Really decent breakfast. The young fella working solo was handling the whole floor with grace and humor ! The coffee was rich and I loved the little jars of cream instead of the disposable plastic creamer's most restaurants inexplicably favor . I also noticed they have a Full Bar available if it's ThaT sort of brunch (ie Bloody Mary& Mimosa time ) Most breakfast dishes were $15 plus , but that reflects the present economy I suppose.? The patio had a lovely view and some yard games for child distraction , which is better than fussy children, therefore , bravo . For desert I got an apple pastry which looked good , but truly was a bit "soggy " ? So a mixed yet mostly satisfying experience. read more

Please note!: Joe Mamas' has moved to "PALMER LAKE!!" The small lovely restaurant tried to stay in Wheat Ridge/Lakewood area, yet could not find the right place. If you are in Palmer Lake I highly recommend Joe Mammas, her food is rather "Homespun, with vegan - vegetarian - meat product with HUMUNGAS PORTIONS. While being delicious!! I had to insist on "PLEASE A VERY SMALL PORTION, I'M RATHER SMALL!" She would giggle and offer what she believed was a small portion to myself and Pretty Eyes. We all will miss Joe Mamas here in Wheat Ridge area! The small restaurant was delightfully decorated and comfy with wifi and a hidden gem of a patio. Robin, the owner, is phenomenal and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. Whether it's just the two of us stopping in for dinner or our pickleball club coming in as a group, we've always been treated like family. The staff is consistently friendly, the service is great, and the food is absolutely amazing. It's one of those places where you know you're going to have a great experience every time you walk through the door. New breakfast option in Palmer Lake has a great deck out back for outdoor dining. Indoors is quaintly decorated with plenty of seating. A long bar covers the main room's wall. Not much has changed since it used to be 105 Social House. I just tried the basic eggs and bacon this time around, and my husband had the pancakes, and both were pretty standard. About $14-16. Next time I'd like to try the breakfast pie since it's uniquely theirs. They had $5 Bloody Mary's and Mimosas, but we didn't partake. And I didn't try the coffee so can't report on that. We were first timers at Joe Mama's in Palmer Lake. The restaurant is so quaint and very clean. The back deck is beautiful and has plenty is space for a large gathering in nicer weather. They are renovating a larger space in the back of the restaurant for larger events in the future. Food: my husband ordered the breakfast pie and I ordered the chicken fried steak with potatoes minus the eggs. The plates come with homemade jam which is delicious. Hubby's meal came with green chile which I always try and I enjoyed it but would have like more spice (just my preference). I enjoyed everything except the cfs. It wasn't crispy and was a bit tough to chew. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I am definitely going to be back though because of the amazing staff and I want to try the other items on the menu. read more

Interesting spot! It was not what I expected from previous reviews and photos -- Joe Mama's is inside a dive bar. I was expecting to be greeted with a cute and quaint brunch-y interior, and instead walked into a dark bar filled with a smell of cigarettes. I felt a bit out of place sitting down to order breakfast when everybody else in the restaurant was at the bar having some beverages and watching sports. All that aside, the service was phenomenal and I enjoyed the breakfast pie. It tasted like it had just been heated up, but it was still tasty and a good quantity for the price. A very home-y feel. CAN I JUST SAY WOW!! My husband and I were visiting for AZ and were with a group and needed a quick bite to eat. When you first walk in, you're greeted with an at home feel that the town of Palmer Lake is known for. The space felt comfortable and there was ample indoor and outdoor seating! We stopped off here for brunch which was a hit! We ordered Bloody Mary's, Breakfast Pie, Sirloin, Breakfast Burritos - it was all great. Lucy, our server was the absolute best - she was so welcoming, made us feel at home & invited us to do karaoke later that night. We came back for karaoke and absolutely had the time of our lives. There was barely anyone else there which was a travesty because we had the absolute best time ever!! They have a back room for karaoke and decorated with holiday decor. Robin the owner is such a sweetheart and clearly has the biggest heart. Yes, it's in a dive bar called the Rambling Rose. Yes, there will be locals drinking at the bar at 9a on a Saturday. Don't let the exterior fool you...seriously. Go inside! We ordered a "cheese steak" and a patty melt. Received 2 cheese steaks. My cheese steak was NOT a Philly style as advertised. When my wife's patty melt finally arrived it was all Patty and no melt. This new restaurant is not ready for prime time. The old Villa building is still old, dirty and fly-ridden. The lunch and dinner menu is very sparse. It would well to have photos of the few menu items; there is plenty of space on it. This is a Hidden TREASURE!! Truly some of the best breakfast I've had in Denver. I grew up on a farm and this is downhome good food! The menu is so sophisticated and well executed. It's amazing, I've never had anything that was mid. The eggs come from the owners own chickens. She makes her own jams. It's located inside the Rambling Rose bar, which is a true dive, which I love. If you can't handle a bunch of good ol boys drinking at 10am or the smell of cigarettes this isn't the place for you. This is not a prissy Instagram worthy place for the yuppies. I love it. It's home. The dishes is all mismatched and feels like your at your Aunties. The regulars will yell across the bar at each other, cussing and carrying on. I'm always interested why a place can have such few reviews but have such high ratings. This place deserves the high ratings but way more attention!!! The average is 4.8 stars and if you're judging solely off the service and the food I still think 4.9 is too low. They recently moved from Colfax to wheat ridge attached to a divey bar. The woman who greeted us was a jack of all trades. She was not only our server but also the owner and also the sweetest person alive. She was the perfect pairing to our comfort food breakfast. I ordered the sweet potato maple pecan pancakes and the taste was amazing. Something about being able to physically see the pieces of sweet potato mashed into the pancake, sounds like a small Touch, but it went a long way in my book when a lot of places like to take shortcuts and use either a powdered or syrupy replacement. My wife's French toast was just as delicious. She said that this new location was only temporary but I could care less because I will follow this place to the end of the earth (assuming it has a Colorado Address) if I have to read more

Great food + super nice people! We were looking for a good brunch spot in an unfamiliar part of town and this restaurant kept popping up in my searches. Uncertain the type of restaurant and knowing 11:30am on Sunday is a popular brunch time, I decided to try to make reservations. Joe Mamas doesn't have a website but there was an option on Google to request a reservation using Google Assistant, which I'd never heard of. Even though it was nearly Saturday at midnight, Google Assistant promised to "call the restaurant" to confirm our reservation. I was skeptical. However, by 9-9:30 the next morning, I had an email that Google Assistant had, indeed, called Joe Mamas to confirm our reservation. I don't know what kind of witchcraft this is but I like it. While this part of town is pretty empty on Sunday mornings, we knew we were at the right place when we saw a full parking lot. We found a space and started to walk in but two nice gentlemen warned us we should move our car because the business to the east (where we parked) liked to tow. We thanked the men and moved to a space on the west side. Joe Mamas is currently sharing buildings with The Rambling Rose bar. The bar was pretty full with people already enjoying beer and a game of pool at 10:45am on Sunday, but we found a table and perused Joe Mamas menu. Personally I had a hard time deciding what to order because it all sounded amazing; items like Brown Sugar French Toast and Sweet Potato Pancakes were sooo tempting! The table next to us ordered the Breakfast Burrito, which looked amazing and was H U G E. Ultimately I decided on a dish that gave me a taste of several items - eggs cooked to order, bacon, country potatoes, fruit, and toast. My partner ordered the oatmeal with several add-on toppings, and my son ordered the Brown Sugar French Toast with bacon. Everything we ate was super tasty! The only standard item was the toast (barely toasted, simple, white bread. Meh.) but the homemade cherry rhubarb jam elevated it enough that I had no complaints. The server was also wonderful.
