I spent quite a bit of time researching who I trusted with it and was very lucky to discover that Nesbit's is right here in Seattle. I brought it to them in June. They originally estimated about 12 weeks, and it ultimately took closer to 20 -- but honestly, it was completely worth the wait. I picked it up at the end of September, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The bracelet looks so incredibly clean that, at first, I thought they had replaced it. The new crystal is beautiful, and the case looks fantastic after polishing. They didn't erase every deeper ding, mark, or bit of patina, which I'm actually glad about. Those little imperfections are part of its history and a reminder that this was my grandpa's watch. I want it to look beautiful, but I also want it to still look like the watch he wore. It's running and keeping time better than it has in years. My grandpa wore this watch constantly and apparently never left it with a watchmaker long enough to be properly serviced, so by the time I inherited it, the gaskets had deteriorated and it wasn't running or keeping time well anymore. It really needed the work. The restoration was a significant investment at $1,200 plus tax, but I feel very good about it. I estimate the restoration added at least that much back into the value of the watch, particularly because it preserved all of those beautiful original details. I have absolutely no intention of selling it, though. To me, its real value is that it belonged to my grandpa. Huge thanks to Nesbit's for taking such good care of it. It's beautiful, it's running like it should again, and I feel very lucky to live close enough to have had it restored locally.

The people running this facility obviously care about it because I never see a machine broken and they are always cleaning the machines. There is never garbage on the floor and it's always spotless. I like that they have a restroom, even thought I have never had to use it before. Most places don't. Usually I just come in, throw all my laundry in the large machine and go from there. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's not. I don't come on the weekend because I don't want to deal with that but there have been weekdays when it has been very busy but it has never stopped me from getting any washers or dryers. I do like to use numerous dryers at once but if it gets busy sometimes it just takes me a little time to get everything dry. I wish the dryers were a little hotter, but what are you going to do? The owners and staff are no nonsense, but they have never been rude. The other customers have always been friendly to me so that's always a plus. The best part is that they use a card system so you don't have to worry about finding quarters!! I'll never go anywhere else!

You can buy anything and everything technology related here, and the workers are geniuses and extremely helpful. Plus they have a great 30 day return policy if something goes awry. Technology related waste is no joke! Considering a secondhand option saves you money and helps the planet... so why not just do it? In the past 3 months i have purchased a computer monitor, SD cards, HDMI cords, and used CDs for a bargain. Most things are refurbished and they are very honest about conditions. Some pieces are mint condition, some pieces are sold for parts. They had a very nice selection of iMacs as well. Also, this location DOES NOT offer repair services, that is something their Tukwila location offers.

Second appointment rolls around. Again, she's surprised to see me. She searches around and pulls out my dress that she HASN'T STARTED. Then proceeded to make a lot of excuses about her sick grandkid and never apologised. Also starts complaining about another bride who has had 5 fittings. Tacky and unprofessional. I'm frantic at this point and try to call other alteration places, but they're booked and I'm SOL. I reminded her of what we agreed on and that the dress was supposed to be finished in a week. She refits me just as the first meeting and promises to be done in a week. Lumpy gravy at this point. Third appointment and she's finally not surprised and actually worked on my dress. She's talking herself up a storm about the great work she did. (took in the cups and hemmed the dress that was tulle-aka cut with scissors. I guess that's worth bragging about?) Dress fits, I'm annoyed but that's life and I want to leave with my dress. Now there fun part, she wants to charge more than double her first estimate because she said it was "harder and rush job". Jaw on the floor. I explained to her that it was her fault it was a rush job. She had a ton of heads up from when I made the appointment and over a month after our first fitting. And was proud of my non-confrontational self for sticking up for myself and did not do that. Burnt heavy covered in poo at this point. As for the quality, the cup alteration was fine. The hem has a hack job. Jagged and she claimed it was "so hard" to do. It's tulle so luckily that hides well and no one noticed. But lady, stop the BS and excuses. TLDR; Are you looking for someone who is unreliable, disorganized, poorly skilled (I'm assuming this since she talked herself up so much when it came to simply cutting tulle), unable to adhere to timelines, and makes all the excuses ever? Judy's your girl.
