$3.75 for a 12 oz drip coffee out of an air pod? Kind of outrageous. The coffee was good, but not that good.

I tried this place based on the reviews. When travelling to different cities, I like to try local coffee shops instead of the franchises because you can normally find much better coffee. This place is not it. I'm giving 2 stars out of generosity. The reviews are misleading and seem to be more concerned about being part of the coffee snob clique. I could easily be part of that clique...I have pretty much everything - pour over setup; french press (large, small, travel size); espresso makers (large and small); if I get a low quality batch of beans, I'll try reroasting them before throwing them out... So I get the snobbishness. This place is not worth it. The coffee is not balanced. I normally like cream and sugar in my coffee; however, when trying coffee from a new place, I try it black first to understand the flavor and see if it's truly balanced. This place has not figured out the water to ground ratio to achieve a truly balanced cup. They've invested more money in trying to have an upscale atmosphere and delivered a mediocre product. Also, with location being everything in business, they've wasted money in research because the other location is very difficult to visit and has no parking. That would be understandable if they provided drive thru service, but that's not even available. read more

Wow what's up Broomfield!?!?! I'm from the Northwest; Washington State, Oregon I have traveled a bunch ( grateful and lucky) and lived in a few other states California and Missouri. I have had the hardest time finding good coffee here I know there are some good roasters in Denver and stumbled upon a few places serving them. Huck and Pablo. I love Fort Collins and found Bindle Coffee and Harbinger both 10 star and I drive my daughter there to "get coffee" and let her play at the Silo Park...a real treat. Bindle was the one who told me about Sweetbloom coffee in Westminster. I checked them out and it is good. Not quite as perfect as Bindle coffee and Harbinger but still quality...not looking for a sugary amp but a soulful rich satisfying delight. For me something g is missing in the atmosphere but the coffee is good way above Starbucks and Caribou. They also sell green Chile bacon croissants. So good. Anyway, guess I am grateful no local coffee shop ( I don't count Ziggie's, Starbucks or Caribou ) I stick to my organic pour over with my milk frother...saves me a lot of money for those places not worth it...quality coffee worth the price...Sweetbloom I has it. read more

One of the things I enjoy most about visiting the Denver area is all the wonderful craft coffee shops that make their home in this area. Today I had the pleasure of discovering the Two Rivers Colorado Coffee Co. In addition to great coffee, they have a selection of baked goods, both sweet and savory, to choose from. Their WiFi is unsecure, so be careful to use secure access to your email or other sites. The WiFi was FAST when I visited. It benchmarked at 56M download speed using Ookla Speedtest. That's about the best WiFi I've ever found in a coffee shop. My cappuccino was perfect! Aesthetically, it looked very pleasing, being served in an cup appropriate for a double shot cappuccino, with nice art work poured onto the crema. The temperature was just right. My barista obviously knew what he was doing. An artiste! The flavor was excellent. All the staff were friendly and attentive. I felt welcome here both by the general atmosphere, and the pleasantness of the people who work here. My rating of five stars is not at all overinflated! I would make this my regular place if I lived even remotely close to here. read more

Sweet Bloom gets 3 stars because they do have balanced, rich coffee but in the smallest cup imaginable. 12 ounces. $3.50. This isn't Paris. I'm not in the hustle and bustle of the Champs Elysee. I've been a fan of Two Rivers for a couple of years now. The boyish charm of Eric still makes me blush and the fact he remembers not only my daughter's order but also her name is a rare gift in this busy world. Staff aside, the coffee is divine! Rich, fresh beans make my non-coffee knowing brain jump for joy. Even without being an aficionado, I can deeply appreciate the flavorful roasts. There can someti8mes be a bit of a wait for your order but it simply assures your beans are freshly ground and pressed for ya. To support local... and LIKE local... is a blessing. Where to start? This coffee shop is the coffee center of Arvada seemingly by default. It is also one of the most wildly inconsistent coffee shops in Colorado. The first time I went here was years ago and I enjoyed their vanilla latte. Very good product. Now I come around whenever I'm in the area and it is hit or miss every single time. A few of their coffees have had a strange and almost undrinkable taste to them while some provide a niceness that rivals the best roasters in Denver. Their pastries are pretty good. They're one of the few coffee shops I've been to that actually offer a coffee cake. It goes over very nicely with their coffee. I think they are, unquestionably, the best coffee shop in Arvada, but that's due to a lack of competition. That being said, I think most of the time they're worth the visit. read more

It's a Colorado local roastery that's has really good full bodied coffee. They don't have the options of Starbucks; regular, almond, soy and coconuts available and about half the fraction of syrup flavors. If you're a true coffee snob you'll like this place. Decided to go to Two Rivers for a work meeting. The mocha was delicious and beautiful but the breakfast burrito was a bit salty and strange tasting. We all wished the shop had more space for larger groups. There was only one big table in the back, unfortunately. The wifi was spotty and cut out- so save your work often! I will definitely give it a second chance, though. I enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere. It just felt a bit tight for the large number of people. Update: I unfortunately have to bump my rating down a star. They are not open on Sundays. I just discovered this when I drove there to do some grading this morning. I am disappointed. Sunday is the prime coffee shop day for me. Choosing not to be open really confuses me. read more

Stopped in for coffee after visiting the Westminster Dog Park. There is a huge coffee bar upon entering the shop, with all the lovely pastries displayed to the right. It's a lot bigger than it appears and there is also a spacious patio to the left. Their coffee selection is unique and the pastries are delicious. this was my first time trying coffee out of one of those newfangled clover machines and i gotta say I was surprised at how good it tasted. The coffee was still bright with some real nice subtle nut flavors. I don't know if it would have tasted radically different if it was shipped and brewed normally but I was pretty pleased with the result. nice folks too, i really like the cups they serve in. they're kind of offset and really envelope the smells around your nose. read more

Many very good to excellent latte's abound in Denver but this was pinnacle-experience-latte. I'm not in this area of town often but when I am this place is on my radar. A *lavender* short bread cookie is not something you see every day and a very nice touch. *No high chair, no booster seat. Said they didn't have room (they do in the seating area) but I get the feeling this decor and vibe appeals to the work/study here crowd than moms and baby crowd. What can I say? This is probably my favorite coffeeshop outside of downtown. Truly a hidden gem. It does get pretty busy during the morning hours. My friend and I came in at about 9am, luckily this location was on my fika passport. We got cortados which were amazing and served real quick! Then we also saw that they had their very own burritos. A choice between veggie or bacon ($5). Tbh I was a bit skeptical but I am so happy we decided to try their bacon burrito. The burritos were fresh and the ingredients were balanced and in good ratio/proportion to each other. I also love how they have multiple seating options, a bar stool option, community table, small tables and outdoor tables. read more

Nifty atmosphere, great staff, and excellent coffee. What more do you need to know? I came to Two Rivers because I needed to get away from my apartment to work on a term paper. I liked the look of the inside and thought this would be a great place to get some serious writing done. I decided to order a double-shot of espresso just to try out their flavoring. I was impressed with the quality of the coffee as well as the excellent presentation. The barista who helped me was also great. The people who work here seem passionate about coffee and put off a great vibe. As far as compatibility for studying goes, I would rate Two Rivers at a 8/10. They have plenty of table space, great free wifi, and a cool atmosphere. I wish the seating was a little more comfortable and that there were more tables to accommodate 3+ people. I was able to get a decent amount of writing done and would gladly come back to try some of their other offerings. Side Note: Two Rivers is connected to Great Harvest Bread Co. If you've never tried Great Harvest, I highly suggest stopping in on your visit to Two Rivers. They have an excellent assortment of delicious baked goods.
