Wow! Just got back from Nairobi and so happy to see a Swahili restaurant in Denver! Better than nandos! The flavors, freshness and crunch to the chicken is amazing. Coming back for so much more

The chicken Brahmin is really good with the perfect amount of flavor. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Best Indian food I've had in Denver! And Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Their name…read moremight be India Express but they have a lovely dining room and amazing staff that make it a great place to sit down. We came on a Thursday night around 7p, the dining room was empty - crazy. Araz took care of us and he must have refilled the water 5 times he was so top of everything! We started with chai tea, absolutely delicious. Love the creaminess and spices. They bring out come crispy chips and dipping sauces on the house. Such a light and delicious starter. I could eat the dips plain. We also got the chaat samosas. Incredible! The seasonings and textures paired so well, crunchiness of the samosas over a bed of perfectly cooked chickpeas with red onion and yogurt drizzle adding a fresh element. And they cut them to make it easier to share. I had the lamb Korma. Incredible. Just the perfect blend of spices, creaminess. Comes with rice but their garlic naan is amazing and pairs so well with it. My boyfriend had the chicken madras, also amazing. He didn't want a creamy dish and this was perfect for him. Everything was so memorable, i can't wait to come back

I looked so stupid but my server was very nice about it and consoled me out of my wobbles. First time getting together with all 7 of my siblings in a few weeks so it was a very special occasion. Our servers name was Sharmila and she was very attentive and informed of the menu. She was very kind to have endured my rowdy family and we tipped her graciously for her trouble. My brother and I arrived fashionably early while the others arrived just early. Being fashionable is a recessive gene and we can't all be winners or else there'd be no losers and what fun would that be? They started the table with these neat little fake tortilla chips. It came with 3 sauces for dipping a sweet, tangy/minty and a spicy one. The spicy one is important to try because that's about the level of spice of their hottest dishes. For apps we got the cauliflower, the texture was nice and fluffy, the flavor was tangy without being too aggressive. An app is supposed to ease you in! SOMEPLACES HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CREATE APPETIZERS THAT SUCK YOUR SOUL OUT! Sorry for raising my voice... ahem... this place is thankfully not one of them. We also got the cucumber salad which was really good but it's cucumbers, you love em or you hate em. Moving on. Next was the onion rings. In my head they were gonna be like Indian onion rings but they were just like normal rings but ig since they had Indian dipping sauces that counts? They get by on a technicality. I DONT MAKE THE RULES AND IM TIRED OF YOU GETTING MAD AT ME FOR THEM! Excuse me I'm not sure where that came from... Ok "few" that was a lot! For me main entree I got me some baryani with chx. I got the medium spiciness because the hot sauce at the start was too much for me, call me a knave but my sibs said I'm a prince, WHAT ARE YOU AN HEIR TOO?! Didn't think so. Sorry for yelling, your tone is just bothering me. Anyway my food was good. I could hardly finish it and I don't want to hear it. THE PORTIONS WERE SO BIG FOR THE PRICE! HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!?! Ok signing off, I can't with your attitude and I take back my apology from earlier. If you even care to make it up to me go visit this amazing restaurant and Sharmila a 50% tip.

They have very soothing spa music playing (a little odd, but also charming). You can see that the owners probably did their own repairs and upgrades. We ordered cocktails and saw that they used top shelf alcohol. The food was very flavorful. Not the Indian flavors that I'm used to, but delicious. The tandoori chicken pieces were massive and they did not skimp on the sides of rice like other Indian restaurants. The garlic naan was paper thin like a roti and infused with so much garlic! Our server was very sweet and attentive. She carefully made both our cocktails and when we complimented her, she was humbled and honored. If you're in the Denver area, please drop by this restaurant.

I sorely wish I could give higher marks but…read more.. Came by on a weekday evening and it was very quiet. Our server was meh. Gave off a strong "I don't want to be here" vibe and was not particularly attentive (and was definitely not busy). We ordered two specials: lamb shank and the fish curry along with cilantro naan. Had really high hopes for both and they fell very flat. For the high price, portions were also a bit sad. The lamb was overcooked to the point of severe dryness and the fish was also overcooked, resulting in an almost rubbery texture. The rice was fine (kinda hard to ruin that) and the naan was also a bit overdone. We didn't order any dessert given the quality of the entrees. I'm really bummed. Indian is my favorite cuisine and I live within walking distance and could easily have become a regular. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

The Nepali chow mein is very flavorful, and they are generous with the meat portion. We ordered the lamb vindaloo and Jamaican goat curry at a 4/5 spice level, which ended up being a bit too spicy for my taste. I think a 3/5 would be perfect next time. Both curries were delicious, and the meats were very tender. The naan is excellent, though the rice was a little on the dry side. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and we'll definitely return soon.

The kulfi was absolutely amazing and easily one of the highlights of the meal! It made for a comfortable, relaxed dinner where we could actually enjoy the food and conversation. Overall, a great experience and somewhere I'd happily return to when I'm back in the area. Since it's close to the airport, it seemed like the perfect place to satisfy my craving for great Indian food. It turned out to be an excellent decision. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The menu was packed with tempting vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, making it tough to choose. I finally settled on the garlic naan, vegetable korma, and chicken kabobs--and every bite was outstanding. The naan was perfectly fresh, the korma was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and the chicken kabobs were tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. This easily ranks among my top five Indian restaurants in the Denver area. Even my Indian mother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed the meal, which is high praise. That said, she still holds the number one spot as the best Indian cook in my book! If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine near DIA, Coriander is absolutely worth the stop. I'll definitely be back.
