Brown sugar honey latte was delicious. My son ordered the single red velvet pancake and was more happy!! Service was friendly and quick.

One of the best spots for breakfast or brunch! The menu has plenty of options, including gluten-free and vegetarian choices! The food quality has always been amazing, and the portions are very generous! The atmosphere is also really welcoming and easygoing, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal! Our waiter, Emmanuel, was incredibly attentive & helpful; making sure everything came out perfectly. His service really made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back!

Great experience! This location is big, bright, and clean. They have a big menu with both breakfast/brunch and lunch items. We had a large party over the weekend so we expected the food to come out really slow but it was nicely paced. The only hiccup was that the pancakes took much longer to come out compared to everything else. The food was great and the portion sizes were huge. We had enough for leftovers. Will definitely be back!

The service was the best so grateful for our server Nayeli! She was so attentive and helpful and very efficient! The food was really delicious we loved the house salad and we are planning on coming back to try more dishes here! It was really chilly inside but it's possible because we were under a vent. The music wasn't too loud, and the space didn't feel crowded at all.

We stopped by to celebrate Father's Day and this place did not disappoint. We were seated relatively quickly considering the busy holiday and the service was impeccable! I can't say enough great things about Karelly!! She was patient, attentive and had an answer for every question we had about the menu! She made the experience even better with her great customer service! The food was also amazing, we tried everything from chilaquiles to the açaí and pitaya bowl and everything was absolutely flavorful and delicious! We would definitely come back!

Came on a cold and foggy morning around 9:30 am on a Saturday before the rush. I turned around when we left and it was completely packed. I've never been here before and it's really close to my home. That is dangerous because this place is good. We were out on the patio which was open and with heat lamps. It was really nice on a cold day with those heat lamps. Corbyn was fantastic and sweet. Very helpful help with giving suggestions on our order. I ordered the lobster omelette which was very flavorful with a side of corn beef hash. I really like the corn beef hash. My friend ordered the potato burrito with bacon inside and my other friend ordered the Huevos Rancheros.

Always great food but I didn't realize they have really good specialty coffee drinks. I got the brown sugar honey latte and my daughter got the iced Horchata latte and both were amazing! Love this place!

I've lived in several different areas over the years -- Oceanside, spent a lot of time in Encinitas, and now I've been in the 4S Ranch area for a few years. Before moving here, I was only willing to go to the OG Encinitas location. The other locations I had tried just never impressed me. One day I finally decided to give it a chance, and I am so glad I did. Depending on the time of year and how busy life is, this place has become a weekly staple for me. I usually go for breakfast. On occasion, I'll grab lunch, and I've never been disappointed. The staff at this location are impeccable. Truly wonderful. The service alone keeps me coming back. As a breakfast lover, I will always recommend anything on the breakfast menu -- but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here. This visit I tried one of their seasonal drinks, the Brown Sugar Honey Latte (no whip, no caramel, with a dash of cinnamon), and of course, my favorite, the California Scrambler with homestyle potatoes and sourdough toast. You won't be disappointed.

My visit to Obrien's Boulangerie Bakery was exactly that. I want to give a special shoutout to Café Miguel, the bartender, who is developing some truly delicious drinks that pair beautifully with the equally delicious food. You can tell he takes pride in what he creates, and it makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Brenda, the manager of all managers, deserves a tremendous amount of praise. She makes it her mission to ensure every customer is taken care of, and you can genuinely feel that she cares. Her attention to people and her commitment to making sure everyone has a great experience really stood out to me. And Javon and Isaiah, both amazing servers, were fantastic. The entire waitstaff carries with them a sense of duty to the customer that I honestly haven't seen in a long time. I may have missed a few names, but I want to make it clear that every single person who helped me made me feel special and valued. What touched me most was something so simple: being looked in the face and spoken to like a human being. In a world where that can sometimes feel surprisingly rare, it was incredibly refreshing. I am genuinely grateful for the kindness, warmth, and care shown to me by the entire team. And yes... the food was delicious too!! Thank you to everyone at Obrien's Boulangerie Bakery for reminding me what exceptional hospitality looks and feels like. You made my experience memorable, and I appreciate every one of you.

After my friend shared this with me, I was determined to support this business because I couldn't believe people would do that to a business for simply thanking a young man for all that he did during his 31 years on Earth. Despite Invita being far from where I live, I've been blessed to visit their Rancho Santa Fe location on two occasions and both times, I was served delicious coffee and received outstanding customer service. I'm giving Invita 4.5 stars because on my second visit, I ordered a featured coffee, but decided to change it up because it wasn't too flavorful. There are two Invita Cafe locations in San Diego with their Rancho Santa Fe spot and their other location in Carlsbad. As I indicated above, my first visit was the Saturday after word got out that people were disparaging the business and it was jam packed with customers out the door. The Rancho Santa Fe cafe is one of several businesses in Cielo Village. This village can be reached utilizing Del Dios Highway, which is a scenic route surrounded by a lake, mountains, and foliage. There is plenty of parking at this small outdoor strip mall. Invita Cafe is across from Beyond Pilates and Q1 Real Estate. Nuevo is also located here and Invita is next to Goli Pizza Eatery. The coffee shop has brick on the outside and there are outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee and food. After being in the long line that first Saturday, I finally got to see the inside and the color scheme is black and white. There are accent pics, decorative lighting, and a corner where there's merchandise you can purchase. It's a small space with counter/stool seating. The employees behind the register were diligent handling the crowd seamlessly and they provided friendly customer service. The two times I visited Invita Cafe Rancho Santa Fe were on Saturday. The first time customers were lined out of their door and the second time, I visited at 7:30am, which was 30 minutes after they opened. Both visits, I ordered coffee, but besides coffee, Invita's menu consists of tea, wellness drinks, breakfast items, salad, flatbreads, toast, and sandwiches. When I return, I'll make sure to try their food, but on my two visits, I had to try their coffee since Invita is a coffee shop. During my first visit, I ordered a white mocha with two pumps of hazelnut. After my first sip, I could tell Invita uses quality coffee beans because the coffee was tasty, the hazelnut made it flavorful, it was rich, and it seriously was an enjoyable cup of Joe. During my second visit, I tried one of their featured coffees that was displayed on their counter, but after taking a few sips, I informed the young lady who made it that it wasn't flavorful. I asked her for a white mocha with two pumps of hazelnut, but this time, a young man remade it and it was as delicious as my drink when I first visited Invita. During each of my visits, the staff placed a "Thank You Charlie Kirk" sticker on my coffee cups and I really appreciated Invita's gratitude to the founder of Turning Point USA. Invita Cafe is definitely out of the way from where I live, but I'll make the sacrifice to support a business who recognizes the impact Charlie Kirk had on Americans and the youth of America. Besides the nice sentiment of appreciation for Charlie, I'll return to Invita because they serve really satisfying coffee.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Exceptional place for a special occasion high tea…read more I came here with three girlfriends for a birthday celebration around last Christmas and we had a blast! One of my friends who lives in the area had been here before and had suggested it for the outing. Located in an almost hidden little shopping center in the middle of a suburban neighborhood, it had gorgeous decor, especially all decked out for the holidays. We were seated at one of the outdoor patio tables, which was very pleasant on a beautiful warm day. We all had their special Christmas high tea, which came with a generous array of food that went above and beyond a normal tea service. There was a starter soup course (roasted winter vegetable soup, very delicious), then we got a massive tower with 5 different savory items, scones, and 6 different desserts. Needlessly to say, we were beyond stuffed by the end, even after opting to take most of the desserts to go. The tea selection was very nice as well--I just opted for the English Breakfast, in keeping with my preference for picking the most coffee-like tea. Our server did an amazing job, even though it seemed like she was the only one serving the entire packed place! My friends and I had a wonderful time, and I'd love to come back again.

Beautiful café, but unfortunately a very disappointing customer service experience…read more When I first walked into Hinar Café, I was genuinely impressed. The café is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food looked decent. I was actually excited to try everything. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by our interaction with one employee, Angelika. There were only a few pastries left, so I politely asked if there were any more in the back or if additional pastries were being baked. Her response was simply, "No," but it was the dismissive and condescending tone that stood out. Throughout our interaction, her responses felt short, cold, and passive-aggressive. When our order was ready, she placed the plate on our table without saying anything and walked away. She later came back to collect the table number and again didn't say a word. I understand these may sound like small things, but basic hospitality goes a long way--something as simple as "Enjoy" or "Have a great meal" makes customers feel welcomed. This was especially disappointing because Hinar is a Kurdish café, and I was genuinely looking forward to experiencing the warmth and hospitality that Middle Eastern culture is known for. Unfortunately, our interaction felt like the complete opposite. Thankfully, another employee, Yama, was completely different. When we shared our concerns with him, he was respectful, professional, and genuinely kind. He handled the situation exactly the way you would hope someone representing a business would. Yama was a great reflection of what the customer experience should be. My wife also mentioned that she had experienced a similar situation with Angelika during a previous visit. Her friend had asked whether the matcha foam could be mixed into the drink. Angelika immediately said they couldn't do it. When they explained that another employee had done it for them previously, she responded that he wasn't supposed to. They then asked Yama, and he happily said, "Sure, no problem," and accommodated them. That kind of inconsistency is frustrating as a customer. Unfortunately, things got even more uncomfortable during our visit. While my wife and I were sitting down enjoying our drinks and cheesecake, we noticed Angelika repeatedly staring at us. At one point, she motioned for me to come over with a "come here" hand gesture without saying anything. I found that extremely disrespectful and uncomfortable. As a paying customer, I shouldn't feel like I'm being summoned or treated as though I've done something wrong. I approached her calmly and asked if there was an issue. I explained that I felt her customer service throughout our visit had been poor and unprofessional. Her response was, "I'm just giving you the same energy you were giving me." That honestly surprised me because I don't believe I had been rude or disrespectful to her at any point. I asked a couple of simple questions and expected the same basic courtesy that any customer should receive. I've worked in customer service and sales for years, so I understand that dealing with the public isn't always easy. At the same time, I know how much customer service matters. Employees are the face of a business, and unfortunately, one negative interaction can completely change someone's impression of an otherwise beautiful establishment. The café itself has a lot going for it--the space is beautiful, the food was decent enough, and Yama was excellent. But based on our experience, I think management should seriously address the way customers are being treated by certain staff members. I hope this review is taken constructively because I would genuinely like to see Hinar Café succeed. It's a beautiful place with a lot of potential, and with the right customer service, it could leave people with a completely different and much more positive impression.
