03/26/27 I called an made an appointment for a 5 PM pedi. I haven't been to this salon in over 20 years. Heather answered the phone, and she had the sweetest voice and was so nice. I arrived, and turns out, my tech was Heather! She is the new owner, she purchased it about 5 months ago. She has given it a complete update. New pedi chairs, new paint, new flooring. It's small, clean, simple, fresh, not cluttered with stuff. Soft music playing. One TV on, but no sound. This made it relaxing. There are four techs, so it isn't a super busy or loud place. Heather was so funny, and sweet, and we talked but then when I just wanted to relax, she let me do that too. They offer different beverages, including coffee, wine, mimosa's, and a few other options - I had my own water so didn't pay that much attention to what all was on the list. Heather usually does nails, but picks up pedi's when she needs to. Her nail style is fun, flirty, girly designs (I asked to see pics of some of her work). There is another tech (who's name I didn't get) who likes to do free-style, tell her to do what she wants, and she does it! Pedi's start at $25. They have all kinds of nail techniques, dip, powder, shellac, lots of polish, gel and powder colors. I recommend, and will go back! read more

No Banshees here, nor any Suzi Quattros as far as I "James" Caan tell. Barbie's only had her nails done here twice and both times it was because we were in a hurry and because they're cheap. We find them to be very friendly and to do good work, and although they don't offer some of the extensive extravagant service that some of the more expensive places we go to offer, they are very friendly and very personable and we for one do not mind all of the personal questions. We think it's super nice and friendly and real and I don't really believe in etiquette, I just believe in humans being human, and I guess some people don't like human interaction. We do. Besides, a lot of the time when they're asking personal questions most of the customers think it's hilarious and fun and answer because they like to talk - because that's one of the reasons to go to a salon I guess. And then other customers probably just ignore the questions or change the subject. If I gave a bad rating to every place that ever gave me a personal question (including inappropriate kinds), there'd be a lot of bad ratings in my best reviews. read more

Fast and affordable. This is what this nail salon offers and when I am on the go and need to sneak to the nail salon this is the place! May not be the most luxurious but to be honest I don't mind it for the amazing prices. I came in here simply needing a nail polish change since I screwed up my polish from my recent pedi and also I had broken a nail and needed a fast fix, the ladies from Suzie's were able to take care of my by issues at the same time and paid a little over $10 for those quick fixes! They have a large staff and kindly greet all their guests which is nice even with the language barrier. Will keep this place on mind for my mani/pedi next time. read more

I'm going to be honest....I've been going to Suzie's for years, and every time I think it'll be better and it hasn't. They do a good job with the nails, but every nail technician I get always ask prying questions about my personal life that I'm not comfortable answering (except for a few). The same nail technician that I had before asked me the same question: Do you have a date tonight? And when I said no they said "oh I thought you had actual plans? That's why you came in?" No, I just came in to get my nails done. They keep commenting on how rough my hands are. And whenever I refuse the paraffin wax they keep pushing it. One technician confused me with another "ethnic" woman and kept asking about my kids, and I told her I didn't have kids. Yet she kept asking. I hate to write this, bc the overall staff is nice and they try to do a good job, but I'm so tired of being treated and asked the same questions. read more

I've been to many salons and this is one of the few where they actually do NOT talk about the customers. It is small and have that hole in the wall homey feel to it. Employee's are welcoming & kind. Came in for a quick shellac manicure, price is $25 but $5 extra since I wanted to get white tips. The lady that did my manicure was precise, got all my dead skin & extra loose pieces. When it came to doing the shellac polish, she seemed to have gotten it onto the skin around my nail beds, but she seemed to have been cleaning it up so I didn't say anything. Once she had finished, there was no massage. Which I found odd. I've gotten plenty manicures in which I've always received massages. Still didn't matter, I assumed maybe that's why the price was cheaper than usual. After I paid and left, I took a good look at my nails, I had only driven down the street when I realized there was shellac around my nail and onto my skin. Yet, I still tried to fix it myself. I ended up coming back to the salon where they tried to fix, but picked at my skin causing me to bleed. No one was rude or disrespectful. I did find it inconvenient that I felt the need to go back to fix something that hadn't been done correctly in the first place. I am saddened that this was my first experience at Suzie's. read more

I came in here on a whim because my original nail salon was way too busy. I was totally disappointed. My shellac on my nails are partly on my skin or not covering my nail completely. I felt very rushed when it came to my nails. Also, it's the wrong color! I tried to correct her but she didn't seem like she understood. My nails were supposed to be a deep red, instead it's like a hocus pocus purple. Wtf! Then I looked at my pedicure and my nails got smudged while putting on my sandals and she didn't even attempt to fix it. She tried to hide it more. I won't be returning. $22 for shellac that chiped after only two days of wear, at first they gave me the wrong color. When I told them that it wasn't the color I had chose they argued and told me it was. So I pulled out the shellac samples and showed them which one I wanted. That is way too much for something thats just going to peel off in a couple of days. Very disappointed. read more

Came in for a nail refill and a toe polish change. Brian refused to file my toe nails shorter. I get this done every few weeks so they weren't long. Said it would take too long over and over. I insisted he not use clippers. Brian then handed me the file to do it myself. Never ever treated like this in any nail salon I have ever been too. There is no excuse for his behavior. A polish change is $15, way too much anyway, and he can't file the nails. read more

I came in on a whim one evening. Ann sat me right away and proceeded to do a set of the best nails I've had in a while. She did beautiful acrylic flowers on each ring finger freehand. Two weeks later, my nails are still firmly attached, no lifting around the edges as happens rather often at other places. Friendly shop, with everyone talking amongst themselves or all together. I'm not a very sociable person, but found myself at various times in conversation with one of the other nail techs and a couple of ladies from my old stomping grounds up north. This place was horrible. They didn't clean the pedi-tub. The tools were not sterilized. They were rude. They took people in front of me. I paid 100 for two shellac pedis. They didn't do all the services listed on the pedi I picked. I was not happy with any part of the pedi. My color did not turn out like the sample I picked. The lady told me that I have to tell them before I do the final coat if I don't like the color.. Well I thought you were going to make it match the sample I picked. The best thing about this nail place is the nail art! They will spend hours on you and stay late to make extra special designs on your nails! Bows hearts gems anything you like. They also do shellac polish which will last for over a month on your toes without chipping! It's not fancy on the inside but they do good work! read more

Highly unprofessional and unwilling to understand the needs of their customers. When I tried to call and address my concern the owner was completely out of line to hang up midconversation without understanding the customer and ending the conversation by rudely noting that the charge is made and service is done so there's nothing more to be done when clearly there was an unfair charge and a huge misunderstanding. Also a big warning to anyone who wishes to go near closing hours! DO NOT GO THERE! Save yourself the trouble. You will be unfairly charged and yelled at on the phone when calmly trying to make a logical point. Businesses should strive to be more ethical and professional, this was a sad wake up call knowing such a capable business is owned by someone so incapable in understanding their customers or the concern regarding a wrongful charge. She wasn't even ready to admit that there is a communication problem and it is unfair to charge for a service not provided. read more

I went here because of the good reviews on here. I came in Monday around two and was asked to schedule an appointment. So I made one for three the following day. I came about seven minutes early and ended up waiting until three thirty to start. Apparently the guy who did my nails was new. He rushed through the whole thing and was kind of rough. He did not wait for the polish to dry in between coats and I ended up sitting at the drying station for almost forty minutes. My nails smudged five minutes out the door. The next morning they looked even worse. Plus they were crooked and uneven. Complete waste of money and time. read more

I love Susie's. I have been going here for the last several months. I do not have a "person" that I prefer necessarily, but honestly, they have all been great! The young lady that works the front desk is so kind and helpful. They offer you the warm neck wraps and have a great complimentary drink menu. It is a little on the higher end as far as prices go, but you really do get what you pay for in my opinion... it is SO relaxing and my two hour escape every two weeks. read more
