The only grip I have specifically with this location.....is that it is waaayyy too cluttered-- overstocked with just stuff everywhere! And, let's talk about organization to make things easy to find....forget it. It sort of reminds me of a " sub high-end" Thrift store. If you parked on the street nearby this store location, you better load up your parking meter to the max.... Because you're going to need the time to roam around this place. Not to mention, there is no parking lot or garage..... so you don't want your parking meter to expire because we all know parking tickets in DC is like paying rent or the amount of a one night hotel stay. lol Other than this, not a bad shopping experience here. There's something here for everyone when it come to looking for bargain clothing that's from designer labels and on trend. Also, one big plus about this Nordstrom Rack location is that they carry one of the largest selection of men's business wear and casual clothing. This location carries tons of business suits, dress shirts, ties and business casual slacks-pants. I think the reason for this is because this location is centrally located in the downtown DC area that is primarily surrounded by law offices, lobby firms, Big 6 consulting and federal government agencies. You often don't find this at a lot of Nordstrom Rack and bargain clothing, places like Marshall's/TJMaxx around the DMV. Heck...Most of these type of places tend to cater more to women, where women clothing occupy like over 50%% of the store and the men's section is left to about a shoebox size of mixed up clothing. And, don't even bother to ask if there is a men's shoe section. Most tend not to have one. At least if anything, this is not the case at this Nordstrom Rack. There are tons of men's athletic shoes, casual sneakers, great running shoes and dress shoes. In all, you can't go wrong shopping here. Lots of good finds and decent customer service. Just have a little patience and time to roam around this treasure trove!

I have never had to take these pieces to a tailor to repair a hem or seam that came apart due to quality issues. This store was wonderful. I usually buy pieces online but it was a treat to come in and try on so many pieces in person. Ebony was a delight to work with and she was very knowledgeable about the pieces, the different options, and how to dress items up or down. I lucked out and found a pair of Prada Monolith loafers that are still available in-store at full price -- except mine were half the cost and looked like they'd maybe been worn once. Maybe. Such a good score, plus I got to support a small business, which always feels better than buying direct from some corporate mega-retailer. It only gets better! One of the employees (Krista) noticed that there was a small fix that needed to be done on the shoulder. Before I could even blink she had a seamstress in from a local shop, who came and got the dress to repair on their dime. I honestly didn't notice the issue until Krista pointed it out, she's got an eagle eye. Krista was amazing at coordinating the dress pickup a few days later. I couldn't get out of calls from work so she got the dress delivered to me! I cannot get over how amazing they are, and will ALWAYS recommend Ella Rue. Consider me a customer for life!
