Service was super quick and friendly. We came for Sunday breakfast around 8:30 am and it was still quiet. This made it easy to get coffee refills at the coffee bar - I really loved the Kona hazelnut variety and went back a couple times to refill. I had the combo and my hubby got the pancakes with eggs/bacon. Food was hot and tasty. Great experience! This location is big, bright, and clean. They have a big menu with both breakfast/brunch and lunch items. We had a large party over the weekend so we expected the food to come out really slow but it was nicely paced. Came on a cold and foggy morning around 9:30 am on a Saturday before the rush. I turned around when we left and it was completely packed. I've never been here before and it's really close to my home. That is dangerous because this place is good. We were out on the patio which was open and with heat lamps. It was really nice on a cold day with those heat lamps. Corbyn was fantastic and sweet. Very helpful help with giving suggestions on our order. I ordered the lobster omelette which was very flavorful with a side of corn beef hash. I really like the corn beef hash. On occasion, I'll grab lunch, and I've never been disappointed. The staff at this location are impeccable. Truly wonderful. The service alone keeps me coming back. As a breakfast lover, I will always recommend anything on the breakfast menu -- but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here. Stopped here for a quick bite to go...was expecting more of a counter type place, it's a full sit-down restaurant. Try nice inside. Hostess was very nice. I got the chicken quesadilla to go. It was about $18 so I was a little worried...turns out, huge! Stuffed with chicken...like, enough chicken that you can't actually eat it like a quesadilla. Excellent quality, portion size and flavors!!!!! Came with a side of chips that were unbelievably good. They are dusted with something that's like Tajin...very very crispy/crunchy. We have been coming here for years but the service has really gone down hill the past 6 months. Today we came in for breakfast 7/12/26. The wait was 20 minutes (no big deal). We were taken to a table outside in the side corner. We sat there for 20 minutes and did not get served. About 10 minutes the busser brought waters. The cups were dirty. We did tell the hostess we had not been helped yet and she said she would get the server. About 10 minuted later no one had been to our table still to take an order or even say hello to greet us. We finally got up to leave. Mind you at least 3 servers passed our table and went to other tables. I used to serve so I understand it gets busy and am more patient but 20 minutes is a ridiculous time to wait with no one coming to the table. The last time we came in a few months ago, the server kept forgetting things my mom ordered. The food is good which is why we come back, but the service is not there. read more

We've been fans of the original Swami's in Encinitas for over two decades and decided to try our local Swami's for a Friday brunch today. We had both the breakfast and lunch menus to choose our food. Both of us selected breakfast items: Huevos Rancheros (5/5) -- One of the best Huevos Rancheros I've had in recent years. Black beans were much welcomed rather than refried beans. The Ranchero sauce was tasty with a good level of heat. $14.50 Stuffed French Toast (5/5) -- Delicious thick French Toast filled with cream cheese and berries, garnished with fresh berries, and topped with a berry sauce. $15.75 There's a self-service coffee bar with four flavors of regular coffee and a Columbian Decaf. Mugs are at the coffee bar. The coffee was good (4/5 $3.95) with free refills. I tried both the Kona coffee (3/5) and Mexican blend (4/5). Our server, Emmanuel, was very good. We sat at a table on the outdoor patio, which was nice. Inside seating options are booths, tables, and a communal bar. Decor is simple light wood. read more

This place should have more stars, not sure why it only has 3. Been here a couple of times and I've enjoyed it, the Belgium waffle anything is good there, the breakfast plates are always big and so we share it, and get a little something for the sweet tooth. They have a coffee station so you can do your own refills, which I appreciate because I drink a lot of coffee, and I don't have to wait for a waiter to fill me up. The plates large portions make the prices worth it, when you get your plate it's always aesthetically pleasing and that is a major plus for us because it looking pretty makes me want it to eat even more. The place is cute inside and staff is always friendly the extra plus is that it's a next to a target and sprouts so I run my errands at the same time. There is plenty of parking and you can have larger parties meet here, so I will keep coming here. read more
