited. I called Wens and left a message. I called Thursday, and the service just says they are busy and automatically disconnects your call. I have called 3x today and was disconnected. Managed to get put on hold on this last call. Waited for about 20 minutes on hold. She said she saw my message from Wed., but she can't help me as the Doc is not in today and does not know when she will be in. Horrible, horrible service. We still have no idea what is wrong. It has been a total waste of time, and am never going back there. read more

I visited the clinic on October 18, 2020 around 6:03pm. A Sutter physician advised that I should go to urgent care since the Radiology department identified a possible fracture. This injury has not resolved or improved for over three days. I was excited for someone in urgent care to finally give me some definitive answers. Unfortunately, I left the clinic feeling unresolved. I waited approximately 35 minutes for the physician to see me. There was no other patients in the clinic, so I'm not exactly sure why I waited so long. Finally, Dr Eric Pace entered the exam room looking agitated and was extremely rude right off the bat. Not to mention, he was also very condescending. He explained to me that he suspected a fracture was misidentified because "the radiologist doesn't have the luxury of poking around to see the exact location of injury." I further, explained that I was concerned because my symptoms weren't resolving and all of the first aid advice given by a Sutter physician 2 days ago wasn't really doing much. He proceeded to offer a splint as a temporary solution, then asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I took a breath, not knowing what to say. As a response he said, " I don't have a magic wand " and " you could go back to the walk in clinic you started at." I was dumb struck, this is what my healthcare premium gets me, thanks doc from one medical professional to another. The 2 Stars are for the Medical Assistants, they were wonderful ! read more

DO. NOT. GO. HERE!!!!!!!! The wait was INSANE!!!! The place doesn't even open up until 1pm (never heard of an urgent care opening so late) so I got here for my son to be seen right when they opened. There was only one person in front of us. I have been sitting here now for AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!!! Even if there is one doctor on staff that still doesn't make sense. The only reason we even had to come here is because his primary care didn't have any openings today which is another story for another review day. So needless to say I won't be coming back in fact I may just switch over to UC Davis doctors from here on out. Done!!!! read more

Absolute worst experience I have ever had at a sutter facility. The old reviews are exactly correct. I had an appointment at 5:30, mind you I am sick and couldn't get an appointment with my regular doctor so this was my only option. I arrive they check me in everything is quite normal and tell me that the PA will be right in. I proceeded to wait 2 hours and was seen at 7:50. I waited this whole time no one came in to let me know it would be a long wait, I had to call the front desk and ask them when the doctor would be in. They then told me I was next. An hour after being told I was "next" I walked out of the room and they apologized about the wait and told me someone cut off their finger. Which understandable but I am not sure what takes two hours when all I need is my vitals checked and a simple checkup. I would give this place 0 stars if i could. read more

I would like to speak to someone regarding the extreme lack of care for my son. Trying to call but can't speak to an actual person. I brought my 2.5 year old because he was very congested and breathing heavily. Instead of giving him a breathing treatment or making any attempt at helping I was immediately sent to the ER. My husband was traveling and I was just myself with three young boys. Never having been to the ER for anything, it was quite the terrifying experience. All my son needed was a breathing treatment and I could have been spared the terror of the ER, spending 4 hours at the hospital with my kids and a $1400 hospital bill. read more

I went in to urgent care for a problem with my feet. The Urgent Care doctor prescribed me nothing and told me to buy over the counter anti fungal ointment. He barely even looked at my feet and it was a total and complete waste of my time and money. What was needed was a biopsy to find out what is actual wrong. It has taken 10 months for the doctor to give me a biopsy. You should not have to wait 10 months for a diagnosis. Very disappointed! I still don't have my biopsy results. read more

For context, we have had overwhelmingly positive experiences with Sutter for the last year. Today we went to this urgent care location, arriving 20 minutes after opening with an infant with a potentially dangerous fever and waited 1.75 hours to be seen. The staff seemed to be competent, there were just too few of them. It seems very unlikely this was an isolated incident due to volume, given that it was a normal-seeming volume of patients on a Sunday morning that right off the bat backed up into huge wait times. Does not seem to be a fully functional urgent care clinic, which, I would think, would strive to respond urgently. read more

Went in to have my blood drawn for my annual physical. The nurse that attended to me was great. Not sure where they send the blood for tests/analysis but the results came back all wrong. My physician was shocked and told me that my liver was completely bad and that I was not going to survive based on the test results. So he sent me back and had me after a week and had be do some more tests. Turns out the tests were all normal this time. But the lab billed me for these tests even after letting them know that they screwed up the first time. My physician told me that the chemicals they probably used were tainted which is what skewed the blood work results. I went back to the Sutter Care facility to talk to them and they redirected me to the customer care phone line. After numerous hours and repeating this to several agents they lodged a case only to dismiss this without any logical explanation or action. Meanwhile I`ve been ripped off of $475. Please go elsewhere for your lab work and avoid the stress. I`ve let all my friends know about this and they`ve had similar experiences as well. Too bad they don`t have no stars to rate this place. read more

Very clean and nice urgent care and I was in and out very quickly. Lost two stars though because of the provider I saw. It was the PA Steven Peres. I came in with a blistering burn from an essential oil on my chest. Steven's attitude toward me was extremely condescending and rude and even stated "haven't you ever had a burn before?" And then he sent me on my way with not so much a dressing instruction. In fact he said to keep it open to air. As a nurse myself, I don't just come into urgent care for small things. Well, this burn has gotten worse and I ha FYI seek more advanced help. I did not appreciate the condescending tone of Steven Peres. Bedside manner is so important and I did not feel safe or heard as a patient under his care. read more

I came here a couple years ago with grinding metal in my eye the same dr is here again anyway last time all she did was scratched my eye twice as bad as it was and told me to go to er across the street so I did and they got it out but I did get a bill from this crooked place now I got poison oak a they give a hole new meaning to urgent care so slow I even call first to see if your busy they said two ahead of me that means two hrs I guess I'm still here I explained Nicley that I would have to come back but won't ever come back even the girls at the desk are not even nice do people not like there jobs read more

I arrived at 12:30 to ensure I was first in line to be seen by a provider. When I checked in there were two people, myself and a man. I was put in a room after a few minutes and a cold/insensitive welcome from the front staff. Only to have my vitals taken by a medical assistant who could not even pronounce medical terms or medications correctly. I told them I have severe right side pain- probably from my large ovarian cyst that is scheduled to be removed Friday (so obviously enough pain to warrant an office visit) but the pain was getting worse and I wanted to make sure it was not something else or that it had ruptured- which could cause a lot of damage. The girl asked where the cyst was- uhm on my ovary? Seeing as how I saw it was an OVARIAN cyst. She had me take a pee test- didn't tell me why then said a provider will be with you shortly. An hour later I am on the phone with y doctors office crying telling them I'm in pain and not being seen- they thankfully understand medical conditions and squeezed me in today. However, the incompetent medical assistants at the urgent care were more interested in giggling and gossiping about boys and best friends within earshot of all patients than provide even an ounce of compassionate care. Take your money elsewhere!!!!!! BONUS just saw online they charged me and DIAGNOSED me even though I was never seen! Fraud and negligence. read more

This is for the Lab at this location. This is unlike any Sutter lab I have ever been to. They make you fill out paperwork and make you sign all these forms. It just seems so outdated. They told me it was because I was not in their system but I have been a sutter patient for years and went to another sutter lab just days before and had no paperwork. They really need to update their computers to be more like other Sutter labs. They also call in multiple patients at a time and only have one gal taking blood. read more

Open 1:00 pm-8:30 pm. I took an early lunch at work to go get checked out, not realizing they didn't open until 1pm.

Waited 45 minutes in room after getting vitals done. Only one other patient there ahead of me. They were suppose to call me back for lab results; they never did. I tried calling back a week later on 3-28-19 at 3:48pm. Automated phone said there was one caller ahead of me. I'm still waiting at 4:12pm. I can hear a button being pushed every couple of minutes as if someone is putting me back on hold. read more

My Wife went and saw her Doctor at Sutter Health the other day and her Doctor was good. However, the security guard was also a blessing. His name is Travis, and he gave us some extra goodies. So convenient, they were able to take care of me without me having to go the the Emergency Room. I knew I needed IV fluids after not being able to keep anything down for more than 12 hours. From the MA, LVN, RN, and PA that participated in my care they were courteous, efficient and respected my input on the plan of care.
