Kindest staff ever! And super fast visit. I came in same-day (Friday afternoon) for an ankle x-ray and was seen immediately. The staff was super helpful when they took my call beforehand to explain how long the visit would take so I could plan my work schedule around it. The nurses, receptionists, and doctors are all phenomenally kind and patient. The Imaging team was super chatty & made the experience really enjoyable. I loved that the urgent care was in the same building as all of the other speciality providers, so they can all see you as part of the same appointment. Would definitely recommend! read more

I went to Swedish Redmond Urgent Care today because it was at the top of a short list of places that my doctor recommended for me to go to get the XRay and the blood tests that he wanted me to get done. The receptionist in imaging was very nice. The XRay technician, Sean, was personable, and he told me a few interesting tidbits about the XRay machine in addition to giving me the instructions as to how I needed to stand for the XRays to be taken. I was in and out of Imaging in about 10 minutes, and it was a pleasant and hassle-free experience. The lobby was nice too. Next, I was checked in to the Lab by Austin, who has a great sense of humor. He had me laughing so hard I told him that he should do stand up comedy! He told me that he actually does want to do stand up comedy, and that his friends have already come up with a possible name for his Netflix show if he ever gets one! I hope he does get a Netflix show, I would definitely watch it! His comic timing was spot on. I shot back some jokes and I made him laugh too, and he said I was hilarious. Austin tried drawing my blood, but he wasn't able to find a good vein at first. This happens a lot for blood draws for me. I do drink a lot of water, but my veins are not easy to find for most people who draw my blood. Austin decided to draw blood from my hand instead of my arm, which was a good call because he was able to locate a suitable vein in my hand for the second attempt at drawing my blood, and he started to get the blood draw going... but then the needle (it's a smaller needle that he used for the hand than the needle that he would have used for the arm) popped out of my hand before he could draw enough blood to do the tests, and my blood spurted all over my fingers, my hand, and my forearm. I can't stand to see blood (mine or anyone else's), and I look away even for a normal blood draw, so I was mildly horrified when I saw the blood all over my fingers, my hand, and my forearm. Austin apologized for this. I accepted his apology. I feel like it could have happened to anyone. Austin called Daryl over to try to do the third attempt at my blood draw. Daryl was also unable to find a suitable vein. Daryl had a great sense of humor, too, and he ribbed Austin playfully and made both Austin and I laugh. Daryl also complimented my jade rings that I wear every day on my left hand now, and Daryl happened to be wearing a jade ring as well! I shared with Daryl that my new nickname this year is Jade. Daryl inserted the needle into my arm, but he was unable to get any blood from the place that he inserted the needle. Austin told me that they weren't going to try more than 3 times today. He said that they can usually get enough blood on the first try, and occasionally they need a second try, but the third try was the final try for today and they would not try more than 3 times in one sitting. It has frequently taken people 2 tries to draw my blood in the past, but I've never needed a third attempt until today, and I've never had an overall unsuccessful blood draw until today, either. Austin and Daryl were so kind to me, though. Both guys were upfront about my veins being hard to find, but I never felt blamed or shamed in any way. Austin kept telling me that I was doing "outstanding" even though I was growing a bit nervous and worried after the two unsuccessful blood draws and was fervently hoping that the guys would be able to successfully draw enough blood from me the third time, for the tests that need to be done. Both guys had used several techniques to try to get my blood flowing more to my arms and hands, including having me clench and unclench my fists, using the tourniquet, and even using a hot compress on the areas that they wanted to draw blood from. Unfortunately none of these techniques ended up being very effective. I really feel like both guys did everything that they could to try to get the blood that they needed, and it wasn't totally their fault that they weren't able to get it. My veins are hard to work with. I'm kind of bummed that I still need to get my blood drawn again another day soon, though. I thought I'd be good to go after today. Austin painstakingly cleaned off all of the blood from my fingers, hand, and forearm after the second needle had popped out of my hand and my blood had spurted all over those areas. He used several packets of alcohol wipes to do this, and he was very thorough and he got every last drop of splattered blood off of me. Then he carefully bandaged my hand. Although I'm bummed that I still need to get my blood drawn again, overall I felt very cared for by every staff member at Swedish Redmond Urgent Care that I interacted with today, and interacting with each and every one of them was a very good experience for me. Also, I don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a hospital before in my entire life. I wish Austin all the best if he does make it as a stand up comedian. He would rock it! read more

I came there with symptoms that looked like heart problems - chest pain and shortness of breath. Facility is clean. Everyone is very welcoming. The wait time is very short. Doctor was attentive, confirmed this is could be a heart attack, and said they don't have an EKG machine there, so they can't say anything for certain. Think for a second. An ambulance in a 3rd world country has an EKG machine in it. Urgent care facility at Swedish doesn't. So the doctor grabbed my hand, brought me to their ER department downstairs - who actually have an EKG. Since then, for the next 10 months, I'm receiving a bill after bill. There are around 4 or 5 so far, amassing for over $3K total. read more

I am an immigrant from a war torn country. I have a myriad of health issues from PTSD, to high blood pressure to anxiety. My primary doctor knows that. Despite that fact, she always refused to help me avoid the "mask" harassment. When I asked her to write me an exemption, she refused because she was afraid she would lose her job. She will gladly give me anxiety chemicals and high blood pressure chemicals, but god forbids she feels compassionate and help me make my life easy so hospitals stop harassing me and exacerbating my anxiety. BEGIN: On April 16th, I arrived at Swedish Urgent Care in Washington upon opening, a facility I have frequented for years (since 2012, ..., 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), after sustaining a rib injury the previous night. At reception, Maria insisted that I wear a mask, despite my explanation of my medical condition preventing me from wearing masks and my current difficulty in breathing due to my rib injury. My rib could have been fractured for all I know, I had difficulty breath. I emphasized my fall, stabbing chest pain, and breathing difficulties. I presented my face shield, which I had previously used without issue during visits to this facility (I visited urgent care at this same location many times, records are there to show, always with a face shield, no one ever harassed me). Initially, Maria allowed me to enter the waiting room, where I anticipated a doctor's screening. However, she returned with another staff member, again demanding I wear a mask, despite my prior explanations regarding my injury and inability to wear a mask. Feeling frustrated and in pain, I raised my voice in desperation, questioning the basis of their policy. Subsequently, Maria and her colleague brought Shawn, who aggressively insisted I leave the facility, exacerbating my anxiety and distress. Ignoring my impaired breathing and balance, Shawn followed me closely and tried to accompany me in the elevator, prompting me to request that he stop due to my growing discomfort. Leaving Swedish Urgent Care without receiving the necessary medical attention. I could barely drive myself with the pain and harassement I received, I visited Evergreen Urgent Care, where the staff compassionately attended to me without pressuring me to wear a mask. The actions of Maria and Shawn at Swedish Urgent Care disregarded my medical condition, harassed me about mask-wearing, and ultimately forced me to leave the facility without care. Given my history at this facility, their treatment raises concerns about the legality of their actions and my rights in this situation. Providence / their staff care more about policy than actual health and compassion of their long term patients. What's funny is that when I shared my story with Evergreen staff, they could not help but talk negatively about Providence/Swedish and how they can relate. read more

Friend came in with a URI and they did not even test for covid! They are immunocompromised person who should have been tested! Very negligent on their part regarding my friend's health! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED HELP. people were nice but if they can't give people proper medical care and testing then they should not be OPEN. read more

Terrible experience at the urgent care center I had a pain in my side and abdominal pain I called the night before to see if they had imaging capabilities and the receptionist said they did down the hallway. They took my temperature and blood pressure and touched my abdominal area in 6 different areas and that was it. She was walking out the door so I asked what about imaging and she replied that they don't have anything. So I asked what was her prognosis on me and she said she could not give me one without imaging So it was basically a waste of time for me, I was hoping they would at least have a doctor or someone more qualified to speak to. read more

My daughter (6) got a deep laceration on her chin and this was the closest ER to us, open on a Sunday evening. When I walked into and the registration nurse took our information quickly. We walked over to the vending machines and before I could take my wallet out, we were called back to triage. My daughter has a intense fear of doctors, and refused to go into the room with the nurse. When we got her in the room she hid in a corner, the doctor came in immediately and sat on the floor with her. Talked to her with honesty, told her what they plan on doing, asked if he could see her chin. She trusted him. She finally got up on the bed. All the nurses and the doctors were fabulous with treating my scared little girl. She received 4 stitches, we were in and out in about an hour. The staff was amazing, the were kind and patient and quick. We walked right into the ER and we're taken care of immediately. Thank you especially to Nurse Matthew and Dr. Bretz for helping mom, dad, and our girl stay calm and give her excellent care. Dr. Bretz even did a follow up call this morning to double check how my little one was feeling. Top Notch. read more

Needed a COVID test, called in to ask if there would be a charge. Was told, my insurance would pay for cost. I asked multiple t Ines if I would have any sort of charge and was told, no because my insurance would cover it. Then I got over $163 for office visit. This is such a joke because it literally took 5 minutes for them to swab my nose and send me on my way. What's the office visit??? What a Sam. Wrote to customer service and just got no answer and they went round and round. Will never ever go here again for anything. read more

Summary: The "Fast Casual Dining during an E. coli outbreak" of modern medicine Was there this morning before the doors opened with a sick child. It should have been a clue that "before the doors opened" was 2 minutes after they were supposed to open. What they were good at: Paperwork (even though we are already in the Swedish electronic medical records system. Instilling fear (our child only got more nervous as PAs and RMAs and clipboard-wielding clerical people, and even the Medical Director came and went). Billing (I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here, but I bet we get a bill.) Getting customers to vow: "Never again will I come here." Lots of parking. What they were bad at: Medicine. No MDs see patients here. Just PAs and RMAs. Bedside manner. Pediatrics (unless you think sugary condescension is good kid care). Explaining things. Instilling confidence. Putting patients and parents at ease. Field complaints and questions. Was having the Medical Director come in and basically ask rhetorically, I don't know what you problem is? a way of making us feel better about our decision to run away before they could finish "treating" our kid? Anyway, unless you are stuck in Redmond with no alternatives and have a lot of faith in big, impersonal, algorithm-driven medicine getting you the best care, there is no reason to visit this place. A footnote, I thought I would use the toilet before getting in the car. Bad idea: clogged with poo and toilet paper and no visible flush button and the electric eye was not detecting me. This review was a tough one to do. The building was very confusing. Quite obvious where the emergency door was but confused by where the Urgent care door was as it was pointing right. I drove to the right and saw nothing so decided to take the door to the right as the left door was Emergency. Got in but nobody was there to greet us. This might have been because we were there at 7;20pm just before they close at 8pm. Saw the elevator that has a list of other medical specialties and after about 7 list you get to the one just 3rd from the bottom that says Urgent Care. Took the elevator to the 2nd floor. Fast forward, we are ushered in the door and in comes the doctor and the nurse to check out my husband's sprained, swollen foot. As the nurse is taking my husband's vitals, the front desk person came in to take care of his insurance information. Doctor was super nice and explained possibilities and steps he will take to diagnose his concerns. Nurse was grouchy as can be. Both my husband and I looked at her as she seemed annoyed with us for coming in. She was abrupt with him. In the end we decided that the nurse is very caring but her approach was aweful!! Talk about bad bed side manners. She was worst than your mother scolding you like a 5 year old. Thank goodness my huband did not break anything but needed splints and crutches. Hopefully never have to come back but overall a good experience. read more

If you guessed $692.50 you are correct. Luckily we have insurance so we don't have to pay the full amount. This is outrageous. Parking was very easy to find outside the front door in their own lot. Urgent care was actually on the 2nd floor with other primary care physicians. Emergency department was on the 1st floor. I arrived shortly after they opened at 8 am and was seen right away without an appointment. I felt awful but all of the staff members were incredibly nice and caring. The check-in process was very easy as they let me do my registration forms while in the exam room. The waiting room was also clean and friendly. I appreciated the care of the staff and their speediness in helping me to feel better. They even gave me a single dose of some meds at the clinic until I could make it to pick up my antibiotics at the pharmacy. Should I need to use urgent care services again, I would choose to go back to this location. read more

My daughter cut her finger and this was the closest place to where we had been. The urgent care is upstairs. When we walked up, they immediately walked us to a room and had a nurse talk to us. Then the PA came in to chat. Again, felt it wasn't absolute emergency and told us we were a few down the line. Of course insurance people come now. And we did wait a little bit. But the PA was friendly, explained his reasons for no stitches. And gave us great instructions about what to watch for as it heals. I was impressed how quickly you get a quick assessment for treatment. Everyone was friendly. It was an easy process to get in/out. If we were ever in need of this service when in this area, we would return. read more

Since this place has no reviews yet and I hate it when places have no reviews, I'm gonna leave some love. Came here on a Wednesday morning for some sketchy abdominal symptoms when there were no lady doctors available at my primary care office (Swedish Greenlake, of which I am also a huge fan). I got in around 8:15 or so and was told that there were 4 people ahead of me, so I just set up shop in the exam room and started checking email. I can't have waited more than 20 minutes before the PA came in. She was super friendly, and kindly answered my paranoid questions about my mysterious body functions and also why she chose PA school over med school (I'm taking the med school plunge very soon, so I was trying to see if I could be convinced to back out and save myself while I could). I was out in about an hour and a half after waiting on a few rapid tests, which I think is probably pretty good for urgent care. I don't normally have a car and my doctor's office is usually pretty good at having openings at the last minute, so I don't anticipate going back anytime soon, but I had a good experience there and would definitely recommend it if you can't get into your doctor quickly! read more

I went here for a high fever and vomiting. They told me it was because I am pregnant but my fever is as high as 106 degrees which gives me cause for alarm. The staff was nice but not helpful as I am back home severely dehydrated and have an even higher fever. read more

We went there last night when my 4yr old daughter had sudden large scale swelling and itching of her hands and feet. They got us in ASAP and Chris the PA was great and spent lots of time trying to figure out what caused it. My daughter left feeling better with 3 new stickers as well! By far the best urgent care we've been to. Came in on a Friday afternoon with my daughter, was greeted by someone and was brought back into a room. I was told there may be a wait, that there were a few patients ahead of me. They got us registered, vitals taken, copay was paid and within 20 minutes We were seen by a medical provider . I've been to many urgent cares where I've waited an hour plus just to be brought back and then have to wait again. We were seen by a Physician Assistant (which is to be expected in urgent cares I've been to...since I just use urgent cares for simple stuff I can't get in to my regular doctor for) she examined my daughter gave us the diagnose and prescription and we were on our way! I like that that it was quick and effiecent-- I don't go to urgent cares to spend my time there but need a quick fix so my expectation were met here. Positives: easy check in, friendly people, clean office Improve: maybe some reading material in the room? We will use them again.. Thumbs up read more

OMG that place is useless!!! Went in cause of bronchitis and they wanted me to go to the Emergency Room! Cause I could not take a deep breath! No blood pressure taken No pulse taken , didn't bother to ask a single question IF they had I would have told to CHECK my chart..... My heart tested perfect less than 8 days ago! Twice they have done this to me! Great way to put 20k or more into there pockets! And put me in debt for the non covered portion! By the way went down the road to the other walk in clinic yes I have bronchitis and a sore throat! Swedish Urgent Care is horrid. read more

Ambulance drivers talked us into having the ambulance take me to Swedish which I regretted later. They were very slow and they did a lot of tests that they said were required to figure out what happened but seemed fairly random. They never checked my head by touching it and they never screened me for a concussion although we said that I passed out and ended up on the floor. The ambulance team had checked me for that but we never heard them talk to the ambulance drivers in detail. The doctor didn't spend much time with us, she seemed to already know what she was sure had happened so she wasn't very interested. We finally refused the final tests and left after 3 hours. Just received my $3000 bill of which insurance rate only took about $1400 off it and I'm expecting that I will get more bills. Hope this never happens again but if so, I've told my family pass Swedish urgent care in Redmond and take me to Overlake. read more
