4 donuts left of the half dozen

Wow, all of their locations are pretty damn good. Stopped here to get a croissant breakfast sandwich but the line was backed up and I only had 15 min to spare before my doctor's appt check in time. Ended up grabbing just a 1/2 dozen: 2 mini cinnamon rolls, 2 glazed, 1 maple bar, and a Boston cream. All were FANTASTIC & this is now my 3rd fave donut shop. My faves in order: 1. Rose Donuts-Morena District off of 8 & 5 Frwys 2. Peterson's Donuts-Escondido (CRONUTS Fave) 3. Donut Touch-any location 4. Golden Donuts-On Euclid & Federal 5. Still looking to fill this slot

I see delicious donuts in your future.

My mother in-law loves the jelly donuts here and we appreciate how kind the owner is to her, bringing her order to her car because she has knee problems.

You got the touch, you got the power, yeah! 4S ranch residents expect their donuts to be of the gourmet variety and they're willing to shell out 3 bucks each for the boasting privilidge. So it's a little surprising that a cheap place like this was allowed to lease a location here. That being said, for a "strip mall donut shop" these were excellent. Even their raised donuts tasted good. Service was also patient and friendly. Donut Profile - Buttermilk Bar A gilded brick of buttermilk dough with a heavy load of glaze on top. One of my favorites from any donut shop and Donut Touch did a good job with theirs. Not too crunchy, this made for easy eating and sharing. - They also sell bagels and croissants. - Closes at 3PM, there were still plenty of donuts left.

Great service by Aadan!…read more Came with a small kid who he offered some Sidecar stickers to. I know that's not a thing to hand these labels out but every kid loves stickers! I was also debating the size of chocolate milk for my kid and ordered small and got confirmation from Aadan that small would be the ideal choice for kids. Excellent iced Banana Bread Latte. Couldn't detect any banana bread flavor to it but as someone who does not like standard "plain" lattes, it was good coffee! Kid inhaled a Vanilla Bean Glazed and I had the Blueberry Cheesecake doughnut (both yeast doughnuts) for lunch (yes for lunch!) and I usually do not like eating more than a quarter of a doughnut even as dessert. I was hesitant to get the Blueberry Cheesecake because I saw the giant blob of cream on top but it was more like whip cream than actual cheesecake and sweet enough to compliment a doughnut without being heavy and overly sweet like actual cheesecake. I also like the dollop of blueberry preserves on top. The yeast doughnut was plump airy goodness. We didn't need it, but I appreciate that this shop always has free cold water available for guests. This is one of my few Treat Yourself places.

SIDECAR DOUGHNUTS AND COFFEE @ DEL MAR…read more Parking is available right out front, and the location is in a main plaza with lots of things to do nearby. If you walk past The Melt, which is right down the street from Sidecar, there are plenty of shopping options, grocery stores, and other places to explore. I've always been around this plaza and have wanted to try Sidecar, but unfortunately my experience wasn't the best. The staff wasn't the friendliest, and I felt like you had to know exactly what you wanted right away. It was also a little confusing figuring out where the line started because there were so many people gathered around the donut display, and there wasn't really a clear line. They do have samples available, but it's somewhat hidden on the far left side near the kitchen counter. I'm not sure why they don't have it more visible for guests, but I was able to try their blueberry donut, which I thought was really good. The texture was amazing and the donut itself was super soft, but I did feel like it was a little too sweet with the amount of sugar and icing. Overall, I think the donuts are good, but I'm not sure I would come back. At around $5 to $6 per donut, it's definitely on the pricier side. It's a nice treat if you're already in the area and want to stop by, but I would hope that my next experience would be better with the staff and that the layout of the shop would feel a little more organized.

There is no customer service as everything you order is through the kiosk, which is fine. The drinks come out quick which is a plus. I did pay extra for the cute surprise toy. FOR THE WIN!!! (4.75 stars)…read more I love donuts. And I tend to stick to basic classical donuts. And therefore I am late to the trend with the mochi donuts! This location is inside Bober Tea and Coffee. There is a glass casing with several flavors to choose from and they sell at $3 a piece. The one that stood out to me was the chocolate with sprinkles. Upon receiving it in a paper pocket bag, the icing was rubbing off on the bag. That immediately told me this is super fresh! I could already feel the softness of the donut. The little sectioned off ball looking segments of the donut are also a game changer when it comes to eating - easier to eat without making a mess! The texture was bouncy, soft, lightly chewy and a little stretchy... the texture was fun and I found myself wanting another afterwards. I do wish they had offer other flavors that don't sounds too sweet because the other flavors didn't really catch me. Until the next review...

Our favorites we'd recommend is the coconut cream pie and the strawberry shortcake. The bacon maple still had an amazing texture and we loved how fluffy and satisfying the dough is made but I wasn't a fan of the bacon fat taste with the maple even though I usually like a sweet+savory combo. She was helping someone else but quickly wrapped up to take my order. The space was clean with plenty of seating. It was so hard to decide so I grabbed a few to share: Maple Bacon, Coconut Cream, Lemon and Horchata. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them and appreciated that they were not overly nor greasy. The fluffiness reminded me more of a beignet and brioche. Will be back to try more flavors! 5/13- We returned for more. These were made to order and topping to dough ratio was too much. Maybe they were being generous, but they were overly sweet today. Bourbon Caramel, Strawberry Shortcake, Lemon, Blueberry Hill, Mango Margarita and Turtle Cheesecake.
